We had a situation where our vehicle was over 1500 miles away. I called A-1 and and they took care of everything. From recovering our vehicle to taking it to the auction at a very reasonable price based on other quotes we were given for that area. If we have another chance to use A-1 Recovery & Towing's service, we will gladly put them the first on the list. :)

If I could give zero stars, I would. A1 towed one of my cars. When i tried to recover it the owner was rude, way way overpriced, and only accepted cash. Call someone else. A dispatch out of Cheyenne would be cheaper than an across town tow from A1.

Rental car was repossessed over a misunderstanding, not even an actual lack of payment. Shane proceeded to curse me out, drive off after I told him I needed 5 minutes to get my medications out of the car, then curse me out again when I called in hopes of getting my meds.

12/23 Tried to go for a scenic hike in the mountains NW of Centennial and got stuck in a snow drift on Sand Lake rd. For 4 hrs we tried everything to get unstuck and finally called it quits. A1 was able to help us the next morning and we were out and on our merry way by noon 12/24. Being from out of town on vacation we appreciated the prompt assistance. A1 towed one of my company cars. When we attempted to recover it these guys were rude, grossly overpriced, and only accept cash. Call someone else. BEWARE! Not BBB accredited. My daughter rear ended a jeep with her sisters vintage Ford Mustang. Sounds like a glamorous car but it was a paid off car that needed some work. Only had collision insurance. Unfortunately she couldnt afford repairs to the the front end. It was towed by A1 while we tried to sort out what to do. Then they wouldn t return calls. Three weeks later we were informed that the tow charge was 800 and out of the goodness of his heart he wouldn t charge storage if she d sign the title over and pay 400. DONT use this company. I would never have had this kind of robbery with I-80 towing.Service: Car towing

Incredibly friendly! Was quoted a 20 minute wait to help with a bent trailer and they came in 5. Went above and beyond to make sure that we were back on the road as quickly as possible. They even fixed our trailer load that secured poorly (by guys who charge $25 to load the thing)

I would give them no stars. They are nothing but thieves. I got into an accident they were the ones that showed up and charged me $800 to take my vehicle away from me. I should have realized it more the time that they were screwing me over but I had just got into an accident. I'll admit it at the time I was not all there. They took advantage of that. Took my truck and a good amount of money from me. I would not recommend using these people at all.

Charge way to much for a town in town less then five miles 800 definitely not ok never called me so I had to call the Shariff to find out wear it even was then they didn't answer and when they did the next day they said they would call me back never did had to re call them. Go way above and beyond what is necessary to get the job done I I needed a rental car the local enterprise did not have any but the one in Cheyenne did 50 miles away Dalton had his work worker transport me down to Cheyenne to pick up the rental car. He even called me that night of the accident to make sure I was OK.

If I could rate 0 stars, I would. They towed my car from the street, and when I called to ask how to retrieve it, they were incredibly rude and curt. They assumed I had a DUI because I am a college student.... they asked for a large CASH sum on a SUNDAY.... I politely asked what their office hours were for the week, and they told me if I had cash, someone could come meet me? This sounds very uncomfortable (as a college student, alone) and very shady that they wouldn't want me to go to an office, to at least have formal documentation. I'm not from here, but if you don't have street markings, and you post "open 24 hours" I'd hope that you could at least try to help someone who doesn't know every state law. I wish I'd had a better experience. I wish the representative wasn't so unnecessarily rude.

The people at A-1 Towing were the rudest men I have ever talked to in my life. They do not care about their customers nor their cars. Please be advised, they will do anything they can do to take any bit of money they can. They towed my car while it had the correct parking sticker for the parking lot. As the guy was hooking it up, I went to ask him what he was doing and he was nothing but rude to me. Then, I decided to call the manager, who I assumed would agree it was a mistake and understand my problem. He then proceeded to yell at me and my boyfriend calling us 'liars' and telling us we broke the law and 'our generation is going down the drain because of people like us'. I went in to pick it up, and the man proceeded to tell me I have to pay more than the original cost (180- which is rediculous!) up to 250! At this point I told him I am calling the cops because his business is unlawful. At that point he said the price for me would only be $100 (wow, what a steal, for something I didn't do wrong). I hope I never have to deal with these men again.

It seems like people have mixed experiences, but personally the guys at A-1 did a great job helping me out. I blew a tire by Centennial WY, and A-1 quoted me the quickest to come pick me up. Additionally, one of their guys went above and beyond by helping me find a replacement wheel from a junkyard when no tire shop or dealer in town was open. Overall, it just seemed like they care about helping people get back on the road.

