I bought one of your Phantoms from Golf Carts of Cypress. It's an amazing cart! You all have outdone yourselves

I purchased an EV Titan (not the EVO model) with the lithium ion battery pack. Upon receipt of the cart I immediately noticed something was dramatically wrong with the steering. As speed got above 15 MPH it would dart all over the road and was uncontrollable; it was dangerous to drive. After months of trying everything I could think of to correct the issue and communicating with the dealer, the dealer noted there were known steering issues with this model and that they would ship it back across the country and correct the issue on their dime. I was disappointed a manufacturer sold a model with steering issues, but was appreciative the dealer was bending over backwards to try and correct the known issue. After a few weeks, I got the cart back. It appeared a couple of high density plastic blocks had been inserted in the front of the frame to prevent it from twisting/deflecting and sizeable wheel spacers had been put at all four wheels. The wider stance gave the cart more stability around turns, but that was never an issue to begin with. The issue of the cart darting all over the road at 15MPH or above was still the same. I had no way to keep the cart given it was not safe to drive to the beach or restaurants with my family on board. The dealer noted they had already spent a fortune supporting me and didn't have a better fix option than what they already provided so I had to take up a return with the manufacturer. EV Titan initially wanted to do nothing and told me there is a caution plaque posted on the cart that clearly states its not meant for the street. I was blown away by this stance given they heavily promote the cart is street legal in most states out of the factory in all their marketing materials. I also had street tires on my cart and the suspension at the lower setting so it would fit in my garage. In the end, after a ton of arm twisting, they gave me 500 dollars towards my 1,700 shipping costs to return the unit to the dealer. The dealer was apparently stuck with reselling the unit, if they could get it to handle properly. In the end I give this manufacturer 1 star because they sold a cart I believe they knew had steering problems that could cause major safety issues, then when it was brought to their attention they tried to pin the issue on me by saying the cart wasn't meant for use on paved streets. I would highly encourage anyone looking at an EV Titan cart to drive it first at all speed levels to see if there are dangerous handling issues. I would also encourage potential buyers to make sure they are purchasing from a dealer who will try to stand by the units if there are issues, because in my experience the manufacturer will leave you stranded. Lastly, I would tell those in the cart buying market to beware of little known brands with very little reviews who appear to offer lot of options at a discounted price. I switched to a Club Car and it handles and rides perfect. Had I just went with my gut and a well known brand for which there are thousands of reviews to begin with I would have saved a lot of money time.

I like these carts. It sounds from reading the reviews that people are buying carts without driving them and then getting mad. To me, having had lots of golf carts in the past, they drive like a Yamaha golf cart but with more power. The suspension has more play than a club car or ezgo because it is an off road suspension. People should just drive them before purchasing one just like any other vehicle and not complian when thing don't go your way...IMO

I bought one in florida from a local dealer. I like the way it drives, but I compare it to what I drive on the golf course. It's handels well, with many features.

Worst company to deal with and worst customer service. 2 broken carts haven't worked from day one. Call Florida dealers and ask about these carts before you consider... BUYER BEWARE DO NOT BUY THESE.
