We came to stay for 2 nights, but they told us we couldn't use the pool due to a country festival. My kids were extremely sad. When we asked the hotel receptionist, they were very mean to us and told us to come back at 8 am. Unfortunately, the pool was super cold in the morning, and it only became hot in the late afternoon. The stay was quite expensive for just 2 nights, and we would have appreciated knowing about the festival before booking. On a positive note, the laundry room was nice and the place was quiet even with the festival .

Awesome place to stay if you want to be near the town and the Tetons. Sadly you can t see the Tetons from the RV park, but it s a great location with access to the Virginian Lodge which has a restaurant, pool, 2 outdoor hot tubs, and a bar with occasional live music! The only downside to the park is that it s really expensive. We payed $165 a night there, with no weekly discount. Other than that, we had a great time.

2-star is given only for location. The sites themselves are mediocre at best.$175 p/night and not worth half that.I ve stayed all across North America and this is the most I ve paid. You will NOT get a warm shower regardless of time. Advice to RV owners: don t stay here.Advice to owners: spend the $2k for hot water system able to support the men s/women s facilities between the laundry room.

We found this place by chance traveling in our Airstream. Originally we had a site that would not fit us, and they were full, but they still found a way to find a beautiful pull through spot for us for the two nights we spent. Our continual thought was to come back and stay with them for a month to enjoy the environment fully. This RV Park is absolutely lovely with a bike/walk path right alongside it to take you into town quickly, and the ski hill, Snow King is just up the path on the right.

We stayed at the Virginian RV Park recently to cap off our two weeks at Yellowstone. We were not disappointed. Location was perfect. Showers, laundry available. The pool and hot tub were a hit. Area clean, well maintained. Level, grass and gravel. We liked that the electrical and water hook-ups are mounted on concrete pads. We would return to this site.

Good location. The showers are very small. No handicap showers or toilets. No Wi-Fi but reliable 5G cell signal. They provide cable. Sites are very together.Nearby activities: Grand Teton National Park

We absolutely loved this place!! Our first time staying here and evidently our last as the city purchased it to build apartments. I am so sad about that. RV ers need a place in town close to conveniences and I m sure as many sites as there are here they bring a lot of business to the area. They are adding apartments as there is a shortage of housing for workers but it would seem contradictory to our housing here and take away RV sours when I m sure there are many suitable properties for housing.Deb and Rick are amazing and Deb was able to fit us in another two nights. Thank you!

The managers were a lifesaver. Rich and Deb were nothing but kind to us over the phone and in person. Keith also was kind enough to direct us to our spot on his day off! We were originally staying elsewhere, but our trailer brakes went out and we weren't going to make it over Teton Pass. On a Saturday night in Jackson, we were limited on availability and price ranges. The Super 8 wanted $350+ so when we called Virginian RV Park & they had a site for half of that, we took it! Deb was very patient with us on the phone as we were stressed & trying to figure out sleeping arrangements. It is a bit pricey for the amenities, but you are literally in the middle of town with great proximity to restaurants, stores, the national parks, etc. The showers and bathrooms were a bit small, but very clean. Our site was level and the whole place was very well-maintained. Overall, I'd say it's worth it to stay here if you want to be in Jackson.

It's located less than a mile away from the center of Jackson. That's the best thing about this RV "resort".Very tight spots, one bathroom (four stalls, 3 showers) for the whole park. Outside lane sits up against an electric transformer station. Hums all day/night.The bathroom needs code to go in. There are no cut throughs to said bathroom, so you have to walk all the way around to get there. Wifi is only available in the hotel lobby. (Pretty inconvenient)Extremely expensive. I read reviews after we booked. I should have read them before. They all sound alike.

We really liked the Virginian Park; clean campgrounds, nice laundry facilities, close to Teton s, and central to Jackson. Camp host were very nice. Slight drawback is the size of the showers and the shower curtains; however no star deduction as the bathrooms were always clean. We would stay again.

We loved this place! Clean bathrooms, clean laundry, an awesome courtyard with a bar and fire pits. We would definitely stay here again.

Once again a very poor wi-fi service at our RV park. We all looked like criminals huddled up in the damp by the chalets just to get a signal. Not too far to walk into town (if you're European).Walkability: About 15 minutes walk into the edge of town.

I loved this site, although pricey it was perfectly situated in Jackson Hole (an expensive town to visit!). The staff were so welcoming and friendly, and had a fabulous sense of humour, making me chuckle a lot. The lovely lady (and her gorgeous dog) was so helpful and friendly, giving me all the information for the site, codes for facilities, Wi-Fi code, information about accessing the pool, hot tubs and fire pit area and routes to get to local tourist areas. The pitch we stayed on was well maintained, good hook up facilities well located to use in our RV. We were a short walk away from the rodeo (which was awesome) and some great (expensive) restaurants. I recommend this site for anyone wanting to stay in a great, central to town situated campground with friendly staff! Thank you for having us, we would absolutely stay again!!

