The staff went above and beyond to accommodate me. I was stranded here because of my transmission going out on the way back to North Dakota and they went above and beyond. I would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again in a heartbeat. The rooms have HBO and Spectrum cable with an on-demand TV guide on the TV, a mini fridge with a large freezer and refrigerator, comfortable beds, a recliner in the room, and were extremely clean. The a/c and heating unit in the room was quiet and did an excellent job of keeping the room at a consistent temperature, which is more than I can say for some other more expensive hotels I ve stayed in. The pricing was extremely reasonable as well! The location is excellent with everything you need within walking distance.

I do not know where they find people to write good reviews. I was stunned at the price for the quality, it lack of quality. When I made the reservation by phone, I was told we could get one of the last of two rooms available. We were getting a deal since the air conditioner didn't work, so our deal was $159.00. Our price was forty dollars more than the rooms that the air works. We had to take anything as we had been trying to find a place to stay for six hours. We should have slept in the car. So we check in, the nice host brought us a box fan. I was in shock over all of the long black hairs on the bathroom floor. I went some tissue and cleaned them up and proceeded to take a shower. Nope, the handle to turn the shower on just kept spinning. So I could not check out fast enough, slept two hours, got on line to leave a review and saw the pictures of the hotel we just stayed at. WHAT???? Thank gosh for copy and paste and stock photos. So tonsum it up, we paid $40 extra to be downgraded to the worst room. DO NOT STAY HERE!Rooms: NASTY!

I had booked this place a month before my week long road Yellowstone road trip for about $73 and I got to say this was worth staying! The lobby guy was a good talker as well and he was super helpful with the service. The rooms were well maintained and neat! Me and the missus enjoyed the stay! After my previous bad experience at a Super 8 at Belle Forche, SD (I've posted a separate review), I had mixed thoughts about coming to another Super 8 but there were no issues whatsoever. Overall, a good place to stay for families, couples and individuals.Rooms: Neat and simplistic, well maintained, nothing to complain!

Got 2 rooms for 2 nights in June 2023. I knew what I getting when I booked. We weren t hanging out in the room, just slept there. Decent for what we needed- a place to sleep. Had no issues with rooms or front desk staff. Water pressure in shower was magnificent, lol. Rooms were clean. Carpets weren t bad- our socks didn t get dark from walking around room. Mini fridge & microwave in room.

We made a stop here after we could not get out of Wyoming due to the weather conditions. It's in a little town there are a little Ceasars right beside it, so that's good. The hotel has free breakfast the rooms are a good size everything was nice and clean it smelled great. Gab, who works there, is awesome. I was very friendly. Any questions we had, he answered with no problem, great guy, and great service. If you need to rest, this is a great place to come to, or even if you live in this area, I still recommend coming and staying for a few nights. Oh, the rooms even include a microwave and a fridge plus a recliner chair, which in some high-end hotels, you wouldn't even get that, so that's another plus. Here is a pic of my bath water was nice and hot very relaxing

Dirty, unwelcoming, not safe. Would not allow cancelation so I could go to different property. I have lots of photos I can't post here but will definitely include in other reviews. This was probably one of the worst properties I've ever stayed in and that includes my travels in third world countriesSafety: Stayed in several properties this trip but this was the only location I felt compelled to utilize the security lock I travel with...and good thing, as there was an obvious police search happening behind the property when I was checking out in the morning. This also left me with no place for my dog to eliminate as they are not allowed to use the front of the building. We therefore had to drive down the street before he could do his business.Food & drinks: There was NO breakfast. When checking out the coffee was from the day before. Nothing was set out for breakfast that when I made the reservation claimed was included in the price. Of course after seeing the conditions of the room and property, I don't think I would have been comfortable having food or beverages at this location.Noteworthy details: NOT PET FRIENDLY. Despite what website and desk person claims, this property is not pet friendly. There were additional charges not disclosed when booking. Pets can not use lawn for eliminating. Was told not to let dog on bed or furniture and that dogs were dirty and did more damage than people. I have photos of how dirty room was.

Room has broken trim broken shelf. Human hair on beds floor and tub. Tub is scary looking. Freaking gross. Had to sleep one night because camp got rained out with flood warnings. Can't wait to be out of here. Looks rough compared to photos. Curtain is messed up. Don't recommend. We will never be back for sure. Our own fault pushed rooms in Lander and somehow brought this up. No cancelation or we would have.

I have been coming to Riverton for the past couple of years due to work. And whenever I need a place to stay, I always book here. The staff here is pretty courteous and accommodating. Gabe at the front desk makes you feel at home. The rooms are clean, comfy, and decently priced! And with breakfast included, it is well worth the stay. Recently, they've been renovating the hotel, so it looks even better than before! If you're looking for a quiet and affordable place to stay in, then the Super 8 in Riverton will not disappoint!

