They were great. Specialty is a family-run business, and their prices are quite fair.I took our Accord in the other day for an oil and filter change and tire rotation. I would have been pleased to have it done the following week, but Daniel figured he could work it in right away. He did. He followed all specs on the oil type (synthetic), reset the oil change interval reading in the computer, and even checked the pressure in each tire when he rotated them. I appreciate a great work ethic and will go back to Specialty Towing for my next service.

We are traveling with our camp trailer and someone said we had a tail light out. We pulled into Specialty towing & auto care to see if they had a bulb. Wyatt quickly checked and it was working properly at the time. He noticed a wire that had been dragging on the ground. He grabbed his tools and fixed it. He then asked if we needed a place to stay for the night and if we needed to eat. He told us where to find both. Very nice, kind and helpful. I would recommend them for sure, even though we didn't need much.

Following up with Dave Rickert, we were heading out to the Winds for some backpacking and our alternator went out literally as we rolled into town. We were able to locate a new alternator and were directed to specialty towing from O'Rielly's Auto. Wyatt and Tomo were awesome, they got us right in, removed and replaced the alternator in less than an hour.We were very pleased with the service and professionalism. My husband and I got stuck in our tractor trailer trying to avoid hitting a motorist that was stuck trying to do a U- Turn in the middle of the road. These guys did a phenomenal job towing us out. It was a nasty storm and the roads were horrible and these professional gentlemen still responded very quickly and what really impressed us the most was one of the kind gentlemen named Ralph picked us up from the fuel stop where we were waiting and kindly drove us back to the truck. Wyatt and Ralph did an excellent job at getting us out and it didn t take long at all. This was the best experience we ve had with a tow company, we highly highly recommended calling these professional men for whatever your car or truck needs they are the best.

My transmission went out on my truck late one Saturday evening. We contacted triple A Sunday morning. Triple A couldn't get ahold of a towing company in our town so they expanded their calling radius. Next thing I know I have a phone call from a tow truck driver coming from 2 hours away! What?! I was kept up to date on ETA and knew what to expect. He came to drop off my truck and was very personable with me and my kids. He even let my son push some of the buttons. Very nice and friendly person. I would recommend specialty towing to anyone who needs a tow around my area. He helped make a stressful situation better. I do not write reviews very often, but I would be amiss not to write one for Specialty Towing. Last week, as I was passing through Thermopolis, I was in a pinch when my work truck suffered some major mechanical issues, all the while pulling a 20' gooseneck stock trailer. I gave Specialty a call, and they were phenomenal to work with. They were there within minutes; had the truck, and the trailer, up and rolling quick, and back down to their lot in no time. After getting to their lot, they gave me a lift over to the hotel, and let me keep the truck and trailer on their lot overnight, solely out of courtesy. Their rates were phenomenal, and their hospitality was genuine. Specialty is an easy going, good-hearted, down to earth crew that I would be happy to do business with again in the future, any day. Thanks again for all your help!

Specialty Towing is awesome! We broke down on the highway 19 miles from Thermopolis and this towing company came to our rescue. Not only did they tow us in but they allowed us to stay overnight in their lot until we could get parts from O'Reilly's the next morning to get our vehicle fixed. Dennis answered several of our phone calls, Dylan towed us in and Jake helped with getting the jack out from under our truck the next morning and gave us some delicious peaches, too. The mechanic was a godsend. I think his name was Wyatt but he was amazing. He knew right what was wrong with our truck, towed it, fixed it, and fixed an error Jiffy Lube in Logan, Utah had made, sent us to the One-Eyed Buffalo for a great hamburger, and got us on the road all within 2 hours. With all the hate and unkindness in our world today, these people were beyond kind. They were caring about us getting to our destination and treated us fairly....in fact we were shocked by the low cost. We may just drive from Utah to Thermopolis to get our car repairs done!

I requested service through my insurance companies road side assistance, specialty towing was quickly dispatched and arrived before their eta, the gentleman that arrived was quick to have me out of the ditch and on my way. Very professional would use again

We were traveling through Thermopolis when our cargo trailers baring's and axel broke. We called Specialty Towing to check on getting the trailer hauled back to Bend. He asked what the issue was and he immediately asked where we were broke down at and said he could most likely fix it and get us back on the road. He was there within 5 min. He determined he could fix it. We drove to his shop. He began working on it right away. He guided us to a local brewery for us to grab a bite and a beer while we waited. We got back on the road that evening. The customer service was stellar. It was a very stressful situation for our family and they made us feel safe and taken care of. I would highly recommend the team at Specialty Towing. Very honest company! Thank you for getting us back on the road and be so affordable and quality orientated!

I was vacationing in Wyoming in July of 2020 & had a leak in the brake line of my FJ Cruiser on a Saturday afternoon. All the repair shops in Thermopolis were closed, & I was contemplating the unpleasant possibility of being stuck in that town till Monday. One of the auto stores recommended that I call Specialty Towing. The owner had a towing job but got back to me within an hour and told me that he would try to fix it. He & his assistant fixed my vehicle that afternoon, which was a huge relief, and for half the price that this job would have cost me in LA. I am extremely pleased with the job that they did. I also would like to apologize to the owner for not submitting this review sooner.

These guys ROCK! We lost a tire and hub. Called these guys and Wyatt came right out and and spent several hours repairing our trailer. Wyatt and Tomo went above and beyond to help us get back on the road and didn t charge us an arm and a leg. They made us feel like family and I can t say enough nice things about them! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Our alternator went out on a Saturday and we didn't have many options to fix it. Wade and crew came through for us and got a new alternator put in within a short time. Good value. Great character.

My civic overheated on the way to Teton national park. AAA sent specialty towing to the rescue and service was excellent! Spoke with Wyatt on the phone to pin point our location (which was middle of nowhere, wy lol) and unfortunately I can t remember our drivers name, but he was very friendly and professional! Would highly recommend them! Thank you, specialty towing

Wyatt was awesome! Quickly got us pulled out of the snow and directed us to the nearest city. He also showed us different routes to get around the road closures and a website to further update us on our travels - it was definitely appreciated!

I can't begin to tell you how wonderful these men were. My alternator went out as I was going into the Wind River Canyon. My friend traveling with me is quadriplegic. It was 7ish and pitch black out. The gentleman and his wife reassured me they would take care of me and my friend. They came within 20 minutes, transferred my friend to their truck, stopped at McDonald's, found us a hotel for the night, fixed my car on Sunday morning after going to Worland for the part, and put my friend back into my car! WOW! They went above and beyond! Thank you Specialty Towing for being my angels.

This is the only towing company any where near Thermopolis that picks up the phone! We felt so blessed to have this conscientious company take care of us. They were kind and efficient and happy to help. We had a transmission go while hauling an antique tractor to Cody. Happened tp break down right in front of their shop and these guys were unbelievable help me not only move my tractor but hooked up my trailer to get out of the road for me as well at no charge would not even accept a tip for nominal service can't say enough about them. Above and beyond!

Our Expedition broke down about 10 miles north of Thermopolis. Specialty was the first Google result so I called them. They were prompt with the tow, and had us repaired and back on the road a few hours later. Couldn't have been happier.

Phenomenal service. Broke down in my semi about 10 miles from Riverton, WY and they came right away. Even dropped my semi off later the same night at the hotel they drove me too. 110% recommend their service. Worth the pay

The have heavy Towing Simi trucks. And smaller. Wreckers. They cover a large area from Thermopolis north and south. To Lander. Up into the Big horn basin. I know this guy and the owners. Very helpful and NOAA knowledgeable and skilled experienced. Good mechanics too. Your in good hands with Specialty Towing
