You can check in for your car right in the terminal. No shuttle buses needed to take you to downtown Jackson Hole to pickup your car!Very quick and good service when we checked in to pickup our rental car. The condition of the car was very good. Great gas mileage and comfortable for all six of us to rides throughout our visit to Great Teton and Yellowstone National Park!Car returns also very easy, just drop your key in the return box and that s it!I will use Alamo again for sure!

I m not usually someone who leaves reviews but I had the worst experience with Alamo. I picked up my rental car on October 4th in the evening. The guy at the desk handed me the keys and told me to go find the van in the lot outside. He refused to go outside and do a walk threw of the car. There was also no form indicating and damages during the check in process. I didn t take any pictures or videos of the car. I drove the car in the morning to the Salt Lake airport where the check in lady asked me about a small scuff on the passenger side door. I responded that the scuff had been there when I picked up the car and asked if I needed to sign any forms. She told me I was all set to go and a month later I received a bill for $371. Alamo never sent me any pictures of the nearly $400 worth of damage. If you find yourself in a situation where you have to use Alamo, please learn from my mistakes and insist the employee does a walk through of your car! At the very least, take LOTS of pictures or the vehicle you are renting. They will do their best to scam you. They will also threaten to turn your bills over to a collection agency if your insurance takes too long processing them; altogether a terrible experience!

My flight was cancelled due to weather and I had to return my vehicle to a major airport 200 miles from where the rental originated. The change cost me $1,100. You read that correctly

Best rental car counter experience ever. First, Alamo is one of 5 companies to be on-airport with their vehicles right outside the terminal (1min walk) saving a 20min shuttle trip into town. I had pre-checked in a bit, and Eddy at the counter greeted me promptly with a smile, rapidly verified + initialed the necessary items and had keys in my hand in 2 minutes, no joke. My family was stunned when I returned with the keys before they had finished using the restroom. Eddy also offered me a nicer model to my reserved mid-SUV, which turned out to be one of the nicest rental cars I've ever driven. Return was basically as smooth/quick. Could recommend more highly.

Received excellent customer service upon arrival to check in. Pleasantly surprised that the vehicle was pristine and in good condition.Daily rate was reasonable. Would not hesitate to do business again at Alamo when I return.

I recently rented a vehicle from Alamo in Jackson Hole. We were upgraded to a larger SUV with no extra charge. The agents could not of been any nicer. The pick up and return was so easy. Will rent again from Alamo

I ve been renting from Alamo for ages and although they are limiting their famous walk in and pick your car option the assistant at this particular location has been very helpful and accommodating.They have good cars and a great service.Advice to management: George deserves a raise/promotion or I ll hire him.

Alamo at Jackson Hole WY really stepped up for me! I made a huge mistake in making a reservation at Jackson Mississipi, and Alamo worked with me to cancel those reservations, and find the cars we needed with another one of the provders in Jackson, WY. They definitely took what could have been a real downer for our trip and turned it around!! Specifically George at the customer service counter was super kind and professional and took care of us, especially when it was my mistake to begin with! It is much appreciated. This was the type of experience that build brand loyalty! Will certainly give them a look next time we book rentals. Thank you!

Alamo while being a little short handed at the counter did the best they could to provide the car I had reserved the best they could the car worked out perfectly as we needed a large car for the 6 of us which can be hard to find at smaller airports.

Check-in was quick, efficient and complete. Given perfect instructions on where the car I reserved was located - just a short walk away from the terminal in Jackson, Wyoming. Car was ready to go but was needing a washer fluid refilled. Very spacious SUV which handled all out luggage for 4 people. Comfortable and efficient to boot. Love the car for the week we had reserved it for touring

I booked Alamo for the first time and I was amazed by the staff and service. The rental car was in great clean condition. They gave us free upgrade and the car was in very good condition parked right outside airport. It was the best rental experience which we will do again in future.

The 2022 Chevy Malibu was very comfortable, clean and great on the road! it was driven from Jackson Hole, WY to Portland, ME. about 2,500miles. Thank you for a wonderful, safe vehicle for my mom and me to travel in :-)

I haven't rented from Alamo in years, but they had the very best price for our trip. This was a much needed getaway for just me and my wife, and we wanted every detail to go as perfect as planned. I could NOT have been MORE HAPPY with this rental, which simply added to an awesome trip! The service was super easy and fast, the agent great, and they even offered a considerable free upgrade! Getting the vehicle and returning was super fast and easy, and the cleanliness and quality of the vehicle was the best I've ever had! Will DEFINITELY be using Alamo as much as possible in the future, especially if we ever return to Jackson Hole!

Really happy I went with Alamo for my trip in Jackson Holy, WY! I booked the trip 9 months in advanced. The quote I received was the quote they stuck to, even when the car rental prices in the area doubled what I was quoted. The signed up for the "You Click. We Pick." vehicle, and I ended up getting a pretty slick van! The car was very well taken care of. The check out was pretty straight forward, just leave your car at designated area and they'll take care of the rest! The whole experience was very smooth.

Rental had no washer fluid but otherwise clean interior. Person at the counter verbally told me a smaller vehicle would be capable of fitting my passengers and our luggage at no additional cost however I was charged double for my rental reservatio. I called customer service but a week later no one has contacted me regarding this charge. I never rented with Alamo before and never will again. Pay the extra $ for a more reputable car rental company.EDIT 2.25Representative from this google review allowed me to email someone from corporate but I've still not heard back from the Jackson office as advised by them.

