These guys are awesome. Took my vehicle to a shop across the street for an oil change and they gave me the run around but finally said they couldn t do it due to the oil drain plug being really messed up. Called advanced automotive tech inc and they were extremely helpful. They were able to squeeze us in and it only took them a few minutes to get the plug out. Would highly recommend them if you need work done on your vehicle. They are super friendly and very knowledgeable about what they do!! 10/10 for sure!!

This is a trustworthy shop that does excellent and thorough work. I have had some bad luck with vehicles the last few years and have worked with Leonard and Pat at advanced automotive tech several times. I won't take my car anywhere else.

I really appreciated the time they spent with my college daughter's jeep trying to figure out what was wrong with it and explaining things to her and answering her questions. They have a GREAT diagnostic system/application that includes pictures, so we can tell it was real pics of her jeep, not stock pictures and an explanation of what the problem is and what repair is needed. It was a link that she was able to send to us (out of state) so we could discuss/prioritize what needs to be done. They are a very busy place and it will take some time to get to everything, but so nice to find a place that is not trying to up sale or make up/guess at issues. Our local mechanic (in TX) helped us research and find this place and we are grateful.Service: Auto maintenance

Leonard has been my mechanic for 6 years after I first took my car to the dealership for a problem they were unable to figure out so they outsourced it to him which he figured it out right away.I ve had many different repairs on two different vehicles with normal wear&tear.From as small as oil changes to having to take my transmission out to replace other equipment.I value that they take pictures, give you an estimate, and don t do anything without your approval.Pat is the most friendly front man at an autoshop I ve met.Trenton just did great work on my old SUV,And leonard gave me a vehicle to drive for free while they worked on my car.I trust them that no matter if things go wrong, they have the integrity to make it right and I trust them. My battery gave out during a recent cold snap. Advanced Automotive found a battery for me right away and were able to install it that night. So helpful! I really appreciated the prompt service. They were very professional and helpful. They gave me a ride back home after dropping off my car. They went through each item on the receipt so I knew what my charges were and why. They did not try to do any extra services I didn't ask for. I was also contacted by Leonard a couple days later to make sure everything was working well. Will be going to them from now on.

We are relatively new to town and weren't sure where to take our Mazda for repairs. Went to a local dealership and didn't have a good experience. Called Leonard at Advanced Automotive and immediately knew we were in good hands. They were a little busy, but once we got in, the guys went above and beyond to make sure our car was like new. They even rotated my tires for free. I can't recommend Advanced enough to anyone in SE Wyoming.

Leonard and his crew are amazing! They take the time to explain the issues and what they are going to do. Their prices are fair and they complete the work in a timely fashion. Had front and rear differential fluids changed and transfer case and automatic transmission fluid change. Advanced Automotive scheduled me a day to come by and they performed the fluid change and I picked the car up that day. The price was reasonable and the people working there were super easy to talk to and friendly. I highly recommend this garage.Services: Transmission, General repairs & maintenance

I take both my van and farm truck to Leonard and he always takes care of everything at a good price. He explains everything to me and always gets my vehicles back to me quickly. He keeps my 17 year old farm truck in good running order and my newer Honda Odyssey maintained. I don t take either anywhere else, not even for an oil change. I never feel like he s trying to rip me off or take advantage of my being a woman, which I really appreciate. Had our car in shop for estimate, they gave a detail estimate of issues and cost. Had repairs and maintenance done. No hidden cost or up-sell. Quality work done in a timely manner at a fair price. Would not recommend this shop for anything other than minor repairs. Don t be fooled, most of the five-star reviews here are for very MINOR repairs, like taillight bulbs and A/C recharging.I trusted their diagnosis and ended up owing double what they estimated. Very poor communication (they never mentioned keeping my car for a whole week) and to top it all off, the problem was never fixed.I was hoping to find a dependable local mechanic to bring my vehicles to in the future, but I will never return to this shop.

