I really like this place and service when you actually can take your car there. The employees are nice and knowgeable enough to take care of your basic needs. I personally like the quality of service and products like the car batteries and tires for my car. In my opinion, they need to either hire more employees or extend the hours because sometimes it is almost impossible to have an appointment when you can make it or need it. The place is clean, and it has an area where you can sit. Overall it is a good store.

They are obviously understaffed and really don t pay attention to what they re doing. I got new tires put on and I asked them to rotate out the old tires. I had bought two other new tires afew weeks before and was finally going to have all 4 new tires, but they didn t check which were the new tires and threw them away. Then I had an emergency the other day where I had a flat in their parking lot about an hour before the auto center was supposed to close, and as I explained my situation, the person who answered said yeeeaaaaahhhhh, no. We don t have time to help you. I m not exaggerating, it was just very unprofessional and lacked customer care, which is what this auto center is kinda known for. I won t be bringing my car to them again.

Don t even bother. Are you going here cause it s cheaper? The convenience of shopping while your here? Well I hope you have 4+ hours of shopping to do. We brought our car in and we re given a 2 hour wait. Excessive, but acceptable. We come back, car hasn t been moved. We ask for another estimate. ANOTHER 2.5 HOURS. No update, dishonest estimate, and just another disappointing experience per usual.FYI:Oil changes around the city are the same time, and you get way better service. Save yourself the time and just book with someone else

I made an appointment a week prior it still took over three hours to change my tires. They broke two studs off and couldn't fix them and messed up the order. Would not recommend

Good place to get your oil changed. I go to Subway inside the store and eat while they are changing my oil. Usually, when I'm done eating, they have my truck done

Needed to get snow tires put on. Sat there for 30 minutes waiting to be helped the first time. When I was finally helped, that went smoothly and I asked if they could put the tires back in the sleeves.Came back after they called to tell me two of my tires were over 10 years old, waiting another 20 minutes to be helped again. They finally were going to put the tires on and when they called me to say it was done, I went back over there and waited ANOTHER 20 minutes. They then apparently charged me for tire disposal even though I never asked foe that, tech had to go make sure they didn't actually throw away the other tires, then go through the song and dance of refunding that. Then once I get to the car, find out that no, of course they didn't put the tires in the sleeves, just threw the sleeves haphazardly in the trunk with everything else.Service: Tires

Even with always being understaffed and overworked, the crew is incredibly helpful, friendly, and patient. They re often backed up, but they ll always do what they can to help. The whole auto care team deserves a raise!

Went to get new tires. Suppose to be done 1 1/2 hrs but end up almost 5 hrs. A manager give me 50% discount for staying so long. Really like the discount.

Driving from SLC to Denver on a Sunday. Delayed by a flat tire. Only place open was this Walmart. Raced down. Was told it could be up to a two hour wait. Techs were very friendly and professional. I was on the road with two new tires within an hour. (Flat was not repairable) They definitely saved my rear.

You d think swapping out summer tires to snow tires would be easy not at Walmart. I ve had them try throw my nice tires away instead of just putting back in my car. I ve also had them snap a stud and I had to take my car to another shop to be fixed, and work out some sort of refund.I ve sat in the waiting room for over an hour listening to Ralph and Connie complain about working at Walmart, their raises of $0.30 not being enough, not getting all the hours they want Their computer system never works, the employees at the front desk are not professional, friendly, and act like you re twisting their arm just to schedule an appointment. Severely disappointing service overall.Service: Tires

I went there at seven am as I was passing through the previous night and got a bubble in my tire and had to stay at the hotel nearby they did not open till 8 am even though it was listed at 7. Then it took them nearly two hours to replace the back two tires. I had to make a scene and say I'm leaving now in order for them to rush at the end of it. They also said they would not skip me but got four tires changed with all of the techs as my truck was sitting there. I tried asking for the store manager and they denied me any access to speak to them. I was about to go out there and put my truck on the ground and just drive off. But they finally started to hurry. I have a family where' my grandma is passing away and was in a huge urgency the whole time I was there. This has been a completely difficult experience and none seemed to care.

My sister had a flat and we went to see if they could fix the tire. They were unable to because of side wall damage. She had to buy 4 new tires (they really did need to be replaced) because her car was all wheel drive. It was about $591 for the tires and labor and they had it done in a couple hours. She was happy with the work and the time it took.

Stopped here for a tire repair. Our issue was that one tire kept slowly losing air. We waited 2 1/2 hours to be told by a rude, arrogant man that our valve stem was leaking and that Walmarts policy is that they CANNOT replace/repair a valve stem! The customer in front of us was told the same thing (they were traveling from Kansas). Mind you that we are over 1000 miles away from home traveling and had just purchased this exact tire from another Walmart less than 1 week ago!

