Although they were extremely busy and unable to repair my problem immediately they contacted assistance and I was back on the road safely heading home within a couple hours. Huge relief!

My starter died in Lander while travelling though on my way home to Montana. Marie at Va's was kind and helpful, and got my truck in for repair immediately. She and the rest of the staff were very friendly and accommodating, and they even offered us a ride into town to get lunch while we waited for the starter to be replaced. The repair took longer than anticipated, but they only charged us for the amount quoted. I would have gladly paid more. I stopped by Va s auto repair for a brake job today. They did the work quickly, and during a test drive, they noticed that my wheel hub assembly was bad. They showed me the problem, found a part, and replaced it in the same day! What a great business and nice family. The electrical connector to my truck's speed sensor came apart while driving on Louis Lake road. I lost the speedometer and it would not shift out of first gear. Since we are from AZ and were up here camping for a week, I was needing a repair to get the family home safely. Va's came to the rescue after two other shops in town turned us away. They even offered my son and I a free shuttle into town to get breakfast and coffee (highly recommend Crux!) while we waited for it to be done. Va and Marie are wonderful people and we are so grateful to them for getting us back on the road quickly.Service: Electrical repair

These guys are honest, responsible, and timely. I really felt valued as a customer. This is the absolute best auto shop I've been to in Wyoming. Marie was so thorough in working with my insurance company to ensure that all damage done was taken care of. Additionally, the mechanic took the time to look at my vehicle right away to give me an estimate to ease my mind. I am now a lifelong customer of Va's Auto Repair!

Long story short; my transmission blew and the good people at Va's took great care of me.Va's came recommended by a local I met climbing in Wild Iris. I left my van with them and went back home to Colorado, definitely leaving me feeling a little vulnerable. They were communicative, friendly and did quality work. Great shop! My Chevy Tahoe started to misfire while on the highway on a cross country trip with my family. We barely made it into town, every mechanic was weeks backed up, so was this business but they went above and beyond to help my family out, it was amazing. We were gone the next morning with a new distributor cap and headed back home. Great family business that knows what they are doing and do it well. We appreciate you guys so much. Highly recommended!

I really appreciate this family-run, honest and hardworking team. They are so prompt with getting our cars in for service and they do great work. We feel like we are in very good hands and are so grateful to have this level of service in Lander.

Excellent service! Was driving across country when my truck broke down. They came in on a Saturday even though they were closed, they had the problem diagnosed and fixed within a few hours, and had us back on the road. Very honest and reasonabley priced!

Had broken serpentine belt while driving to the Wind River Range. Car was fixed right away and at a very honest price. I wish I could use this mechanic back home!