This hotel is very run-down and outdated; it needs repairs and an entire overhaul. It appears the only person they have working is one guy who is overworked and under-appreciated. There is no elevator nor enough rooms to accommodate disabled guests. No breakfast was provided even though it is advertised on Super 8 websites as available. The whole operation seemed sketchy, and the area itself felt shady and unsafe. The back hallway door did not lock properly, and the parking lot was not plowed thoroughly. So many things wrong with the room, no towels (they ran out), and the door latch fell off in my hand when I put it on, I had to have them repair it so that I could feel safer in the room. In the restroom, the ceiling tiles were breaking apart and shifted, and the tub was rusted from needing to be cleaned properly. The bed had hair that made me not want to sleep under the covers for fear of bed bugs (skittles), as some locations will like to call them. Overall, this location is in serious need of help.

Extremely friendly and helpful customer service at the front desk. Rooms were cozy and clean. Carpet could use an update but was hardly an issue. With greedy Air B&B hosts making prices more expensive than a hotel, Super 8 is going to be one of my first stops moving forward.

Book somewhere else!!! The hotel is very dirty, smelly, and unsafe. Traveled recently with a group of students. The lobby is dirty. The daytime staff was argumentative when asking simple questions. My room had dried pizza sauce on the phone, black hairs in the bathroom and on the night stand. Another room had black mold around the tub. Bedspreads were stained. The hallway looked as if it handn't been vacuumed in some time. The outside doors did not lock. Typically, a key is needed to enter. Staff said the knew and a "door was on its way, but you know you have a deadbolt". With students it felt unsafe. Others in our party complained about the domestic fighting in the parking lot. The hotel staff couldn't print receipts, nor was the card reader working. It is evident no pride is taken in the keeping this property safe and clean for hotel guests.

There are a few motels in Riverton. But I have to admit that this one is my favorite. Gabe, the front desk manager is a very kind person that dose whatever it takes to make your stay the best it can be. He's a very hard worker always making sure things are clean and safe. He even makes the breakfast. As for the rooms. You get more then at hotels 3 times the price. Big rooms. Recliners. Microwave. Fridge. Wifi. Cable. Hair dryer. Iron board and iron. Great showers. Hot water that never runs out. Plus the motel is close to 2 pizza restaurants. And across street from a convenience store. The restaurants are next door. We stopped here to sleep a day on our trip from Nevada to Washington dc. We are so comfortable that we stayed a 2nd night. And may even stay a 3rd.

Room is disgusting. Towels are all stained. Doubtful if sheets were changed. Room is just in overall bad shape. Not clean. The breakfast consisted of a frosted honey bun from Walmart and coffee which was empty. I love the vague 5 star reviews by random "business" travelers. This place could never get a five star review. We chose for having a breakfast because that gets us going faster but I wouldn't feed kids what was offered

We often stay at Super 8 because they are affordable, however, conditions can be sketchy. We were delightfully surprised by this Super 8. Our room was clean and quiet. AC worked well. Gabe, at the front desk couldn't have been nicer. He even offered to help carry our bags. Breakfast was what we have come to expect from this chain but everything else exceeded expectations.

For the hotel quality, it was not worth the price we paid. On average, decent hotels end up to be about the same price we ended up having to pay. I have a support dog, live in a different state, and sent in my pet note via email. Only upon leaving were we told that we would still be charged 20 per night for the pet, since we did not have a special type of paper and signed, printed pet note. I only have electronic copies and they should suffice. This was dealt with very poorly on their part. The bed was scratchy, hard, and uncomfortable. The front desk lady was not friendly in the slightest. Definitely will not be coming again. The only positives were the people we talked to on the phone (great customer service) to secure our stay before we left, and decent wifi.

In continuation from the last review, bathroom faucet in the sink is broken. Temperature cannot be adjusted. Broken chair back. The smell of urine was disgusting. The bathroom door is full of holes front and back! Certainly not a $100. room.If I could add photos I would!

By far the worst motel I have ever stayed at! From the moment I walked into the room it reeked of cigarette smoke and when we scoped out the whole room we discovered that our air conditioner didn t work correctly. The bathroom was disgusting and there was an abundance of flies. We went to ask for extra towels and they handed us 2 brown stained and torn towels. I went to sleep in one of the two beds only to wake up in the morning with many BED BUG BITES all over my back, arms, and legs and so did my friend who shared the room with me. I have never experienced something this disgusting with a hotel/motel before. We tried calling the motel to complain but they either didn t answer the phone or completely avoided trying to address the problem and fix it. Not to mention I left a pair of airpod pros in my room a little before I left town, but when we called the hotel they refused to even look for them. We were willing to mail them or even turn around and get them but they claimed they have no idea where they were. We tracked them on my phone and it showed that my airpods never left the motel. I have never been so frustrated at the situation and the motel. Yes, it s cheap but it is NOT worth it!

The bad outweighs the good, so we will not stay here again. On the plus side, it was quiet, great Wi-Fi, and a super breakfast that included fresh hard boiled eggs that were still hot. We also appreciated the late night clerk who offered a different room since the air-conditioning in our first room was not working. The negatives were that same AC that quit working, plus the wildly varying water temperature in the morning trying to take a shower. The shower we took in the evening trying to cool off in the room without AC was fine, so if you do stay here be sure to take an evening shower and not in the morning.