I have been going to Walmart for about 5 years for all my tire needs. This Tuesday i went in to replace my front tires. They said it would be no problem but after 4 hours of waiting at Walmart the technicians refused to install my front driver side tire claiming that it was "unsafe." After trying to talk to them for 2 hours they said that all they could do was tow it to a shop. As they were trying to tow it I noticed that the passenger front tire was not spinning at all. We checked that it was in neutral and that the car was out of gear. Even after that the tire would not budge at all. After it was on the trailer my wife and I had to walk to the destination and watch as the tow truck people attempted to take the car off the trailer. The car would not budge because of the passenger wheel. The next day I decided to call the general manager to see what the "technicians" had done to my car. The general manager claims that the technicians did not hurt the car mechanically. I asked him how this was possible considering I drove the car into the shop. They refuse to do anything, or even attempt to do anything. This has been the absolute worst experience I have ever had at a Walmart in my life. I wish I could give negative stars. Now I am stuck with a car that will not move and I now have to figure out what I need to replace in order for the car to run. If you need a mechanic then go find a real mechanic. This place will only do more damage to your car and it's going to cost you more money. So please save yourself the trouble!Service: Tires

If I could give them a zero I would my father called after being stranded on the side of the road between Rawlins and Laramie asking Walmart tire center if they had the correct tire, they did said they would get him right in. My dad shows up and they have him waiting over a hour which we understand if someone came in before him but the worst of it is he was asking if he could get a time frame because his trailer has a family heirloom sitting in this trailer, my dad is just sick to his stomach having it sit on side of I80 and people at Laramie Walmart tire center just tell my dad they can t give him any time frame . 15 minutes or even a hour. All he was asking if he needed to call his family to come help change this tire in the middle of the dark now in Wyoming weather I would NOT recommend Laramie Walmart tire center the customer service is horrible.Service: Tires

Don t waste your time. I took my car in to get 2 new front tires and was told that it would be done that day. I finally went in a week later and picked up my keys. They didn t do anything on my car, so I took it in to Fat Boys. Car was done within an hour.Service: TiresService: Tires

Changing my review the staff in the auto center is very professional and even let me know there was a delay in getting to me. I appreciate them!

I dropped my truck off at 10am for them to repair my spare truck tire and was told it could take 2-3 hours. 3 hours later I still haven t heard from them so I call and they say, it s ready for pickup. I ride my bike back to Walmart for them to tell me There was no flat tire even tho I very specifically told the lady checking me in that it s the spare that s flat located under the truck bed that needs fixed. So, they say they will fix it free of charge. 2 hours later they call me in and say they can t fix it because the exhaust burnt the spare tire sidewall. I look at the side wall of the tire and I m not kidding there was seriously nothing there. They just didn t wanna do the work so used some policy as a cop out. Wasted 6 hours of my day. Not a single apology from any of the workers. Nothing. Worst experience I ve ever had dealing with a business. Also took the same tire to a real tire shop and the mechanic said ya that s just how spares look when they come down from the hanger. Nothing wrong with the tire at all. They just didn t wanna fix it. Tire they wouldn t fix is less than 1 year old.

I hate giving negative reviews but this experience was a disaster. I called first and they told me if I came right now it'd be about 35 minutes for an oil change. By the time I go there, someone was in front of me. So now wait time was an hour. No problem. I had my kids. We can shop.An hour and a half later we came back and the lady who got her car in before me told me her car wasn't done yet. At this point my toddlers are melting down (obviously not Wal Marts fault) but it's time for me me go. It took another 20 minutes just to get someone's attention. Finally I tell the person at the counter that I need to pick up my car. He was like "uh... it's not done." Which I assumed. But I had to go. So I wasted almost 2 hours and got no oil change. The guy at the counter was apologetic and honestly was working really hard to keep everyone happy and things moving.Staffing issues are a problem. I 100% get that and it's definitely not anyone's fault in particular. But if you're in any sort of a time crunch I do not recommend going to Wal Mart until they get a full staff in the auto department.

While traveling I got a flat tire, went in first thing in the morning, told them the situation. Asked them to squeeze me in as it was just one tire to change. They had no sympathy whatsoever. Told me it would be a 4 hour wait and said Also if an oil change comes in they get placed above you.

