The bathrooms are awesome! Beautiful showers with a private dressing area. Helpful front desk!Playground was a win with the kids of all ages, and free putt-putt won the day. Dark park is huge with shrubs and tree (And fire hydrant!) and fence is secure, which matters for our tiny dog. Other campers were friendly and helpful. Heard they offer monthly rates, and good ones! Easy location right off the highway with gas stations and stores within walking distance. This was our third time staying there. We love it!

They have clean showers only have washers and dryers. There is a little dog park. There s a small area for tent camping. The RV sites are OK. Fairly close together. If you need to stop here for a night, it s fine. If you are looking to do something long-term, I would probably look at the RV park up the road. They don t like to keep the grass cut here and it can be difficult to get any response when you speak with any of the staff.

I ve stayed here for 3 months, their prices are overpriced, will not keep the grass cut, internet works when it wants to, complain will not get you anywhere. I know what it s like to run a business, I do appreciate your concern about possible damage to my camper. In the future I will not post anything negative about your business. You have been very helpful. Thank you.Noteworthy details: Enuff

Arrived here after having a blowout on our 5th wheel. The new owners were very cordial and went out of their way to help us in finding a trusted RV tech to repair wire damage. They even loaned us some tools to help remove stripped lugnuts and get us back on the road. Campground has nice level gravel sites. Location is close to town and interstate, but road noise is never an issue. Laundry on site as well, and only $1.50 to wash & dry a load! Very pleased with our stay and will certainly be looking to stay here again when passing through!

It is a good place for overnight, which we did. It is a bit rustic, but it is clean and Molly at the front desk is so nice. The sites are close together, but it is not noisy except for interstate traffic, which we could not hear in our RV. We got a senior discount (nice). I thought the rate was a little high, but in October 2022 everything is high (thanks a lot, President Biden).

The Pros: Tiffany in the office was very nice and helpful. There's a nice mini-golf course. Our site was level and had one of the only trees in the park. Easy access. Seminoe State Park isn't far and is beautiful. The Cons: High water pressure so regulator is required, not that big of a deal. No campfires allowed. Picnic tables (where provided - there aren't many) are old and beat. No one mows because there's lots of rock, it would damage your camper. No scenery at all. Road and train noise. This place is great for an overnight. I would never stay another week.

I stayed here overnight on a cross country trip. The place is very much designed for RVs. The "tent camping" area is not very comfortable, as it is basically a gravel parking lot, but car camping setups would work. Check in is easy even after hours. The showers/restrooms are nice and clean. The dog park was helpful and big enough to give pups some room to roam. The mini golf area is a bit old and worn and the playground looks a bit unkempt. The interstate is right next to the park, which is convenient but expect to hear it if you're near the front of the park (tent areas).

The owners were wonderful and went out of their way to get us comfortably settled in. The power was stable and sewer connection convenient. It is March, so water was off, but we were offered the option of having it turned on. These young people are working hard to make this a wonderful park, and have done an excellent job. Definitely stay here if you are in the area (summer or winter)!

We stayed here for about 3 weeks & it was great! Our camper was situated closer to the mountains side, so it was perfect for taking dogs out. Also theres a little trail back there where u can hike around & it has a nice little view! The campground is close to everything you need! It felt very safe & no riff raff. Cute little store & the best laundry room ever! All machines worked!! Great heat in the dryers! Coin machines were full & it was spotless clean in there! 4 stars bc we pulled out 1 week earlier than our designated reservations, while asking for no refunds, & absent mindedly did not tell staff we were leaving. We got a phone call & got our butts reamed for not telling them...Calm down, you still got your money, honey. But yes, we wld camp here again!

First off, the bathroom is AMAZING!!! Clean showers, no stench, no mess. Even the lighting was great. There is an awesome mini-golf course that was really fun, and the check inn was super nice. We got in after the desk was closed but they left an envelope with our name and a cute map to our rv spot! Overall this was the best campground we had stayed at all summer.

Great for a quick overnight. We stopped after hours with no reservation and it was easy to quick check-in. We were out early the next morning, so didn't get to look at at the facilities.Minus a star for interstate noise, but we knew that it was close to the interstate. Otherwise, great for a cross country overnight.

Bathrooms are super clean and showers are excellent. Overall it's well kept, though our tent site was lacking a picnic table and the mini golf was run down. Highly recommend for a night passing through. Very fair price for the cleanliness and friendly, accommodating staff and owners.

Small rv park right off of rt 80. We used it as an overnight on the way to Yellowstone. Sites are close together and are pull through and level with full hookups. Cable didn't work well, only had 4 or 5 channels, new management was going to contact the cable company and look into it. Sites are gravel and were dusty due to the wind. Laundry room was great and the dryers actually dried the cloths with one cycle. Showers and restrooms were nice and clean. Great layover, but simple park and I wouldn't do a long stay. No shade trees.

