Diesel broke down in the mountains so was towed to Laramie Auto and Diesel Repair by recomendation from Forest Service, Tow Company and random locals. I live 4 hours away so left PU on the lot. They found the problem, kept in contact and ended with a fair price. Can t ask for anything more!

My daughter is a student at the university and when something went wrong with her car, lucked out and called the right place.. We love these guys! Honest and prompt service at a fair price. We feel fortunate to have found such a fine business and whole heartedly recommend them!

Best place in town for all your automotive needs.Honest ,very helpful and explained all things it could be when our car wouldn't start , like an easy fix not horrible like we were thinking. Dave went out of his way to make our experience with them exceptional for our first time ! The car problem was a simple wire issue. These guys know their stuff and looking forward to all our automotive needs at this shop in the future. We will highly recommend them to all our friends and anybody that ask us for mechanic in the area. Thanks again Dave !!

We were in the last 250 miles of an 1800 mile trip and ran into problems. Dave brought us in immediately and had us rolling again in less than 20 minutes. And didn't even charge us a diagnostic fee or emergency service call. Very pleased and would recommend to everyone.

These guys are the best! We were travelling cross country and broke down just outside of Laramie. AAA picked us up and said that Laramie Automotive and Diesel were great guys and would take care of us. They were absolutely right. They diagnosed the problem, ordered the parts, and had it fixed and back on the road within a hour! They knew we were in a bind but still charged us a very fair price on repairs. Honestly, I would pay them more for the level of service they provided.

Thank you Dave and crew at Laramie Automotive & Diesel Repair!!!! We were driving cross country when a warning appeared on our dash that our charging system was failing (our battery was about an hour from loosing its charge completely!) we were just passing threw and went to the first auto shop that came up on google (not Laramie Automotive), who said they didn t have the part in stock and they were too busy to get to us that day. I called 2 other places before I called Dave who told us to come over so he could take a look under the hood. It was 3:30 pm and we were desperate to get the issue fixed and get back on the road. Dave was so great!!! Friendly, thorough with the inspection, super quick ordering and installing the part, and extremely fair pricing! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Thanks again, Dave!

What a outstanding bunch of guys that work there. My family had some mechanical issues on I-80 and we were able to make our way back to there shop around 4:30 PM. They close at 5:00 PM and several of the workers stayed after hours to repair our truck to get us back on the road. We greatly appreciate what you did for us on such sort notice. Truly a wonderful shop and employees. Laramie Automotive and Diesel Repair gets 5 Stars no questions asked!! Love the Wyoming hospitality.Thanks so much you guys!!!

They charged 90 for a truck inspection. After the inspection I found 2 new broken parts on my truck. I then got a second and third opinion on the estimate to fix my truck and both were over $4,000 cheaper than what this place quoted me for.

Took my car into the Laramie Automotive today to get the brakes serviced. They were clearly swamped with work, to top it off I was super tired and stuttering a lot. The mechanic that dealt with me was super patient, was fast and efficient.Also, I don't know what the mechanic did to my car, but it drives better than ever!I'm super impressed with the service I received and will definitely be returning.

Huge Thank you to Jason, Kyle and the crew for helping us out! We wouldn't have made it another 100 miles with the ujoints we had and they stayed after hours to make sure we got back on the road safely! They are great people to be around, friendly, reliable, honest, and they deserve a bigger shop and a long vacation They're sweet as a peach

I play music in a touring band, and when our van broke down last summer making a long drive from Boise to Denver, these guys were there to help us out. They did everything they could to find parts, from calling everywhere in the tri-state area, to finally being able to pull a part from a local salvage yard. They put up with us leaving our vehicle and equipment trailer there for a few days, and had us back on the road as quickly as possible. We will never forget these guys for doing what they did for us, allowing us to finish up the rest of our tour. And the price was more than fair. Awesome dudes. Awesome place. I'm not sure when I'll ever be back that way, but you are all definitely on my Christmas Card List.