The car they gave us was great. It had all the upgrades and was a hybrid which was also great. Check in / out was super easy. Only issue I had was the price - seems not just Alamo customers are experiencing high prices in rental cars this summer.

We got into the airport at night, they processed us and got us our vehicle quickly because we did the pre-check in. The first vehicle they gave us, the "oil change required," message came on the next morning. Alamo wanted me to drive 1 1/2 hours to switch the vehicle since I called and was worried about driving it the remainder of the week. I declined and told the road side assistance that Alamo would have to bring me a vehicle since they didn't bother to check if it needed an oil change. They did do this, and the towing service(Courtesy Towing) was very nice and accommodating. They gave me a replacement vehicle, which was a downgrade and had 61,000 miles on it. We started driving it through the mountains (Tetons) since we were staying by Jackson Hole, WY, and the brakes were vibrating and noisy as we descended. I brought this vehicle back to Alamo to exchange it again. They tried to convince me that the vibrating was normal and I should have been in a lower gear on the mountain. I told them that I have been driving for almost 40 years, I know when the brakes/rotors are bad. Finally, after no apologies for the problems they caused me, or that it was dangerous with the downgraded vehicle with bad brakes on the mountain, they gave me another vehicle. I had them look up when the next oil change was required on this vehicle. Despite that, the "oil change required," message came on when I started the vehicle. I paid $1,500 for a minivan for the week. I expect better service and product that what I received.

With everything going on this past year and a half, renting a vehicle was very challenging. I reserved a car in April for our August vacation out west. I requested an SUV. When we arrived to pick up the vehicle the check in process was quick. I requested a GPS not thinking that the car had a navigation system, since it was not mentioned, anyway the first unit did not work and was filthy. The second unit worked but I asked the clerk to please clean it. Speaking of clean, when I reached my vehicle it was very dirty. We had to clean the windows, inside and out, and mirrors too.We returned the vehicle with the required full tank of gas and made mention of the condition of the car at pick up. The clerk gave me $250 off the rental cost as a courtesy and I was not charged for the GPS.I understand that costs have gone up but $2300 for 10 days seemed very high.

Leading up to our vacation I was very nervous about the availability of cars, despite the fact that I made my reservation back in February. There was no need to have worried, as we arrived and there were several cars from which we could choose in the minivan category. The car was clean and comfortable and we had an excellent experience. Check in and out was fast and easy and pricing was very competitive.

Rented a Toyota Corolla at the Jackson airport at the end of July. Check-in was quick, although the staff member was not particularly friendly. The vehicle was clean and fully operational; there were absolutely no issues for the entire period of the rental. Turn-in was a breeze. I will definitely rent from Alamo again.

We had a five star experience with Alamo in the ease of pickup and drop off of the car with almost no waiting, which was a great contrast to other rentals. We had a low-mileage mid-size car which drove well and was very clean. The only downside was the big expense of the rental itself, which was larger than any previous rental, but which may be current in the aftermath of the Covid pandemic. we would recommend Alamo and would consider renting from Alamo in future.

We had a great experience with Alamo on our one-way rental from Jackson Hole, WY to Billings, MT the first week of August. When we added an extra day to our vacation, we were unable to add an extra day for our SUV, so got a car for a one day rental. When we arrived in Jackson Hole, the Alamo agent was able to give us a choice of 2 SUVs immediately, which saved us a trip back to the airport the next day to get the SUV, and made our vacation easier and more fun!

I highly recommend Alamo and will be using them in the future. They were able to upgrade our vehicle at no additional charge and the check-in/check-out process went quickly and smoothly.Also, I signed up for their FREE Insiders Program and received 5% OFF my Car Rental. Who doesn't like a savings?

Great experience with Alamo. They have some of the best vehicles in the fleet. We personally had a 2017 Chevrolet Suburban which was perfect for touring everything the local Wyoming area had to offer. It had navigation and was luxurious for the price. They were extremely courteous and appreciative of Military service. Their building was convenient with a quality shuttle running from drop to the airport. We recommend Alamo over past issues with Enterprise. Sad to see they have negative reviews.

Fifty cars returned back at 7am at Jackson Hole Airport. And the lady turns on the engine on every car. I asked her to turn engines off with regard to global warming and CO2 emission etc. Stupid reply that she had to check mileage. 2050 net zero does that ring a bell?

We rented an economy car through Alamo in Jackson Hole this Summer. They have a great streamlined process that gets you in and out quickly. Service is prompt and courteous while the selection of vehicles is vast. Price point was the major reason we chose Alamo this time but because of the great service and lack of hassles we'll be back in the future. Thanks for making our trip extra enjoyable.

This was a very simple pleasant car rental, I used a third party and got a good deal for a standard SUV.The pickup was easy and the agent was very helpful.The car return also was very easy next to the terminal. If your traveling with large luggage I suggest unloading first at the terminal with your family and friends and than returning to the drop of location. Makes it smoother and during winter dont have to ruin your luggage on the snow.I would rent again from Alamo,During the summer a standard car is probably fine however during winter I would recommend a SUV if you plan on exploring.Renting the car 15mins from airport we found, Moose, Elk, Buffalo, Deer and much more.
