Absolutely loved working for the Econo Lodge in Rawlins Wyoming. Amazing work environment they treat their employees with respect and it really felt like a family working there. This was by far the best company and job i ve ever worked for. Fantastic management and very convenient location. Safe place for all the guests and employees where it really makes you feel at home. Friendly coworkers. Over the 3 years i ve worked for them i ve developed so many great skills that benefitted me in the long run such as strong communication skills and hospitality. They re always going above and beyond for their guests there wasn t ever many problems working for them and when there was it was always handled. There s a restaurant, bar, and salon in the hotel which is a plus super convenient! Marie is such a sweetheart in the beauty shop very talented at what she does I highly recommend staying here. One of my favorite things was the lobby it has a nice fireplace to keep you warm in the winter and it s very a comforting laid back environment. Not to mention the beautiful outside pool in the summertime. Grocery store right behind hotel for your convenience. Pet friendly hotel. Comfy beds. Fair prices. Employees that prioritize their guests. Whats not to love about this location.

Accommodating Staff. Appreciated their help and support during this time. Getting Snowed in is not fun. The Econo Lodge was great. Getting into our warm and clean room was so welcoming. The Hot drinks were offered and delicious. Thank you! Rooms: Clean and welcoming.

Very dirty, but our room didn't stink at all. I don't recommend taking off your socks or touching the walls by the bed.I stayed while traveling for work because the nicer places were over $200 a night. They allow pets which is convenient for us. I scheduled through a third party online, but all my info was not transferred to the hotel. Luckily they had rooms when I showed up.We slept pretty good. Was not too noisy. This hotel is mostly full of workers from out of town. People seem responsible.

Highlights: filthy floor, poor maintenance, and no hot breakfast. It was evident that the room hadn t been deep cleaned in some time. The carpet was sticky and left us all with dirty feet. My crawling infant got hives on his legs from it. The room had evidence of mold in the bathroom and nicotine stains on the door. The room was a mix of vintage and renovated. For instance, the shower tile looked modern, but the knobs and shower head were old. There was a random old light in the ceiling that had no purpose. The toilet paper holder had broken off and wasn t replaced. The main office looked nice, but then you walk down some stairs and you enter a rundown motel. Also, there was no hot breakfast. It was a breakfast bar, apple juice, and peaches. Potentially there were a finite amount of them as even 30 min later, there weren t any on the counter. With littles, it was unsuitable, so we had to get breakfast elsewhere. With the amount of money we spent elsewhere for breakfast, it would have been comparable to more expensive hotels in the area. We will go somewhere else next time as we were practically running to get out of this one.

The place is run down. The shower was weird, and didn't have enough of a barrier to keep the water from flowing on to the floor. And the free breakfast? A paper bag with a tiny cup of juice, a mandarin orange cup, and a Cinnamon Toast Crunch bar. It's nice of them to provide that, but hardly merits listing this as a hotel with free breakfast....

We stayed here on a 2 week road trip mid-July '23. We are partial to Choice Hotels and used them for more than 50% of our trip. This was by far the worst of all our stays. There was no real breakfast service: brown bag with muffin, orange juice and applesauce. Had to stop for real breakfast at the Golden Arches. The pool was open, but the water was so cloudy you couldn't see the bottom. The halls smelled awful, like old frying oil. We had 2 rooms - one smelled clean and ok, the other smelled like strong cleaning solutions and cheap air freshener. This place is old and rundown. There are no USB ports. Guy at the counter was pleasant enough, and the hotel worked as this was just a stop-over night to break up a 12-hour drive. The beds were comfortable and the a/c worked, and at least there weren't any bedbugs. There was a vending machine for snacks, which is becoming less common. This wasn't great but could have been worse, and was one of the most affordable stays - but wish we could have stayed at the other Choice hotel down the road. Would probably not stay again. I understand this is an "Econo" lodge, but econo should not equal smelly.

I saw plenty of bad reviews, but was only concerned about a pool for my kids to use while we were there. Supposedly they lost the keys to the pool and then said they couldn't treat it so even if they found the keys we couldn't swim. What kind of hotel 1st loses a key and second can't treat the pool? Do not know why they do not want people to swim but I think this is a "staff" issue. In other regards, the room smelled like they sprayed a sickly sweet air freshner. I had the sliding door to the outside open for over an hour and the smell was still overwhelming. The pillows are extremely small and there are no usb plug-ins.Definitely choose somewhere else to stay!

