Great location if you want access to the Tetons and south Yellowstone, but not able to find a spot in either NP.Beyond that, it's pretty basic. Full hook-ups, but no wifi. Not sure about all sites, but the east location, site numbers above 100, were very rough and difficult to walk on for someone with stability issues.(Visualize cattle/horse pasture with gravel driveways for access and RV parking. Site driveways are centered in the sites, which really limits the activity space on the right side of the RV. Honestly, the site RV parking spot should be 4-5' left of where it is, closer to the utility hook-ups. Thus, giving more usable space for the picnic table and fire pit.Staff we encountered were approachable and accommodating.

Staff is beyond rude, it s way over priced, and the sprinklers will come on and soak you and all of your stuff when you re outside enjoying the afternoon. Staff doesn t care and will refuse to turn the water off. They were literally inside drinking at the bar and shrugged their shoulders and said that s a maintenance issue. Then they will yell at you in front of your children for burning their grass with the fire pit when you place the fire pit where the grass is already brown from the previous campers. When we arrived the person at the desk gave the fire pit to my husband and said to take it himself to save the staff some time. Not sure why they needed more time? The place is a dump and there were hardly any campers there at the time. If they re so particular about where the fire pit goes maybe they should place it themselves. The spots are small so I m not even sure why they would offer a fire pit because there is no where else to put it unless you put it in the middle of the road. My husband told them the grass was already brown and they called us liars and kicked us out on our last night 4 hours before we re supposed to be dressed and ready for family pictures for our 10 year anniversary. We just spent 3 weeks on the road and stayed at some incredible campgrounds that were so kid friendly, polite and helpful and this place wasn t one of them. Needless to say I won t be back.

We recently stayed a week at this location. We had a large group with us, 8 other RV's traveling and staff was very accommodating. RV park is very typical for small, family run facility, not your KOA. We had poor weather during our stay and it rained for a few days. The staff was very nice and allowed us to use their bar area to hold a group potluck/birthday dinner for our large group of 20+. Views from the park are outstanding as is proximity to the entrance of the Grand Tetons. Park is small and no dog park but otherwise we would visit again.

Stayed for a couple days in Aug 2023. Michael was super helpful as I was planning the trip over the phone. Great location if you are visiting Grand Teton's or Yellowstone. Having gas pumps, propane and a convenience store on sight is super convenient. The gas pumps are even open 24 hours so you can gas up in the early morning before leaving for the day. Not many gas options in Tetons or Yellowstone, so you will appreciate this. You can see the Teton's from the campground by the way. Facilities are clean and close by. Highly recommended...

Came here in 45ft Prevost Marathon Coach with towed total 71ft. Didn't have a large pull through had to disconnect car and park in overflow lot. Very quiet and close to Yellowstone. The in-house Bar was nice after all day at Yellowstone. All team members I interacted with were professional and friendly.

There is a reason this campsite has a lot of availability when there is none at any other site in the area. If you're desperate, I recommend boondocking in the National Forest a few miles up the road.I made a mistake in booking and accidentally added two nights. When I tried to change my reservation from 6 nights to 4, I was told the policy was no changes if within 7 days of the start of the booking, no exceptions. They said this was a privately owned RV campsite and it is the owner's policy. I tried escalating my request on their website, but never heard back. The place had a super weird vibe, the views were blocked by a row of trees, and the campground was mostly empty. We were glad to get out of there. They kept an extra $200, but we'll never stay there again. On a happier note, Grand Teton was amazing and we can't wait to go back to the park!

With the exception of the maintenance worker, the staff appeared more focused on their needs rather than hospitality. Stayed one night before moving across the river to dispersed camping. Their strict no-exchange/return policy in the store wouldn't have seem so extreme except for the compassionless attitude from the clerk/manager. Fuel prices were 25% higher than the nearest service center in the park five minutes away. At least when I overpay at Disney I get a smile and sense that I'm welcome there. Horses in pasture were fun to watch.