Advanced Automotive is a phenomenal local Laramie business. Leonard clearly cares about his customers and the well being of their cars. I had a broken taillight and he fixed it quickly and for a very reasonable price. I will always go here for my car's needs! Highly recommend.

Another repair shop in Laramie worked on our car and ended up messing things up. We brought it to Advanced automotive and they fixed it beyond what we thought was possible. I am so ecstatic with My experience here!!!! I had taken my car to C&C automotive prior to no avail. When I took my car in they knew exactly what was wrong and fixed my car promptly!!! I was extremely happy to pay them whatever as at that point my car wasn t fixed for over a month. I was super impressed with the customer service, quality of service and the speed of service!!! I will never bring my car anywhere else ever again!!!

I have had my car serviced here for a while now, and everyone at Advanced Automotive always does an amazing job! My car is older and is running incredibly well. We were on a long roadtrip and our car had some loose pieces on the undercarriage. We needed just a quick fix to get home but everyone else had a huge wait time. These guys were fast, friendly, and honest and didn't even charge us for the few minutes of patching up our car. Thanks for your help!

This shop outright lied about what services I needed. I came here because my car was very loud when idling. They replaced my spark plugs, which seemed to fix that problem, but they also told me that my brakes only had 10% of life left in them and needed immediate attention. I took my car to another shop that told me they have upwards of 50%! Don t fall for their scams!

If you want a company that give you a quote then comes back 2 weeks later to add $3000 this is the place to go. If you want to wonder when your vehicle will be done and have to constantly call, again this is the place for you! If you want to take a vehicle back 5 times for warranty work this. Is. The. Place. For. You.

We were passing through when we lost the carrier bearing on the driveshaft we were able to limp back to Laramie. Called several places in town to see if they could press the bearing on for us but all were a week out. Purchased the part at Napa and on a whim stopped in and Leonard was honest and said he was a week out as well, but since we had the part and the driveshaft was already out he went ahead and said he d do it for us. Had it all done for us within about fourth five mins. Awesome service appreciate all the help for getting us back on the road.

Leonard was so nice!!! My alternator went out. My car sounded so awful and I was afraid that if i drove it any longer, it would completely die. He let me keep my car there while I figured out how I would pay for the fix but as soon as I called him to tell him he could work on it, they got it done in a timely manner. I can honestly say my car has NEVER ran this well. I can honestly say I will be going to them from now on.

My 1998 subaru needed a leak fixed, Advanced fixed that and found some other problems. I agreed to fix them. They did a fine job. Another problem appeared as I picked it up. They fixed it for free. Well done all the way around. My truck died at a gas station and these wonderful people came and jumped my vehicle. Then I drove to their shop where they switched out my battery without having to get out of our truck!!! Talk about customer service!!! We love this place!!!Service: BatteryService: Battery

I'll preface this review with the fact that I generally rely on the other reviews and never post myself. Sometimes you come across service so exceptional you need to get the word out for others in need. We were stranded between Rawlins and Laramie looking for a tow and a place to go for repair. The Ford dealer and other repair shops couldn't get us in. Advanced was also booked solid but Leonard promised to do what he could to help get us back on the road. After a quick diagnosis (throttle body assembly) he had the part ordered to be in first thing in the morn. The next day he recommended a place to grab a bite (Prairie Rose) and by the time we were through with breakfast we received a text letting us know the repair was complete and we were back on the road by 9:15. The repair was perfect, the service was SECOND TO NONE!! Never fun to search out an auto shop, but if you ever find yourself in need, in Laramie....... Give Leonard a buzz.Kevin Holbrook

Awesome, honest shop with fast service! They found a serious problem that Laramie GM and Honda had missed, and fixed it for a good price. I trust these guys and finally can say that I've found a good mechanic in Laramie.

They are very good. He does all makes and ages. Including carbonators. The thing I like is they do a we'll check each time I bring my vehicles in so I know what is aging and that the kids and I are safe with our mechanicals. Highly recommend them!