Great park for an overnight stay. Very friendly staff!! We were greeted with a smile and mint for our pillow. Such a nice touch!! Our pup was also given a dog treat. Our pull-through was large enough that we were able to stay hooked up for our early morning departure the next day.

Very nice small park with super sweet staff. We arrived right before dark. Check in was quick and the gentleman was so nice and helpful when we asked about places to eat. He guided us to our spot which was great. The site was easy to get into but they are narrow. There was a slight slant to our spot which made unhooking a bit more difficult for our fifth wheel. The camper was almost on level ground but the truck was slanted down so we back the camper up a bit and that fixed our problem. We stayed only one night. We had full hookup with sewer and everything was easily within reach. The bathroom was clean and not a far walk. I would definitely return on future trips.

Good spot. Nice staff. Decent sites that are level and modern. The large gravel stops dust, dont complain people! Showers were clean and staff was nice plus an escort to the site.Only complaint is theres no parking lot lights and its real dark at night.NOT the fault of this business; For those that are sensitive to noise, the road noise was noticeable until around 11pm when truck traffic became lighter And the train horns for the busy freight train tracks nearby were very loud. Probably had a train pass by hourly.I dont think you will escape the noise anywhere in rawlins. The locals should petition the railroad to go to a no-horn and it would probably attract more RVers. The park was nowhere near filled and it could be because of the train traffic.

The staff was amazing, so friendly and helpful. We stayed for two weeks and enjoyed every minute. There is above, large dog park with toys for them to play with. There is putt putt and a small book area in the laundry. The laundry is large with lots of washers and dryers. I recommend for a week or two to see all things in the area.

It's a nice-ish place. There is mini golf and horseshoes, and dog park area. Friendly staff. I personally like a little more personal space, our slide out was basically pushed up next to the other person's picnic table, and our neighbor smoked while we are a smoke free family.... but all and all it was a nice place to stay a night. With 2 adults 2 kids and 2 dogs it was about $34 for the night.

Details matter!f Incredibly friendly staff and clean facilities. After being on the road for 3wks in the RV it was amazing to get a proper shower in their beautiful shower room. Too bad I didn't have time to use the laundry room (jk). We arrived too late at night for the kids to play but my 3yo loved exploring the mini golf course with his flashlight. Will be making this our resting place on our future road trips!

We stayed here from April to the beginning of September (2018) The staff is nice and friendly. Everything is quiet and peaceful. They have a decent size laundry room and a place to pick up your mail. Which by the way, I want to personally thank the lady that runs the front desk for sending my packages to me after we left. I highly appreciate the above and beyond customer service. There is also a lady that sells mini cakes there on Tuesday or Wednesday, I m not too sure. I wish I could have picked up another before we left. They re called something like cakes made with love. They are delicious, pick one up if you stay there. Also, they have plenty of deer and wild life around the campground, great for kids and adults to really enjoy the outdoors.

We arrived late at night for a quick overnite stay. Campground is conveniently located off the hwy 80. We found our check-in ppwk/instructions was very thorough and available to us once we arrived. The Bathrooms and Showers were very nice & clean. The next morning we met the staff and they were helpful and friendly.

Very friendly staff and great park. Had food truck with various yummies on lot. Nice showers and laundry. Has propane onsite and a few RV necessities available in office (more than most). Plenty of room for 32' with passenger van to park. Wifi was spotty but worked better than most places. Definitely recommend.

I can't really say enough good things about the owner of this place. I was staying at a campgrounds right down the road and they decided to close a week early and gave me like 2 hours notice. My truck was broke down actually at a shop and I had no way to move my camper. The owner personally came down and moved me at no charge and took me to the shop when my truck was finished. The owners of the other park had a truck and could have helped me, but they chose not to, so needless to say, next time I'm In the area I will stay here. Thanks

I totally recommend Red Desert if you're looking for a place to spend a night as you travel across WY. I don't think I've stayed at a park where they try harder to please their guests. They even had a courtesy vehicle you could borrow if you needed it. This part of WY is quite desolute & the park ground is just a gravel parking lot & the units are close together. But they've done a lot to make it welcoming & for 1 night it works fine. I picked this place without checking others just because of the incredibly friendly welcome I got on the phone when I called to check availability. These are very nice friendly people. The showers were some of the best I've used as we travel across the country, I rate them a 5. Clean & well maintained, great water pressure, lots of hot water, plenty of hooks to hang items, a towel bar & a good shower caddy to place small bottle of shampoo & soap. The price is incredibly reasonable & I'm very glad we found this place on our long trip.