I normally do not write reviews, but I feel that I should warn my fellow Walmart patrons about their terrible auto service department. It all started when I took my truck in for a simple oil change since I did not have the time and resources to do it myself (I even brought the oil and filter). I arrived to find an empty service counter and it took 10 minutes before an associate noticed my arrival. After I had checked in and was waiting, a technician came out and rudely informed me that I had purchased the wrong oil filter from the auto parts store. I agreed to pay for the right filter and return the wrong one (since they had already drained the old oil), and they got back to work. I then noticed that they were about to put their own oil in my engine instead of the oil I had brought, but they corrected their near mistake upon actually looking at the service order and put in the correct oil. After payment for their services and the filter, I left and discovered they inflated my tires to 50 psi instead of the 43 psi suggested by the manufacturer (no big deal, but they should check the manufacturers lable before inflating). But the real kicker of my visit is when I found a puddle of oil on my driveway the next day. Upon further investigation I discovered that the technicians barely hand tightened the oil filter, so I hand tightened the filter and the leak stopped. Overall, the technicians are not thorough in their duties, their customer service is severely lacking, and I would not advise anyone to come here for even the simplest of services. You are better off doing it yourself or taking it to an certified shop or dealership.

Very friendly staff. Connie was so nice and answered all our questions even though they were short staffed and the phone would not stop ringing.Finished my oil change in good time. About what you would expect from a Walmart auto center.Overall, I will come back next time I need an oil change or a new tire.

Called and they said their wait times are not ba and no need for an appointment. Drive almost 2 hours get there are some little college gum chew girl tells be its an hour wait if I would like to come back. Ok that's fine, had a few other things to do, get back 45 minutes later. An older lady associate tells me it is a 5 hour wait!!! And because I took my vehicle to run my errands i was taken off the list! That would have been good to know before I left. Thankfully a tire shop across town was able to get me in.

Pretty positive they lied about my flat tire not being fixable. Instead of a $15 fix, I was charged $70 for a new tire. I just got the same tire a month before. Also, they never inflate tires to proper PSI.

I saw the 1.4 star review, but... this was the earliest oil change I could find in town.Well... i probably should have waited until 8:00am when a real business opened. The manager left her entire shift unable to work for until an hour after opening while she had the only access code to unlock the shop. She didn't even have the humility to apologize herself and instead left the team to apologize for her.To make things worse they started working on someone's car who just showed up before mine after I had been forced to wait for 45 minutes.Serious lack of leadership and organization here and a serious waste of my time.

I don't like to leave negative reviews because I think everyone deserves a second chance and everyone can have an off day. However, this place has consistently disappointed me and burned all bridges. I would rather drive to another town to have my car serviced, than ever go back to Walmart. The first time we went, they didn't vacuum like they were supposed to, grease the suspension, or even reset the maintenance light. When we brought this up they were rude and wouldn't compensate us at all, even though we had paid for these services. I went by myself the other day because they were the only place open, and I figured, what the heck, I'll give them another chance. Huge mistake! The guy asked me what kind of oil it took and I couldn't remember. He went out and checked and said it only took synthetic. I went along with it because I wasnt sure and didnt want to be a hassle, but I had kind of a weird feeling so I went out to look for myself....the cap said 5w20, nothing about synthetic (I worked at an oil place in high school and I recall there would usually be a warning on the cap if it ONLY took synthetic, but I'm not by any means an expert), and the receipt from last time it had been there said they just put conventional oil in. I felt like he was really dishonest with me so I cancelled the appointment and left. I'm not sure if he was having an off day or was trying to pull the wool over my eyes because he thought I was too dumb to read an oil cap, but I was not very impressed. I ended up taking it to Toyota (where they are amazing) and am now on day two with no car because the oil pan needs to be replaced from last time it was serviced at Walmart. They messed up the threads putting it back together. Walmart also, unsurprisingly, haven't exactly been helpful about paying for the oil pan they ruined. Time will tell how this turns out, but meanwhile I'm short 350 bucks for an oil pan and don't have a vehicle. Awesome.

0/5 if I could. Got there at the listed opening time of 7: very rude lady behind the counter said it wasn t open until 8, and we could wait or get out. There was two people in front of me and she was already estimating a two-three hour wait already. After talking to another customer who was equally upset, she just disappeared into the back and wouldn t come back out to talk to us. Waste of my damn time, rude employees, and you can t even make an appointment to hold a spot.

We brought my car in to fix the tire because several other places were closed. One tire was flat because of a nail. They sold us a new set of tires but refused to change them due to the location of the nail. Stranded in Wyoming trying to find a place near Laramie that can put on tires ..

Laramie Walmart Tire and Lube is a joke. The first day I went in they told me that their equipment to fix tires was broken. The next day I called to see if it was fixed, I ended up sitting on the phone for about twenty minutes while the phone constantly rang and rang and no one in the tire place picked up. So I went to Walmart again to stand in line for 25 minutes for her to tell me that it would be three to three and a half hours for them to even "look" at my tire to tell me if they could do anything. And she didn't even care to apologize for all of my time they had wasted. Don't waste your time, they are not customer oriented at all. I've had great experiences at other Walmart Tire and Lube, but this one was absolutely terrible and disappointing.
