We came for the local mineral springs and were happy this hotel had a mineral spring right on site. The water was flowing and hot, we met a few people while soaking. The room was clean, bed comfortable, heater worked awesome. Bathroom was clean, towels fresh, and the blow dryer worked. No complaints, definitely would stay here again.

Check in was super easy and staff is friendly. Room was clean and warm, which was wonderful after traveling in negative temps all day! Haven't made it out to the hot springs spa but it sounds very inviting and we do plan to check it out. Overall, I would recommend the hotel. The restaurant inside the hotel, however, was not very good.Rooms: Clean and invitingNoteworthy details: The lady at the front desk was very kind and sweet!

My family has stayed here often over the years, but we will not be back. I was unable to enter a AAA discount on their website, so upon checking in I asked to use it. The man at the desk told me the rate already had a AAA discount. I said that was impossible as there was nowhere to enter it. He was very rude and told me that I did, end of story. The rooms were pretty much bare bones. They looked like they had been stripped from last year. No headboards, no dresser, just a refrigerator sitting under a small tv.We were told the breakfast was much improved by the man at the front desk, but it was definitely more minimal than usual. It snowed about 6 in. the night we were there, and as of 10 a.m, no one had shoveled to the hot tub which was very icy and the parking lot had not been touched. We have never had great expectations for this motel and use it mainly for its location, but now it feels like they are trying to just barely get by. We ll find a new place to go.

The staff is super friendly and helpful and the area is gorgeous. However they probably should have done a better job insulating the walls. You can hear everyone in the halls. Nothing more frustrating than drunk people coming in and out past 10 at night being loud and cursing. Our kiddos were trying to sleep and don't particularly need to over hear what the drunkin neighbors are doing down the hall. If you want to actually sleep and want to have quiet privacy this isn't the place. They definitely can't guarantee it'll be a child friendly experience.

The rooms are very nice, cozy enough in the winter time too. The breakfast options are nice. Pancakes, eggs, sausage and biscuits as well as cereal and oatmeal options. Coffee bar with different flavored syrups for your coffee. Juices and milk. Basically, standard american style breakfast fare. There is an attached restaurant to the hotel, and at night the deer come up just outside the window to eat from the bird feeders we got to watch several deer while we ate.

I really enjoy staying here. But it s really in need of renovations. Our bathroom had mold on the ceiling and tile grout. The hot pads toMelt the ice on the stairs by the hotel hot tub shorted out, and started smoking while we were in the hot tub, it could have electrocuted someone if they were walking on it at the time. The staff was very kind and hospitable. But the whole town is really going downhill since I was a kid 18 years ago.

The room I stayed in could use an update, the bathroom is very small, definitely not made for more than one person to occupy at once. For the price though wasn t bad. Ate dinner with my parents at the safari club inside the hotel, wasn t that busy but had to wait for a table, had ordered drinks prior to, went back 10 minutes later and had to reorder from the same gentleman. The most amazing pictures line the hallways of that hotel, real neat adventures the owner has experienced! Would come back

We came from montana to soak in the hot springs. We came at 310 p.m. and the guy at the front desk said our room was not gonna be ready for a while. He stated to write our phone number down and he will call us when our room is ready. We did and we left. I ended up calling around 515 p.m. to see if the room was ready cause there was no phone call and he answered and stated that our room was ready now and he has been trying to call me but I didn't have no phone calls. We came and got our room. I would have thought he would give me some discount but he didn't cause our room was not ready. We enjoyed dinner at the restaurant there but the waitress was extremely rude to my mother in law. My mother in laws food was soggy, it has been sitting for a while because they ran out of loaded potatoes so they were going to make mashed potatoes. My mother in law was so hungry when she got her food that she ate a bit and then she couldn't eat it anymore cause it was that soggy. She asked the waitress for a discount cause she told her what the problem was, and the waitress gave her an attitude when asked for a discount. She took the plate and went to her manager, came back and said that the manager and the cook thought it was ok, before taking the plate, the waitress did admit that it was sitting and the condensation of the plate made it soggy since it was sitting waiting for the mashed potatoes to be done. My mother in law again asked for a discount, and the waitress rudely said well you ate most of it and walked away. She, at the end did give her a 5 dollar discount but there was unnecessary rudeness that we dealt with. She did not even mention that there was almost a 3 dollar fee for using a card to pay. We were never told that otherwise cash would have been used to pay.At the end, my fiancee did say he would never come back cause of the rudeness and the long wait to even get our food. We came there at 6:51 p.m. and got our food at 7:45 and left at 815 or so.Rooms: Room are nice