In some ways typical Econo Lodge. Price was okay. Gal at front desk was nice.Room was nice for an Econo Lodge. Mattress and pillows were only okay.I'd stay again when trying to save money. Hotel prices are out of control. I prefer other Choice Hotels chains.

Cigarette holes in the covers. Wrinkled sheets that smell strongly of cheap cologne. The shower head sprayed water all over the bathroom. 3 pillows on each bed that were absolutely tiny. There was blood on the hair dryer and hair all in the bathroom. Only one working outlet. The free breakfast was in a brown sack on the unmanned counter of the front desk. Tried calling the front desk several times and haven't seen anyone there since 9pm.

You get what you pay for. We usually stay at Hilton or Marriott but we are moving and needed a place that would take 3 pets who were moving with us. We didn t know it would be this horrible. It looks pleasing on the outside but the inside is run down, unclean, and smells. We walked into our room to experience walls of blood, crayon, dirt, and peeling paint. Our bathroom wasn t much better. The drain was rotted out so you could see straight down the drain pipe. Ceilings looked as if they were from my great grandmothers house. They were over painted and sinking, especially in the shower. The ceiling almost fell on my daughter as she showered and she had to push it back up into place. The place looked like it needed serious cosmetic repairs and people that could actually clean. The beds were made and they seemed clean, the floors we did not want to touch because you can tell the edges has never seen a vacuum and the door in between our connecting rooms was very dirty and maybe hadn t been used in months. The pool was not open or filled. Next time I will pay the extra $75 per pet to stay at the Hilton or Marriott. Don t make the same mistake I did. We were so tired from traveling and lack of sleep we didn t want to mess with it and made the best of it. The price is super low for a reason.

They were able to get us in early and that was awesome after having driven for 13 hours, and not having to wait a few more hours until check in time. The people are super nice and helpful. The rooms are ok. Kind of dated. The bed was super comfortable, and the fact that it had a fridge and microwave was a definite plus. The doors leading in from the parking lot I don't think we're locked at all, and they swing shut so quickly I hurt myself twice trying to get luggage through. The bathroom was an adventure. Small, but not terrible. The shower though was definitely kind of frankensteined together. Water pressure was great, but the shower curtain needed a liner because the water sprayed through it, the tub took forever to drain (so you are showering in 3 inches of water). Just stuff like that. But not a bad way to get a good night's sleep!

I'm very appreciative of the front end clerk, she was empathetic and understanding. Since I was traveling for business, she gave me a discounted rate! Also when someone was loud next door, she moved me to a more quiet room.I appreciate the maintenance, as he helped snowplow my SUV--and other cars in the parking lot! He even helped push me out, which I certainly appreciated! The blizzard was horrible, but the staff from the front end to maintenance MADE MY STAY VERY PLEASANT FOR THE THREE DAYS! Thank you!!!!

Average, old but clean. If you need a bed to crash in and a hot shower while hunting it s good. Booked on Priceline with continental breakfast . A granola bar, apple sauce, and apple juice in a sack isn t continental breakfast. Fitness room isn t open either.Front desk was nice and friendly.

The girl on reception this morning. I asked for two breakfast.. she was so miserable (a smile would have been nice) as for the breakfast..I guess you get what you pay for !! The pool not open..could have done repairs off season. As for the bar staff...check your change before you leave the bar. Short changed by 20 dollars by little woman with lots of black hair. Be aware . Be very aware. I didn't notice till after I had left the building. Apart from that ..the rooms were adequate.

Room was clean and decently nice for the price. We had no complaints and didn't smell any smoke like some of the other reviews talk about. We were on the first floor. Only complaint was all the ice machines were broken, no ice in the building, we asked. The personnel were very nice.

I was pleasantly delighted by my stay at this hotel. Despite showing up at 3:00 a.m. on a Saturday morning, I was treated with the utmost respect by the front desk gentleman. After getting a bad night's sleep, not the hotels fault, I dealt with a new front desk person. She was polite, courteous, and quick at extending my stay one more night. When I checked out at 5:00 a.m., Monday morning, Labor Day, I was again treated with the utmost respect by a simply delightful and polite front desk person.Despite being such a bargain, the hotel was clean, and I spotted no issues in my room. The customer service was world class which is important to somebody like me who is traveling cross country by car.

As a CDT hiker I spent 3 nights here. It is all outdated but there is a laundry, a swimming pool and everything that should be present in a hotel room is present. My compliments to the staff. During the telephone reservation I received fantastic help and further questions were answered neatly. It was well worth the price. There is a large supermarket right next to the hotel.