Untimely service and very unprofessional. Went in and had to wait 30 minutes before someone showed up at the counter. And then got charged double for what I later found to be a fair price. Do NOT recommend

I was in a bind and needed a part replaced on my truck ASAP. Everyone at Laramie Automotive was fast and efficient, and now my truck is running great! I would highly recommend, they did an excellent job at a fair price. I'll be taking any other vehicles here from now on!

Many thanks to Dave, Jason and Kyle. I was travelling through and broke down 23 miles outside of Laramie. Swamped with work, Dave told me he would stay AFTER HOURS and look at my truck once the wrecker dropped it off. He also offered to come give me a ride if wrecker wouldn't let me ride due to Corona. Not only did he look at if after work, he FIXED it and got me back on the road. Awesome shop, awesome owner! Thanks Dave!

While traveling through Wyoming I broke down west of Laramie. I talked to Landon about getting my f650 repaired asap. he told me they were closed on Saturday but if i could get my truck to him he would come in Saturday morning and repair it. When he found the problem the parts I needed were not available. Someone at the shop had a truck similar to mine. He said he could borrow a part off of it and get me back on the road if i was ok with that. I was trilled at the prospect and had them do it. The price was 1/2 what I was prepared for. If your stranded in Wyoming, give these guys a call. Their great!

Called a week ahead to make appointment. So they were expecting us. They did what we asked, called us to see if we wanted anything else done that they found wrong. They were reasonably priced and did good work. The two guys we had contact with were nice. We would recommend.

Jasen and Dave were great to work with. They were reasonably priced for work that needed done, and when I had an issue that I didn't know the cause of, they took a look at it right away (without an appointment) and fixed it right there. I will definitely be going back for anything else I need done. Thank you!

My box truck broke down while driving through Laramie. Left it with them to fix. Took 3 weeks because they were waiting for parts . When it was ready I took a Greyhound back to Laramie to pick it up. Got 3 miles down the road and had same exact problem. Started running hot and warning lights came on. Thanks a lot!!Went back and their fix was to drain all coolant, remove the thermostats and fill the cooling system with water and say that was all they could do. It ran super cool of course but warning lights came back on and it ran bad. Now of course I need to take it somewhere else right away to get it fixed right!!

In my experience this is one of the best diesel mechanics in town. I am very picky about who I let work on my truck, but never hesitate to take it here. Whether it's a big ticket repair or a standard service, they've been consistently honest, reasonable, and knowledgeable.

My husband and I broke down about 25 miles out of Laramie on our way home from spending Christmas with our daughter s family in Kansas. Jason took us in and Landon worked to get our truck out as soon as possible. We were so grateful for getting us back on the road. We were delayed by this incident which also happened to be our 42nd anniversary. Thanks for repairing on such short notice and also for great customer service.Randy & Debbie Parrish

Dave is the man! Traveling through and lost the turbo in our pickup on a Thursday evening headed to Oklahoma. Dave busted knuckles replacing the turbo and had us back on the road headed home on Saturday. I cant tell you how much he saved us. Top notch work for a good price.

Literally saved our bacon!!! GMC wanted over $2500.00 to put in new DPF filter ( particul) and not until next week. We left Missoula MT and heading to Texas and stiffed on last construction job, money tight! They took us in to try manual Regen, knowing if it worked or not, they were not making much on the sale as it would have to go to GMC if this didn't work. It worked!!! They only charged $20 and had us test drive even without paying to make sure it worked or needed to run another cycle. They reset computer codes and we are on our way!Would have been so easy to brush us off, especially with small sale. You are true heros and need more of you guys in this world! Know I am always paying it forward, will do so in your honor Ria & Will

Very Honest shop, Good Work, Great Customer Service, they even went above and beyond to move our travel trailer to the shop to secure it while our truck was getting serviced. I HIGHLY recommend this shop to anyone and everyone!

Laramie Auto and Diesel have worked on quite a few of my cars over the past five years, they have always been honest and timely. You won't find a better shop in Laramie!