After I was involved in a motorcycle crash, these guys towed my bike halfway across Laramie and stored my bike in their lot for a total of four days before my claims adjuster could finally see it. They wanted $1700 for the tow and storage fees. The guys that picked myself and the bike up were friendly, patient, and timely. My claims adjuster told me that they were unwilling to negotiate or even provide reasons as to why the bill was so high. They held my bike hostage until she paid the total and then refused to move the bike to the Honda dealership or my house. It took two weeks time and she had to contract with another tow company to get it moved in the end. I would not recommend this business. Buyer beware!

They charged us $1040 to tow our car from Happy Jack to Laramie! Told by the mechanic that this was very, very high in his experience. Decline to tell us the charge until tow was done. First off, the first time I called this company, they were very rude in the way that they answered their phone call and in response to advice about how to get my car back. Later that day, AFTER paying the money to get the vehicle back, the owner, Shane is his name, continued to yell at this paying customer about people not paying for his services on top of being rude the entire experience. Shane, the OWNER, was very unprofessional in the way he handles his business and also very rude to his customers. I decided to write this review after already hearing many bad reviews before about this man and his company, in hopes to inform the people in Laramie about the professionalism that this business portrays. Please do not spend your money here, for you will regret it, as did we.

My daughter was towed by A1 towing and it was the worst experience they had my daughter in tears when it was there mistake as to why her vehicle was towed. The type of business they provide should be illegal if you ask me. They told my daughter she is going no where in life and that she is whats wrong with this generation. The owner then proceeded to tell her that the next time he sees her he hopes she is the back of a police car with a DUI over her. As im sure you can read from other reviews this is not the first time they wrongfully towed a car as well as not the first time they have been rude to a client. I will never recommend this company to anyone I would suggest using anyone else in Laramie for any of your towing needs!

The Owner and his Son have always been my "HEROES." Very quick and friendly. I have had several tows and I always recommend A-1 to all of my friends and family. They are experts at what they do ! ! I would like to thank the Police Department for sending A-1 when I needed them ! !

Zero stars!! The owner is very disrespectful with major drug problems, business should be shut down, or taken over by someone more mature and respectable. Most inconvenient experience I've ever had with a tow company. Inconvenient prices with terrible qualities. Property needs to be redone. He has ciderblocks behind my car that I hit on the way out and caused damage to vehical.

We rented our uhaul trailer here for our trip to Arizona. The owner was helpful, however did not have any balls (towing balls get with the program :) ) or receiver hitches, so make sure you have all your gear and know what size ball you need for the towing equipment. who would have know it was so touch attaching a 2"ball to a 2.5 inch receiver hitch. As mentioned else were I ended going to O'riley, get a receiver reduced and then I could attach my new 2" receiver.Back to A-1 they have a large selection of U-haul trailers and stuff.

My son's Jeep broke down a long way from town during the weekend. We called A-1 Recovery & Towing late in the afternoon. Not only did the driver respond amazingly fast, but he also lined up a garage for repairs and asked them to stay late to receive our vehicle. The service was fast and friendly and very reasonably priced. If you need a tow, call these guys first.

Even 1 star is too high. The man I spoke with whom I believe to be the owner or manager was rude, inconsiderate, and downright mean. I had a few simple questions that I hoped he could answer and he proceeded to yell at me about how he was doing me a favor because other companies in town charged so much and his fee should be no big deal ($225 dollars is a big deal to most people actually!). He continued to be rude towards me and tell me how he loses money when people don't come pay to get their vehicles after I had already paid to get mine back.

My trailer axel came off. Within 45min of calling A-1 a driver was loading my trailer up. Especially after being blown off by another company I am very grateful for the quickness and ease this service was for me. Thank you

If 0 stars were an option it would choose that. Terrible customer service. The day I showed up to pick up my uhaul there was construction on 2nd Street leaving nowhere to park near the facility. So I called to ask where they are sending customers to park and the whoever answered the phone was extremely rude. Then as soon as I parked and walked up to the building everyone scattered and left me standing there.

Predatory business practices and rude, unprofessional staff. Charges for towing were vastly inflated, a practice which gouges consumers and inflates car insurance rates. While A1 was in possession of my vehicle, my registration and tags went missing. Please look elsewhere for towing services as this business can t be trusted.Service: Car towingService: Car towing

I got stranded in Laramie over the weekend, and there are very few tow companies in Laramie in general to choose from. I called these folks to try and get a tow down to Loveland because I don't know a single person within 50 miles. While they were open and offered to tow my car, once I told them where I needed a tow to, they flat out laughed and refused, saying "Oh no, today is game day (UW football) and I'll make $10k today, so I can't do that tow today." WOW. Ok. Someone gets stranded in a town where they don't know anybody and you won't give them a tow (which they would obviously pay for) and you TELL them you won't because of all the money you make instead? So classy. Clearly not a professional company.

Well, I would write a honest review of this company, but it seems that many before me have done that already. Let's put it this way, before I go to bed at nights, I send bad vibes in the direction of this place. Look up synonyms for terrible, and all will apply to this run down joint. Trust the reviews! Go elsewhere!
