So my boyfriend took his truck to these wannabe mechanics, they were supposed to run diagnostics to figure out why his truck was overheating. Instead of taking the time to actually diagnose it they told my boyfriend that his thermostat must be bad. They changed it and ended up putting a faulty one in. Upon return it was still overheating so he took it back to them. Again, rather than take the time to properly diagnose it, they told him he must have a bad head gasket or crack in a casing. Informed him they don't repair headgaskets, only replace the engine. Upon being informed it may be up to a $10,000 issue (they couldn't even say for sure if that's what it was, they just assumed) my boyfriend took his truck for a second opinion at a mechanic im Big Piney name Gary Worwood at Poor Boys Garage. He ran a new diagnostic on it and established that it was neither a head gasket, nor a crack. All it was was the faulty thermostat they put in and the coolant temperature sensor. He diagnosed it in half a day and worked with us to clear up the issues at hand. Performqnce Tech charged him $206 for nothing. They took money that was not earned due to the complete lack of regard for their customers. You guys are serving a small community. A community that watches out for each other. Quit taking advantage of these people or you're going to end up out of business.

Had A/C work done on my Rolls-Royce...not finished yet as waited for a part, but car was there from 8am to 5:30pm..still needs to go back to finish job.

We had just arrived in town for the week when we discovered we needed a new tire. Performance Tech got us in and out quickly so we could continue on with our vacation. Friendly and professional, great to work with. Their showroom area was nice, the waiting area was comfortable with vending machines and the restroom was clean. Definitely would go back.

These guys fixed my raft trailer and did some maintenance on the hubs and bearings. Great service and good people. They were honest and clearly explained what my trailer would need and cost. I would highly recommend these guys if you're in Pinedale and need auto work. They have a lot of mechanics but they are also popular with the locals so make sure to call ahead if you need something done immediately. They will do their best to accommodate. They got us back and the road and although I hope we never have to go back if we need services in they're area we will without choose Performance Tech Llc.

Performance Tech were a huge help when I got a flat tire while passing through town. They went above and beyond to help me get back on the road quickly. Very kind and professional service and made a stressful experience way less stressful. Would highly recommend!

I have used them in the past for oil changes and vehicle maintenance and they always do a great job! I recently took my 2011 GMC truck in for what I thought was a slow leak in rf tire.They worked me in after checking tires found no issues replaced the valve stem at no charge. They are great. Overall, my experience with Performance Tech was phenomenal. They ended up changing out my entire transmission system on my 2008 FJ cruiser in a 7 day turnaround. No issues, very professional customer service, would recommend.

My wife and I were on a road trip to Yellowstone and had an engine light issue. We stopped with no notice and received timely service. He refused payment and was very helpful answering our questions and assessing our car. I would absolutely come back. Very friendly staff.

Performance Tech is professional, courteous, efficient, and high quality. Performance Tech installed new tires on my RAM 3500, new tires on my CM gooseneck livestock trailer, and has already rotated the tires on my RAM. Awesome service! We had a tire wearing badly while towing our trailer from NC to Yellowstone. Stopped in on a whim and it turned out all four tires on our tow vehicle were badly worn. These folks gave us a great deal on four new tires, balance, etc and had the work done in less than 90 minutes. Great job!

My 2005 Dodge Dakota has been having major problems for a while, but I wasn't able to fix it until I got my tax refund. I drive back and forth to Jackson everyday, so my vehicle gets a lot of wear and tear on it, unfortunately. I had brought my truck to the mopar center in the past, only to sit and wait for four hours for a small temporary fix, so I decided to look around a little bit more. We found these guys and gave them a call. I explained my truck's many symptoms and sounds (including major issues with the 4WD) and Ryan seemed to know what they were over the phone. I dropped it off at 8am and received a call with a full estimate by 10:30am. I knew there was going to be a lot wrong with it, so I was expecting a big bill. It of course was, but he worked with me to address the most important things first, then to make a list of the things that needed to be addressed over time, with an estimate and in what order they should be addressed. One of the biggest things on that list was replacing the drive shaft, which was the most expensive fix, and he said it should be fixed first, but when I told him I wouldn't be able to afford it anytime soon, he removed the part that was causing the issues and said that it still needed to be addressed, but as long as I didn't need to use the 4WD, I would be fine, giving me the next 6-7 months to save up for it and address the smaller repairs first. He really took the time to work with me and my budget, and was extremely kind, and didn't charge me extra labor for my horribly rusty underneath that they had to deal with, which stalled them and put them behind schedule, which I fully expected. I will be returning to them over the course of the summer to finish up my repairs, and for other routine maintenance, such as breaks, oils changes, and alignments. I'm always very wary about moving to a new place and finding a new, honest, accommodating mechanic, but these guys are it!

Had a check engine indicator light while traveling and owners manual said take to dealership immediately. Took to Performance Tech and they promptly diagnosed the problem as a minor fault due to fuel or fuel cap. Reset codes and assured me that nothing serious was wrong with truck. I was able to continue traveling without worrying about being stranded. They even refused payment for this service. It s rare to find a business that doesn t take advantage of out of towners in a situation like that!

Thanks to the nice staff, real helpful. I had them order in 5 tires and a leveling kit, they got them in the next day and installed the day after they also did an alignment on my truck. Great price and prompt service.

My car wouldn't shift on the highway near Pinedale WY and so I coasted to a stop and had it towed to this shop. I had been searching internet forums trying to figure out why my Subaru wouldn't shift and I found that people had problems with the fluid in the clutch. I called and asked Performance Tech to check the clutch fluid before they got too deep into my car. They were booked a week out and instead of doing what I suggested, nine days later, they took the liberty of draining my transmission fluid and charged me for a hour of labor. I got a phone call and the mechanic quoted me $6500.00 for a new transmission! (a manual Subaru transmission) I laughed, commissioned a truck/trailer and drove 300 miles to pick up my Subaru. They parked my car pointed down hill pinned between to big trucks, making it very difficult to get onto the tailor with a come-along. I got it home and my uncle filled up the trans fluid and topped off the clutch fluid. It drives perfectly now, just needed a little clutch fluid! This shop will con you out of your money, pay the extra towing fee to get it far far away from this scum.

I have been going to Performance Tech since I moved to Pinedale 7years ago. I'm 68 years old & have been in the construction business my entire life. This company is at the top of my list I feel fortunate they are in Pinedale. Honesty integraty efficiency they have it all. Everyone there is helpful , knowledgeable, & informative. They educate you so you can stay on the road.

You charged me $100 per hour to replace a serp belt that was not the initial purpose of my visit.Your clerk would not tell me the final cost until the service was finished.I'm a female, not stupid. The only reason I paid that price was because you still had my car keys.You spent 5 minutes, charged me 30 minutes, and priced your work as if it were a Ferrari.I drive a Buick nearly as old as me.Go rip off a snowbunny, not your local working class kids.

The owner and staff really came through for me. I was. Stuck on the side of the road at 6 o'clock on Friday the owner answered and waited for me to arrive to buy a tire get it balanced and he gave me a super fair price and I couldn't be happier