Stayed here four times in the last 2 mos. When your short on time but need to get away, Thermopolis is a great destination. Some the rooms are remolded, some are not, a work in progress I assume :)It's safe, (heck, just about anywhere in Thermop is safe) clean, decent breakfast. Be nice if they'd change it up, but according the attendant they're changing suppliers and can't really order different stuff. (kinda gets me to thinking.. If they're changing suppliers, did they get bought out?? Sure hope not, if they did, then I know exactly what/who bought them. The beds are okay, the toilets are round.. grrrr, how about oval toilets? You know, normal ones lol.Plenty of channels on the tv, heaters work VERY well and are quiet. Plenty of parking, RV's to itty bitty Le Car's Free WI-FI (Use a VPN though)It's very VERY close to the Star Plunge. Prices are good for the area, and overall? Good enough for me :)Rooms: Some are remodeled, appears to be a work in progress.SMALL microwave (maybe a 600 watt)At least 42 inch tv's with cable, plenty of channels.WI-FI (Free)Heating / Cooling work greatGood water pressure in the shower and H O T waterNearby activities: Star Plunge Swimming PoolSwinging BridgeSafety: It's Thermop.. It's Safe. Yep.. Locks on the doors, with chains on the inside of the door.Walkability: Maybe a 5 minute walk to the Star Plunge. Shopping? Drive about 2 minutes and BAM your there.High School - 5 minute walkTaco Johns - 5 minute walkFood & drinks: Lounge and restaurant as well as free hot breakfast. Vending machines (Grocery store is about a 3 minute drive)

We stopped here during our trip through Wyoming, the employee that was at the front desk wasn't the nicest person. The decorations were pretty cool, a lot of taxidermy in the hallways. The rooms were okay, they were pretty small and they had a weird smell to them.Food & drinks: There is a really good restaurant inside this building with great food.

Whenever we are traveling to Wyoming to visit family we incorporate a stop at Hot Springs Hotel and Spa into our travel plans. It's not as luxurious as other hotels, but the food at the Safari Club is always excellent. Some of the best prime rib I've ever had. The staff is helpful and fun. Last night my puppy got loose and ran off, in the black of night, chasing some deer. I thought I would never see my dog again. But some gentlemen from the hotel helped me find my dog. That was above and beyond! And then, of course, there is their thermal pools. The best way to describe them, after a long day of traveling is "aaaaahhh". And they even have an "Adults Only" designated time slot, if you need a break from the kiddos. Read one review that complained about the smell...the property is a sulfer spring...what would you expect it to snell like? But for those of us who understand the logistics of it all, we know the smell is part of the coolness of the whole location. And the property is right on the river, with walking paths and plenty of space for puppies to exercise and play. Absolutely, 4 stars for our needs and wants. We consider it "our place" in Wyoming!Nearby activities: It's located at the entrance of Thermopolis Hot Springs where there are many attractions. Waterslides, other thermal heated pools, boardwalks all around hot springs, a swinging bridge over the river, Coy pond, wild buffalo...its just beautiful.Walkability: Thermopolis is a short walk from the Spa.

