The gentleman who checked us in to our hotel was courteous, helpful and professional. 3/18/24 around 10:30am. The room was very clean and wonderful. The staff at the casino and the bar and grill were also nice. Monday through Wednesday a lot of things are closed, close early, or even though items are on the menu, it doesn't mean they have them. This should be made more clear up front; but my opinion only. The experience of having a place to stay with easy parking for our 18 wheeler (we are truck drivers) and the man at check in made it a great experience.

This casino is an absolutely awesome place to spend a day or two. Great food. fantastic selection of slots, and one of the very BEST host I have encountered in my 60 years. (ASK FOR CARLINO LOPEZ) Very nice guy, super professional, The hosts in Vegas could learn a thing or two from Carlino. He will make sure your experience is Top Notch. As far as the Gaming. Yesterday, on a day trip I won 24 hand pays totalling over $53,000.00 dollars and last Wednesday I went home with $20,000.00 in winnings on 16+ hand pays. This is gaming at its best. I have watched Cowboy Slots on Utube and his videos show both Shoshone rose and Wind River. I think he works for Rose so he's a little bias but you can see the Wind River Casino on a couple of his videos. My opinion is there's NO comparison. Wind River outdoss Rose by leaps and bounds.Remember to ask for Carlino and he will take care of you.The food in the restaurants is TOP Notch and as I live in Wyoming I have only had a need to stay in the hotel a couple times. On those occasions I was very satisfied. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. They do have pet allowed rooms as well, so if your traveling with a lil family member he or she will have a place to stay as well. Here's a couple recommendations on slots for you. Mighty cash. It is a medium volitility multi denominational game that can have very good pays and frequent bonus features.Pinball. One of the most popular slots ever made. This is the older machine with a pinball pay on one single line pinball icon. Bets up to $20 denom. and low volatility so more frequent feature hits.Dragon link high risk high rewardfun game. When it's hot it pays cold, well you know, No Smoking so it's a comfortable environment for ALL. If your a smoker there's locations close to the entrance.Friendly staff just a great little casino. If your anywhere near Riverton you should stop in and check the Wind out.Have fun

We pulled our RV into the lot hoping for a quick nights sleep and nothing more. What we discovered when walking into the casino/hotel was a staff who were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The food, both dinner and breakfast were very tasty. The best out of all our stops during our 3 week road trip. There is a small museum showcasing some Arapaho artwork that is a must see. We d like to thank all the staff for their hospitality.

Sadly this casino and hotel seems pretty under staffed with a lot of machines that are in need of maintenance and almost all player kiosks out of order. Was really hoping for a better experience on my trip back to WyomingWalkability: This place is definitely not walkable

Front desk tried to hustle me. Told me he just booked his last room. As I was booking online he said a room came available and would match the price online if I booked at the desk for the same price.....slots are extremely tight. Decent room for a long trip through Yellowstone on the way to South Dakota. Use it for a rest shower and possibly some food, DONT gamble here

I love this place! I don't win ever but I did several times! 400 on the way out the door! I got stomach issues the second day and let me say they gave me a free night and staff is so friendly every shift! And I love thier for souvenir. They have Gatorade and Sobe life water as well as foffe and soda 24 7. They have a few old style games but alot of very new modern seat rumbling ones two! I only wish I could rent my room by the month and afford to play everyday to. I will be back just not sure when. Thank you wind River I had a blast even sick!Food & drinks: They have thie liquor license now this Tuesday I think they will have alcohol! Don't hold me to that I may be wrong!

Wind River Casino's Sports Book is an absolute winner! The energetic smoke-free atmosphere, massive screens everywhere, and friendly staff make it a sports lover's dream. The variety of televised sports and UFC broadcasts caters to most, and the tasty food adds to the experience. But the real highlight? The staff, crew and people of the Wind River Casino. Gary, Margaret, Madeline, Weldon, Richard and Silvia - THANK YOU for the warm welcome. Can't wait to be back for more fun moments! If you can, take a take a pic with their mascot!! Clean, safe and happy experiences!!- Joey Batts!!

I called to order food and was questioned about my room and sat on hold for 3 people to ultimately be told unless im a guest of the hotel i can't order ahead for pickup.GUEST OR NOT WHICH WE ARE, you either want this money and tip or another business is going to get it. Super rude and trivial to be questioned when trying to give our out of state business to your cafe. If youre worried get caller id to identify locals because its not 2023 and it matters to you apparently.I heard Shoshone Rose restaurant has reopened and they allow pickup orders. Totally worth the drive!

Save your money. I have came here twice now. Having spent well over 500 both times I can vouch how terrible the odds and payouts are here. Just terrible. Second time I spent 300 bucks to hit a single feature that paid 20 bucks. Every machine, and every denomination attempted just cash drain. I saw no one winning both times. No one expects to come out ahead playing slots but the payout odds are so bad here you don't even get to play for any amount of time because you just get cash drained. Overhead multiple patrons voice similar sentiment while here both times.

Spent two days/nights .. enjoyed every minute .. helped that I won some but was disappointed that favorite machines .. Quick Hits.. have all been removed. Bummer!!Noteworthy details: Beds are extremely high, making it difficult to get into bed. Have to wonder what the theory is.

The staff were super friendly & professional. Nice room, great bathroom. I was surprised to find that masks were mandatory inside but I understand how CoVid affected the tribes particularly harshly.Unfortunately the Red Willow restaurant was closed on a Sunday but I had good food in the sports bar areaWould definitely recommend staying there.

It's a little on the smaller side and doesn't have as many new machines as Riverton but it's clean and not to busy usually staff Is nice so if your in the area worth a check outWalkability: It's like 10 min out of town driving so your not walking anywhere

We stayed in the hotel, ate dinner, and gambled. The only thing that I had a beef with is the asparagus that came with my filet mignon was tough . Everything else was top notch. The room prices were very good and the room was very spacious and clean.I would definitely stay here again.

The staff was so kind, the room was lovely, and everything was simple to navigate. Even the free soaps were adorable! The food services like the Buffalo Restaurant and the Cee Noku Cafe were delicious I got breakfast at the cafe for a great price (2 eggs, corned beef hash, hash browns, plus a Maple Long John - all so good). We were also happy to see they still take Covid seriously, so masks are required. Again, can t stress enough how sweet everyone working there was. One of the best hotel experiences I ve had!

This place was amazing!! The hotel was very comfy, roomy, and was anhad an easy way to get to the Casino floor. The Restaurant was so dang delicious, we ate there four times! Very reasonable in price at the Restaurant and hotel. Tons and tons of machines, lots to drink for free, and cool table games. It has a Salon, Museum, and a Gift Shop, along with a Players Card. Everything you need under one roof. My wife and I made money on this trip and had a ton of fun. Our son had a blast too taking in the area's sites, and although underage was able to eat at the Restaurant with us. We will be back and are very thankful for only being a four hour drive away. Another big plus for us was, they care. They take Temps at the door, they clean the machines, and everyone including customers must ware masks. You guys at Wind River Hotel and Casino are the best, thank you so very much, we hope to see you again soon!

Love this place! Friendly & prompt staff! Wish they'd re-open the little casino.. but still a cool place to be. & now, they've got a bar or you can at least order an alcoholic beverage.
