Our diesel broke down while driving through Wyoming. Had it towed to Rees auto and they were able to work us in and get it up and running the next afternoon.Had another issue the following day and even though they were closed, the owner came out to have a look and help it get us back on the road ! Above and beyond great service!! Thank you!

We were on a cross country trip from oregon to Indiana when our battery light came on and our car died. We got stranded in the middle of nowhere Wyoming and luckily we were just 2 miles from this shop. We showed up to Rees Auto at 8am monday morning without an appointment or phone call prior to us coming in. They got us in right away and even went out of their way to get us the part we needed. We were back on the road within 2 hours. They were all super nice. They let us bring our dog in the waiting area with us and relax while they worked on our car. The lady at the front desk was super sweet and gave our dog some water and let my kids play with the model cars they had on display. If I was local this would be the only shop I would go to. They are trust worthy as they dont go looking for other problems to try and rack up your bill. We made it safely to indiana thanks to them.

Got a low tire warning and drove quickly here. They were so nice - patched the tire and sent me on my way. Helped my dog and I feel right at home too. Great people

I had a brake job done at brakes+ in Colorado Springs $800. My caliper completely feel off on the highway. I brought it to Rees auto service at 8 am with no appointment and they were awesome got me right in and fixed it with no problems. Customer service here is A+++ what a hidden gem. Local people helping the community at a great price. Thank you soo much. Plus the dog Willey is awesome to pass the time. Thank you Rees auto!!!

Lyman, WY the people are great!! The KOA campgrounds lady recommended Rees Auto Service (RAS) to tow our broken utility trailer to. We got an estimate for repairs that was reasonable but we decided to get a new trailer. Dakota, the lady in the office was nice and helpful. She said Brad's Towing had a forklift to load our trailer. Colton drilled the holes for the weight distribution arm brackets and installed them. You could not ask for nicer and more competent people!

While traveling South for the winter our truck broke down on I-80 just west of Lyman, Wyoming. We were towed back to Rees Auto service for diagnostic service and repair. I found this company to be outstanding! The owner Mr. Reese worked our truck into his already busy schedule, kept us informed of the diagnosis, cost of repairs and estimated time. The part needed was unavailable until the nest day. When I inquired about a motel close he made it possible for us to spend the night in our truck camper inside his shop. The part was there the next morning and her personally installed it. The cost was even somewhat less the the original quote. We were on the road again by around 10 o clock. The service was great. I will also mention that the staff was courteous, friendly and very helpful. The relationship between the boss and staff was more like friendships than boss employee. If I lived in the area Rees Auto Service would definitely be my auto mechanic!

My daughter and I were driving from Texas to Washington when our truck started smoking and smelling like burned oil. They were down 3 techs and already had big jobs going on, yet they took the time to look at it & fix us up enough to get to Washington. They were extremely friendly and helpful. We are so appreciative of their time and work. If you ever have issues on the road, definitely come here!!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Reese is a great place for auto repairs. They can do it all. Doug is great, takes time to explain things and makes sure you understand the ins and outs of your repairs. I recently had a motor replacement which required building the engine first and they worked directly with the company to ensure all the parts were included and correct. They have been fabulous with follow up oil changes and even my anxiety about things I thought were wrong when they werent. They have been the driving force in getting my 22 year old jeep in tip top condition and driving like it brand new again.

I was driving through and had a turbo issue with my F250. I get the vehicle to a TA and they recommend Rees Auto Service since it was more complex. I arrived and they immediately took me in, showed me the problem and fixed the truck in great time!I also had them check out the AC since it wasn t blowing cold and again, they quickly diagnosed the issue, unfortunately they couldn t get the part until the next day. I was restricted on time and couldn t wait. The amazing mechanic came up with a solution that would get me to Florida.I highly recommend this shop

Rees's Auto Service is really professional. The workmanship, combined with their fair pricing and timeliness give this shop 5/5 stars. We've had tires put the vehicle here. brake work, steering work and oil changes here. We live in Lyman and have had tremendous success with the three vehicles we own. My husband, our dog, and I (from Wisconsin) were on a trip out West when the fuel pump in our '94 van died on I-80. We were towed to Rees and they IMMEDIATELY started working on it, knowing we were from out of town and anxious to continue our trip. Even though they ran into problems with it being an older vehicle, they managed to get it fixed and running better than ever. We were more than pleased with how courteous they were, and the level of care that was shown to our old van, making sure she was fixed just right. They totally and completely went above and beyond, and didn't charge near what we thought it would cost. Thank you again for your remarkable service! Special shout out to Brody - you saved our trip :^)

Great honest group of folks. I was stranded with poor tires and slick roads and they gave me good advice, a dry warm front office to wait in until the van rental agency came through with a good solution. Thanks a bunch for making a scary situation into a warm and caring time for me. You are good people!

Thank you to Rees Auto Service!!! My daughter and I were on our way to Laramie for homecoming and the water pump went out in my truck coming over the sisters. They took us in and got us back on the road in a couple hours!! Another roadtrip saved!!! Thank you!!! Rees Auto is the best around!!! Great service and great work!!!! We broke down in the middle of the night and Skip at Rees happened to drive by. He offered to help, but we already had a tow truck on the way. He mentioned that he worked at Rees and that we could tow it there to get it worked on. Despite having tons of cars to work on, they were able to fix it in an hour and gave us a fair price even though they knew we were desperate and would have paid anything.Everyone there was extremely friendly and helpful. We re very lucky to have broken down where we did!

After sleeping in my car on I-80 because my alternator had fried my battery I knew I needed to find a reliable auto shop and fast. I found these guys on the internet and it looked like the closest one to where I needed to go. I had my car towed there and they let me know shortly after what needed to be done. They had to drive an hour out to get an alternator and once they had it, they put it in very quickly and had me on my way. They took me to get some food because obviously I couldn't drive my car and even called me the next day to make sure I made it home because I was driving across the country. These are good people and do great work! Thank again for the excellent service!

We were traveling through and had unexpected car trouble. They were clearly very busy, but Doug found a way to fit us in. His team diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly. Highly, highly recommend.

My truck broke down at the rest stop. I called and they sent over a mechanic to make sure my truck was fine to drive to their shop. I drove it down, they found the problem and fixed it at a great price, and even offered one of their vehicles to me to borrow while mine was being repaired! 10/10 great service!!!!!

Our RV vacation was at a halt, stranded with a tire split situation. So relieved we found this place. Extremely helpful getting us safely back on the road. Excellent service.

Always had a excuse to delay work time. Spoke to numerous other people with vehicles currently or previously at this shop and had same issues. They avoid all communication after the first couple attempt! Bad customer service will not keep you up on what s being done even after you give them a price that you have to stay within even after you stress to them that anything over a certain amount needs to be discussed and communicated before you can stretch your budget. Multiple times once the work they finished was done I had problems again after the last time I went to another mechanic who showed me the low quality work they did stating it was thrown together but done improperly. Probably just to get the job done. Talked to owner about issue and was just dismissed. Would recommend going elsewhere or make sure you keep communication daily and follow up with another mechanic to go over their work!

They fixed the gas leak on the fuel rail which was why I took it to them. They then took it on themselves to replace the airfilter and fuel filter which doubled the cost for parts and labor. I personally had checked the airfilter 3 months ago and I had not had any problems with the fuel filter. I feel ANY additional parts and work should have been discussed first.

Our truck stopped near Lyman exit and Doug stopped to check it out. He figured the engine would need to be replaced/rebuilt. So far good experience with Rees Auto Service.

They have some weird cazll blocking on their phone where you follow the instructions and it hangs up on you so if they want business they're not going to get business