Your staff members feel the need to curse at your customers and scream at them, instead of approaching them with authority they should have to explain the rules. Classless. Rude and disrespectful are two words to best described how you ll be treated here. The best thing about your camp site, were the clean bathrooms provided by Mickey and Kris. Recommendation to the public.. Find somewhere closer to Jackson versus driving all the way out of town to be disrespected by a sad individual, who needs to learn a some humbling manners.-The propane people

This is a great campground to visit Bryce and Kodachrome Basin. Amenities are amazing, new and super clean. They have all type of details, including a dog washing station. The views are beautiful, there is a playground for the kids and a lot of horses the kids enjoyed petting. The only thing is the wifi, it does not work well and there is no reception there, good for disconnecting!

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights while visiting Grand Teton NP and we enjoyed our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful especially Mickey and Kris who handled maintenance duties. The sites were gravel but level and relatively close together. The scenery was very nice. The Tetons to the West, mountains to the south and grasslands to the north and east. The parks' best feature is its proximity to Grand Teton NP. You are about ten minutes from the Moran entrance.I only gave the park 4 stars because they had no WiFi. The other utilities are fine. But we survived on our AT&T cell service which worked pretty well. Bottom line though, I would stay here again if visiting the area.

This is the only campground available with full hookups near Teton National Park. The campground has beautiful views of the Teton Range. For some reason, the area of the campground with the nicest and most spacious sites has been permanently closed and sits vacant. The remaining sites are tightly packed narrow sites with no shade. The roads and parking pads are narrow. The area between pads is grass with a nice picnic table and fire pit. The facilities are old. There is a small store, bar and gas station which is nice because the nearest store is 30 miles. There is no WiFi or cell phone service. The price was $97.45 per night.

This RV park is not a resort. But it is a friendly, clean restrooms and close to the Grant Tetons, which is why the price is higher. Yes, they do have a designated fire pit and yes, they don t want out door carpets on the grass. If you can t handle these simple rules, keep driving on to another. We enjoyed our stay and loved how close it was to the Grand Tetons.

What a shame that a beautiful visit to the Tetons was almost ruined by a horrible experience with the staff at this campground. It is a prime location and although the sites are extremely close, it would still be worth the extra expense of staying here if amenities were better ( such a Wifi) and the staff was not abusive.Because there is no trash dump in the area where we were camping, it was necessary to drive to the dumpster by the camp store. When we wenre in our car, to dump our trash, a gentleman who would not give his name, began yelling at my husband that it was not a public dumpster! My 76 year old husband tried to tell him that we were guests and he aggressively demanded what site we were in and why didn t we have a tag.In the excitement of the moment my husband could not pull up the site number, and tried to explain that the front office people had only given him one and told him to put it in the camper, which he did. The man by that point was screaming at him and calling him a liar. So, husband went to the front office and got a tag from them and showed it to him. In the mean time I got out and tried to be nice and say it was unfortunate that there was a misunderstanding, but that there was no need for rudeness. ( I was a teacher it is what I do). He then started yelling at me and telling me that we were the rude ones, he was in the right, and he was going to evict us from his property. We threw our trash away and left for the day.We understand that it could definitely be a problem keeping the general public from using the dumpster. However, there is a way to deal with that problem, and verbally abusing your paying guests ( and there were precious few of them this week), is not the way to fix the problem. We were leaving the next day and took our trash to the dumpster. This same man, came and verbally assaulted my husband. He still refused to give his name and when the parking tag was mentioned he deflected the blame to his front office personnel ( who were very nice, but he way) and said it was not his problem. My husband ( masters degree in administration) told them that if he was really the assistant manager it definitely was his problem. That did not sit well and he kept screaming, told us he was banning us and evicting us from his property. He finally gave us his name and I will be glad to supply it to any administrative staff that wants further details. Banning us is not a problem because unless things improve in the personnel who run this facility we won t be back, and I am pretty sure this will not be a thriving business that anyone would want to visit unless, like us, they did not all of the bad reviews!

