Went in for a check-up for a possible electric issue and they did a complete car check-up with no charge and verified that there was no electrical issue. The report was texted to me and updated throughout the day. Very honest and quick with their work.

Double charging inspection fees, returning the car in a worse condition, sending the car to dealer to fix it for them but still charging us for fixing the car, yelling at my partner when they ask why their payment plan isn t covering everything instead of communicating they couldn t help with the outside fees. Would never ever recommend these people, they do not know what they re doing and will over charge you. Just go to the dealership, at least they communicate.

I regret to say that my experience with this establishment was utterly disappointing, and I would strongly advise against patronizing it. If possible, I would rate it zero stars. The proprietor, Randy, is undoubtedly the most disagreeable individual I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. His lack of attention to detail regarding invoices or cases is appalling.Kaitlyn, who initially handled my case, was a beacon of competence amidst the incompetence. She provided thorough explanations of the process, unlike Randy, who consistently appeared uninformed.Despite their assurances, the resolution of my car's issues was anything but satisfactory. After shelling out a significant sum of $1.2K for services including the replacement of the VVT solenoid, axle fitting, and transmission service, the vehicle's performance deteriorated. Remarkably, they now insist on an additional $300-$400 to rectify a supposed crankshaft position sensor issue, which they claim is responsible for the persistence of the original faults. Curiously, all the original error codes persist, illuminating the check engine light as prominently as before. I harbor doubts whether they even bothered to test-drive the vehicle post-repairs or during diagnostics. To compound matters, their diagnosis unearthed an alleged need to replace the right impact sensor at an exorbitant cost of $1.8K. Strangely, this issue never manifested in any diagnostic readings or observations during my interactions. Upon consulting other garages, the prevailing price for such a repair ranges between $300-$400. It appears evident that they are manipulating labor charges arbitrarily to maximize their profits.Additionally, their consistent misspelling of my name and email further exemplifies their incompetence and lack of attention to detail. In conclusion, this establishment operates akin to a den of scammers. Avoid at all costs.

Ashley and Seth were absolutely awesome. I had transmission issues coming from Michigan, and they took great care of me and my Jeep. While doing the work, they identified another issue that could have been a catastrophic issue up in the mountains and took care of it. They explained everything in detail and were super nice. If I lived in the area, I wouldn't take my vehicle anywhere else.

I brought my Chevy Malibu 2015 here and had a used transmission put in, it was cheaper than any other place we got quoted. They got it fairly quick and were extremely helpful during this stressful process. Definitely recommend

This is the best auto shop that I have ever been to and i am up there in age haha, and I have been at many! I drove up here from Tx to visit and on my way my oil light came on. No biggie accept It is a 2004 mercedes which requires a special oil filter & oil of course. Not knowing this I added some regular 10-30 oil and hit the road "not good!" I knew i would have to get it changed. Not knowing this cool town at all I just googled oil change. I contacted 4 different shops and none could come up with one! The wonderful woman at AAMCO called me back in about 10 minutes and had the hookup on filters! I went down of course and I could not be happier. The nice lady in the office " sorry I can't remember your name, getting old lol" to the mechanics in the shop that went over and beyond for me I thank you very much & wish you'all success and good fortune in life. Thank you!

This was the worst experience. Got our vehicle towed there, took 2 1/2 days to look at our vehicle. Did not get an itemized bill and got charged to tow the vehicle into the bay. The guy at the desk had poor attitude. Go somewhere else if you can.

My car died over the weekend during Veterans Day. I got it jump started and Aamco was the only option available. It was a huge mistake taking it there. The person who jump started our car said it was the alternator. I wanted a second opinion and let them run their tests. They did a curtesy check to see if they could find anything wrong. They didn t so they did a more intensive check. It took them 20 minutes to call us back, maybe even shorter amount of time, and say it was done.It cost $171!$171 for 15 minutes of work and tests. On top of this they wanted to charge us upwards of $1000 to replace the alternator. I can find one at O Reilleys for $236 and replace it with a YouTube video and a friend in 30 minutes. Where in the world is the other 764 going?Parts and labor? Parts and labor for a test.If you have a choice never ever go here. Never.

They took excellent care of me and my car.Had called the dealership in Cheyenne and they told me to go ahead and have it done in Laramie instead of driving over the hill. Dealership also told me that the same owner has two shops in Cheyenne and that they have an excellent reputation. Ashley took excellent care of me explained everything ahead of time and the cost. What definitely recommend this shop and any others stores that they own. Thank you for a very smooth transaction.

My car overheated and I took it to AAMCO. Ashlee took care of me emotionally and said "We can take care of it!" She was an outstanding receptionist! She actually knew about cars and was very helpful through this whole process!! Thank you a million times for your attention to my situation and not treating me like a number. In the meantime I had to pay for a rental but not very long, AAMCO was fast and efficient and customer service was outstanding! I even applied for their 6 months no interest credit card to pay for the Radiator! Come to this place they are outstanding! And their prices are affordable! Thank you Guys, "The ole Betsey is back on the road!"