We had the best experience with Virginian RV Park!First, the park is conveniently located close to all the main attractions and in a beautiful scenery. Showers are a bit tight but always clean, restrooms are great and we even used the Laundromat. But best part was the service! The day before we were scheduled to leave we found out we have a flat tier! Had to order a Tier from Big O and they weren't sure if they could deliver on time or stay one more night.Ms. Deb was kind enough save us a place (with no charge!) Until we knew that tier was coming the morning after- and for that she has our big gratitude!!! thank you Ms. Deb- we'll be back!

Luxury RV park with access to the Lodge s pool, hot tub and fire pits. Deb and Rich, the Managers at the RV campground were super sweet, friendly and funny. Coffee was always ready in the morning, laundry facilities the cheapest we ve come across. Bathrooms and showers clean and well maintained. Short walk to town and trail heads. Worth the extra $ to stay here. The pool was refreshing and hot tub a treat after long day hike and bike ride to Jenny Lake out of Dornan s just north of town.

Too pricey for a less-than-satisfying experience. From about 4-6pm in the high season, there's a line of vehicles to get in. NO TENTS ALLOWED, including truck bed tents (our son's preference, and this could have been posted in a more noticeable location on their website). We were assigned to park our truck & trailer in a SMALL shady back-in campsite in the bottom corner next to the road & the power station. The included, anemic WiFi signal wasn't even detectable on any of our devices, and AT&T & Verizon devices could only get 1 bar, so searching for restaurants and maps sucked. Later, we were kept awake ALL night by pedestrian & vehicular road noise (fyi, Snow King Ave is the locals' preferred thoroughfare). The camp hosts closed up their "office" shortly after we got set up, so I walked to the hotel office for information typically handed to you at registration (like bathroom codes, WiFi codes, etc). The hotel & RV park do not assist or support one another. I tried to buy a t-shirt from their lobby gift shop, but apparently this was just not my day. It took 2 people to try and figure out how to ring up a simple t-shirt, and after 15 minutes of the Frick & Frack show, I walked out. All of the lovely photos of the restaurant, grassy areas, firepits, and pool, etc, are within the perimeter of the hotel, crowded, & about as far as possible from our location as possible. I wouldn't return or even recommend this place during the high season. I'd rather stay in Alpine.Update (1 year later): Please notice that the management rarely responds to less-than-positive reviews. That should give you some indication of how they'll react if your stay is anything less than perfect.

Nice place and i would try it again. However, we had to take a cold shower in the bathhouse after a long day of sightseeing and hikng.

We reserved this place thinking for the price ($200 a night) it would be a really nice RV park, WRONG! First we were traveling with friends and requested months ago to be at least close to them, but upon arrival we were informed they had some issues and we could not park near our friends even though there were empty spaces right beside them, then they proceeded to tell us they didn t have a spot where we could park our tow car and would have to park it out of the park on the street. Finally they found us a spot at the back of the park where it was obvious there were full time people staying, I wonder if they pay $200 a night? Anyway went to the showers which are super outdated, the money they charge they could easily update the baths and showers, also there was no hot water completely cold shower, and to top it off where they parked us was under pines trees sap everywhere and also a nesting crow or raven whatever keep us up all night cawing. The roads are all dirt and gravel as well as the pads very dusty. Was there anything good about this park? It is close to Jackson, paying for location and location only and boy do you pay. I would highly not recommend this Rv park, we stayed at Hilton Head island RV resort for much less, it was top of the line and also super location. The worst RV park for the money I have ever seen. Have one star because it would not let me give zero.

We are newbies to this RV thing and probably won t be doing it again because of all the blinders. The latest ended with an ER visit. But, it seems to me that the difference between the $15 park and the $80-$100 park is the proximity to local amenities. The site we paid $15 for was in the middle of nowhere but it looked very similar with the gravel paths etc. But the location of this resort can t be beat. Personally, I would rather spend a little more to be in walking distance to an awesome little downtown like Jackson Totally worth it in my opinion. And yes the staff was too cool to me in my crisis and I really appreciated that!

Park is under new ownership who have the RV park part up for sale (It is also a motel.) Full 50 amp hook- ups. Lots of big rig pull-thoughs. The roads had previously had many, many pot holes which they hadn't fixed from year to year. The new owners have done a pretty good job at grading them. There is only one bad one left that we found. We are disappointed each year that they don't stay open later in the Fall. The caretakers were very nice.