I can not say enough great things about this place, so I will try to list as many as possible!1-they have 3 different parks evenly spaced, so that each space has a good bit of room2- they have a gas station, general store and bar with the friendliest and most helpful staff. When we first pulled in we were waved in and greated with a smile3- they have lots of green space for dogs and they water it daily and take AMAZING care of the property4- directly behind the property is a horse ranch. Soooo many beautiful horses that come super close to the fence!!!There are a few need to knows: it is REMOTE: no wifi, no cable, this is a place to just enjoy, build a fire, and chill

Fireside Buffalo Valley RV Park is in the perfect location to Yellowstone and Teton Parks. Given this great location, it's a shame this campground is only utilized as a moneymaker and not also as a memory maker. And yes, a campground can be both. With some of the staff the owner has in place, I'm not sure if the owner is interested in a totally enjoyable camping experience for his customers.Upon our arrival, after driving four days, it felt off someone "showing" us to our sites, giving the fact we had a map and our site number. We followed Chris to our site. After parking, we were instructed to we needed to moved our camper over because our 24-foot motorhome was on the grass. This move placed us maybe 2 or 3 inches over. (Pictures included) We then were told we were not allowed to place a large rug on the grass because it might kill it. And that we would not be allowed to have a fire because it would damage the grass. Let me say here that my husband and I own a campground. I would never put more weight on a blade of grass than I would place over our campers' memories, nor make anyone feel inferior to the grass on our property. Some of the staff, in my opinion, could not care less about your overall experience at this campground. And it's a shame giving the great location that the owner doesn't understand the value in a good experience for his customers. The sites, as mentioned, are extremely close. (Pictures included) But, with Yellowstone and Teton Park so close, spending a lot of time at your sites is not something that a camper would probably choose. And given the fact you don't feel set up, I really didn't feel like I could enjoy the campground and the experience of being in my camper. We also noticed that when one of our traveling friends left their camper that one of the staff came over and walked their site with a note pad checking out his camper and his site. My husband called it an authority problem. I call it a Barney Fife syndrome. Either way, it takes away from this campgrounds experience. Would I recommend this campground? Only if you can not find another place to stay. And the only reason I say this is because of some of the staff members. I have felt more welcome at a Loves Travel center than I did here. Also, if setting up your camp site is something you enjoy. I would call and ask about the ability to place a rug and a firepit on your site. ( Notice the picture of the campsite with the firepit on the gravel beside their truck. In my opinion, it is dangerous. But the only place you can have a firepit at this campground.) Don't take that for granted here. And for goodness sake, make sure your camper wheels are not touching the grass or you will be asked to move it over! My intention here is not to give this campground anything less than a truthful observation. And yes, I have stayed in campgrounds without grass. And I can say in all honesty I have never based my opinion of a campground on the status of their grass!

Stayed 5 nights while visiting Grand Tetons, Jackson, and Yellowstone. Nice view of the Tetons on the side, beautiful sunsets. Comfy campground. Friendly staff in the office, pool table and small bar a plus. Laundry looked almost brand new! Story time weeknights at 8, the guy was awesome, kids wanted to go back every night. We stayed in the middle back loop. Spaces are tight and short, but we didn t spend much time at the campground to worry enough about it. Mosquitoes were pretty bad in the evenings but nothing a little bug spray doesn t fix. Would stay again, thanks for having us!

This RV parking lot is in a great location for visiting Grand Tetons and Yellowstone National Parks. The staff is friendly and welcoming as they should be for the extreme price they charge. The spaces are tight, with barely room for awnings, power, water and sewer worked perfectly. Would stay here again only in a pinch.