Our experience here as devastating. We knew we were having a transmission issue so we took it right to this place, hoping for a great experience. They asked for a $900 deposit upfront just in case we decided not to do the work to replace the transmission, to cover the cost of labor. We weren t surprised by this because many mechanics do this. However the cost for the transmission ended up being sickening. $8k-$11k depending on what we wanted, for a used transmission. We decided we didn t have money for this and needed time to think. They told us we had to pay another $1,600 for them to put the transmission back in the car!! WHAT?! We said NO, we already paid you $900 for that. They refused to put it back in the car. So we had to tow it out of the parking lot and get the transmission from them, which was in Cheyenne. Then they refused to give us the transmission before we paid another $54 for taxes. Taxes on labor??? That s not a thing!! What crooks. This is insane. How is it even possible these guys aren t in jail by now?Service: Auto engine diagnostic

These guys are awesome! I brought my transmission in to figure out what all was wrong with it. Brought it to them with the T-case still on because it was stuck on and with in a few minutes had it off and we re already getting it loaded up to be torn apart. Got a call a day or so later and told me what the damage was. They have great service and kept me informed through the whole process!

If I could give -2 stars I would! They had my company car for 2 weeks almost. Because it was overheating which I told them. They charged my company upwards of $900 to fix it. I got it back and it was still overheating and so I took it back in and they told me it was an air bubble nope sure the heck was not because it ended up overheating and SMOKING! Do not ever take your car to this place. Especially because the dude that owns it if you are a female will mansplain things and talk down to you like you re insignificant. I would rather have someone watch a YouTube video and fix my car then ever bring my vehicle anywhere near this place!

SCAM ALERT--This business uses manipulative tactics and price gouging against trusting customers. It opened within the last month or two in Laramie, WY (as of May 2023), and so was an unknown as far as its modus operandi. Unfortunately its seems the citizens of Laramie need to avoid dealing with this business. At least one of the 5 star "reviews" appears to be one of the employees. For a more detailed understanding of the fiasco, read on...In short, a couple of close friends brought a vehicle in for diagnosis of a squeak. Aamco suggested they needed to do a "clutch inspection," for which they charge $580(!). This indicates they knew from the get go that the problem was the clutch or closely related. My trusting friend paid the money. They then completely removed the drivelines, the CV axels, the entire exhaust system, the transmission, and the clutch, only to come back and say the problem was the thrust bearing. Then the real dishonesty. First they refuse to replace the thrust bearing and put the thing back together. Instead they quote insane prices to complete a full clutch job+. Just a few examples: they quoted $679.33 for a flywheel (!) which is a $80 part elsewhere, they quoted $691.89 for a clutch kit ($180 elsewhere), $81.80 for stabilizer bar end links EACH ($8/ea elsewhere), $202.67/ea for CV axels ($35/ea elsewhere), and the insanity continues. In total they quote $1914 labor for clutch, CV axels, and stabilizer end links + $2434 for parts(!). I couldn't believe it. They gave us the usual line that they had to use stealership supplied parts, but when I asked for a break down of the at-cost prices for the stealership parts, they balked. Clearly they're wildly marking up the already inflated prices of the stealership parts. $680 for a flywheel! And it gets worse. Apparently, with no previous warning, the "clutch inspection" fee of $580 doesn't include putting the car back together. Normally you'd think a "diagnosis" doesn't mean "disassembled." They wanted another $600 to put the car back into a drivable state. Passive aggressively applying pressure, they took the car off their lift, pushed it into the parking lot with no transmission (with the starter motor just hanging by its wires btw) and proceeded to try to swindle my friends into paying the $600 to put the thing back together, a cost they were never warned about. After doing a bunch of theatrics, including opening the door to the bay and asking the actual mechanics (who he pays $17/hr out of the $145/hr rate he charges) if they'd put the car back together for free, he refused to budge. We ended up having to have the car towed to another shop. Even the tow driver couldn't believe the state they'd left the car in--he had to drag it with his wench onto the two truck because the wheels were not turning and all cockeyed. The simplest explanation for this behavior is that the owner banks on making it so painful for people to go elsewhere, that he can then manipulatively force people into paying insane part costs to pad the $128/hr he makes after he pays his $17/hr mechanics. Getting a tow to a more honest mechanic is obviously an ordeal stacked on top of an ordeal, and he knows this. How he thinks this is the way to do business in a small town where word will get around is beyond me. But we have the receipts for all of this. The tow driver couldn't believe it, and said he was going to do his best not to tow cars there anymore. In summary, avoid this place unless you're an exceptionally savy car person who knows how to navigate dishonest auto shops.Service: Transmission