Robert, front desk manager, was super helpful and accommodating during the check in process. Our room was situated a little too close to the stairs, as our sleep was only slightly disrupted by the stair door closing/opening.Location is ideal for walking to the mineral/hot springs bath house. If you're up for a walk, there is a nice paved walking path along the river. It's really quite lovely.Hotel room is dated and could use some upgrades.Breakfast was ok. They served hot cakes, oatmeal, cereal, yogurt and pastries. If we had to stay in Thermopolis again, we wouldn't hesitate booking here again.Walkability: You can walk to the hot springs and along the river path. You can also walk about 1/4 mile outside of the park to taco John's and a pizza joint.

This is a very conveniently located hotel in Thermopolis. It's great that they have a hot spring pool in the back. We were able to socialize there and have a great time meeting people. They allow you to drink alcohol there as long as there's no glass. The room was fine but the hallways looked pretty dated and need to be remodeled. If you can look past that, it's a great value.

Rooms are dated and need to be modernized, I first just this hotel 8yrs ago and everything still looks the same, including the carpets.... biscuits and gravy for breakfast everyday gets old. But burgers at the restaurant are great, not cheap, but I think they are worth it.Nearby activities: Close to the springs, Wyoming whiskey company not too far. I love the wind canyon.

Older well run hotel. Rooms had outside door to the courtyard/ pool area. Bed was good. Hot shower with good water pressure. Breakfast was good. Nothing to complain about. The previous owner loved to safari and hunt. If that offends he is dead and maybe mounted on a wall somewhere. :) He did take some awesome photos.Nearby activities: Hot springs

Hot tub needs a good update. As does the hotel- they were currently giving a fresh coat of paint as we were thereToo many doors that slam loudly and thin walls. We did enjoy the exit door to the outside - easier to deal with puppies and quick return from the hot tub!We did have a nice dinner Saturday night in the safari club and though the animal heads can be overwhelming I enjoyed seeing all the hood stock I didn t know.Rooms were clean and staff was friendly.

Drove all night from OKC and arrived here 16 hours later. Had not planned on staying anywhere particular just somewhere close to the park. We were pleasantly surprised by the natural mineral water piped into the outdoor pools. The temp was 103F and instant relief. I have never tried a hot mineral spring but this made me a believer. The rooms are a bit dated BUT service, restaurant, location and the hot springs make up for it. We decided to stay an extra night. Thank you for the hospitality. Will be making this trip again =)Food & drinks: Free drinks from the Lounge were much appreciated! I had Merlot with my sirloin.

The biggest pro was the mineral hot tub the location within the state park. The rooms are very dated and kind of musty smelling, the wallpaper is coming off inside the rooms and the hallways. It s a hit or miss if the bathroom light was gonna turn fully on, and the tv constantly froze. Only stayed two nights with a pet and got charged $340, next time we will be going back to the Two Rivers Inn.Nearby activities: Being within the state park, everything is walking distance which was very convenient.

The rooms are very dated and smell musty. However, the price is decent for its location. The safari club restaurant is very good, too. I recommend the prime rib.I would stay here again but would compare prices all over town first. None of the places outside the park have the hot tub, pool and river access this does.Walkability: Easy stroll on the river

We went there for the Thanksgiving buffet all you can eat. Was a wonderful experience amazing atmosphere friendly people great food What else can I say.Food & drinks: As I stated up above we went for the Thanksgiving buffet all you could eat. They had prime ribbon turkey dressing cranberries vegetables desserts It was very very good. The lounge where we had the dinner were basically a hunter's paradise They had animals from all over the world that were up on the walls. Some might be offended but for somebody that likes that sort of thing big myself I thought it was beautiful.

If you're looking to spend quality time at a quality location, this place is for you.The staff were highly friendly and helpful; capable of meeting any of your needs. The fact that it's by Star Plunge (a personal favorite of mine) and national parks, plus the dinosaur museum make it a prime fit for a nice stay. Also, the hot tub that's provided is top notch. Just make sure not to bring in any glass and use plastic containers for your beverages (and no smoking of course).Overall, it's my go-to place to stay in the beuaitful city of Thermopolis.