We had an excellent stay at Fireside Buffalo RV park! It was very quiet and had beautiful views of the Tetons and a lovely horse ranch across the street. The full hookups were new and conveniently located and our spot was level and private. The staff were extremely nice and accommodating. This park is located near the Tetons and it s an easy drive to the Moran main entrance I would definitely stay here again.

So glad to have found this place! Since our Yellowstone trip was cancelled, we re-routed to visit the Grand Tetons, driving up from Jackson. Staff was awesome, welcoming and helpful! Nice quiet site, met some other nice traveling folks and enjoyed the beautiful scenery with horses nearby and snow capped mountains. Will be back if we're ever in the area again - great location to the Tetons!

This place is great! Its nice and secluded so makes for a perfect getaway. The service is spotty and the wifi isn't great but I didn't come to Wyoming to use my phone so it was perfect. The staff is great and knowledgeable about the area and the bar is the bomb. The bathrooms are probably the cleanest RV park bathrooms you'll ever see and the laundry room has been recently upgraded with new machines. We had a great time here and I personally think a lot of negative reviews should be taken with a grain of salt: mosquitoes are literally only controlled by the bats and the lack of cell service and wifi are quite frankly a godsend. Thanks, Fireside!

The only reason for the 4 stars is that our site was not perfectly level. Needed one block on one side of 30 foot travel trailer. Beautiful rustic part with a grand view of the Tetons as you drive out. Lush green spaces between sites. Awesome staff that found a way to accommodate our week early arrival! Love the wet bar game area of this resort. Very clean and well maintained. (They are I the process of leveling sights.) Have the laundry room all to my self and with 5 washers and 4 dryers I do not anticipate any availability issues for our month stay. Water is perfect. We do not smell any sulfur as mentioned in a previous post. Quiet nights. Even tent campers were in bed early. Easy access and easy parking. Can't say enough. We will be back!

Fireside gives you a beautiful view of the Tetons and the stars at night. Full hook ups, friendly staff, a good general store, gas station, and right by a horse ranch (the dogs loved that). The sites are just gravel but overall pretty level. I would recommend staying here and we will be back to visit this site when we come back to visit.

the staff was very nice and it has a great location. However, for the price you are jammed in, almost no cell service, no wi-fi or cable options, and the sites were uneven, muddy and tight. when cooking our dinner we were just a few feet from our neighbor's sewer line - yuck! for the middle of wyoming and for the prices charged, the sites should have been twice the size. No trees, and it appeared they had just redone the sewer lines, so we were told not to put out a rug so they could try to grow grass. We did meet some super nice people staying there which really helped to overlook the sewer line we had to put our picnic table over top of. Try to find another place to stay if you want any privacy at all. Oh, and the fire pit was placed such that if anyone had tried to use it, our camper was going up in flames. Thankfully our neighbors never tried to use theirs. Depending on the site, you may have a nice view of tetons. Fairly loud noise from the road. They do have a bar, which actually looked ok, . . . the locals called it the "gas station bar", which is very accurate.

The positive is that it was a place to park the camper for a few nights. The staff was friendly. The views are great. The not so great. Super dusty. Basically a gravel parking lot with RV hook ups. The store was out of ice. In general the campground seemed pretty run down and not in very good condition.

We were disappointed with the campsite. There was a restroom centrally located to all the campers/rvs but it was closed and obviously had been for some time. We had a long walk to the one restroom available which was always clean but had tiny shower stalls and smelly shower curtains. I know it was clean bc they always wanted to clean at peak usage time! It was a 3 hour drive to northern Yellowstone from the campsite. There was a laundry which was very nice and had great showers, but it was an even longer walk, more than 5 minutes. No shade at all. No place to wash dishes. Free ice! There was nothing closer to Yellowstone or we wouldn t have stayed here.

Not so friendly clerk but the place looked cool (hence the four star). We did not camp here my rating is based on stopping in to get gas, coffee and using the restrooms, etc. Very clean and industrial. They have a nice coffee area, bar and pool table. There also have souvenirs- bonus!
