Great place to take the family for a camping getaway. RV, camper and tent sites available. Water sports rentals, convenient store/ restaurant/ bar. Locals drive down in their golf carts to enjoy the evening. Massive reservoir with a plethora of fish to catch. Bring your swim wear as this is a warm water reservoir and it's hot in the middle of summer here so the water is your oasis. 536 camping spots, multiple boat ramps, sand beaches and tons of fun.

Let me start with saying my wife and I were passing through and decided to stop for the night. We called ahead and got the last space they had. We arrived fairly late about 7 and were welcomed in like old friends. The cost, 41 dollars and some change after taxes, was very reasonable. The sites are gravel but very large, big enough for the truck, camper, and a boat if you had one. As I was setting up, I noticed I had a tire coming apart on the camper. The next morning I changed the tire to discover the lug nuts would not work with my spare rim. The owner not only brought up a nice Jack for me to use but told me where I could probably get different lug nuts on a Sunday morning. Because of them we were able to make it out and home. This place and its owners are awesome! I should also note the property is immaculate. I cant comment on the bathrooms or showers as we did not use them. They above and beyond to help and I hope to visit them again in the future.

What a great place to stay. The view is beautiful! All campsites are extra wide and pull through. The driveways are wide enough for the largest A class and fifth wheels to drive through. The owners were so nice. There's even an adult watering hole at the office. We would definitely come back here for short or long-term stay.

RV park near Glendo Reservoir and Glendo State Park, with easy access from I-25. We stayed a week and found it a relaxing stay; besides boating on the reservoir, the state park offers hiking and biking. The RV park caters to the boating crowd and the pull-through gravel sites are wide enough room to park your boat next to your rig. The town of Glendo is small and offers limited services and groceries; though there are a couple of interesting restaurants and bars. The campground also has limited supplies and a small friendly bar with pizzas. All the utilities worked fine, although there is no cable or TV reception. The restrooms and small laundry were clean and in good condition; the showers needed tokens. Overall, our experience was OK; would have been better if we had a boat. It is a convenient stay while traveling between Cheyenne and Casper.

Fairly new. Nice facilities. You have to buy a token to take a shower!!!! That was a first. Also the lake view is a bit misleading. The lake is only half a mile away but there is a forest between the campground and the lake so there is virtually no view. And I couldn't see that there was any access to the lake. Had to search for a while but did eventually locate a garbage off in a corner of the park. No garbage at showers/restroom area.

We camped here in 2017 and had a bunch of fun! The campground is clean and the showers are awesome! This is a great place! The woman yelled at us for driving to fast down the road in front of the campground and was extremely rude but we figured oh well not a big deal. We called to make reservations this year and had reserved spots for our camper and boat. The lady who deals with reservations probably the same one who yells at people told us we were not welcomed and that our party of 6 people was to large and a red flag! Seriously! We even left a 5 star review last year

Immaculately kept, quite, newer, wide and level parking. No, the woman does not enjoy communication, but I wasn't looking for a new friend. Verizon worked great and even freeway was quite at night. Bathrooms were very clean, showers require tokens.

Nice park! We are here after the season and the surrounding areas are very beautiful. Our camp site required very little leveling. Laundry room looks like it is brand new. Nice neighbors, friendly people.

Very cool RV Park. Finally after several years of stopping here on my way to and from Sturgis, I was taken for a ride around the lake by the Owner. Wow, I had no idea how big and populated that lake is. My rig n trailer measure 75' and most of their sites will accommodate me. That's, amazing. They have a bar that might be the hot spot for the locals. This place has become one of my favorites. Try it once and you'll come back.

***UPDATE. March 11, 2022.They no longer accept overnight campers. They are a full time park with a waiting list. That is sad because it was such a great place. Changed from 5 stars to one only because of avaliablity. This is our second time here in two years. It is a great stop off of I 25. But this time they have a new bonus feature. Like many RV parks along our highways they are near rail roads and rr crossings. This crossing is no longer a train horn crossing. You can hear the train rumble by but your sleep is not interrupted by the horn. The staff here is wonderful, the facilities are clean, the park landscape is maintained, and the sunrises and sunsets are spectacular and the air is fresh and clean. A real part of staying in the country. You will not be dissppointed.

3 Months ago I posted what you see below. I also gave them a 5 star review. This is a great park. We stayed there for about a week and loved every second of it. The spaces are large and come with full hookups. Plus, they even provide you with showers. We will only be staying here from now on when we go to Glendo WY.6/25/18It has now been three months since we've last been there and my dad actually called them up today and here is what happend. We are a family of 6 people. I am one of triplet boys who are all 21. I have a younger sister who is 17 and both of my parents who all love to camp always come with us. Being as it is at 21, us three boys are all in college. We only get to see our parents on the break times which are in the winter and summer months.I have camped at Glendo my entire life and just started camping here last year.Everything seemed fine last year. We did not raise hall nor were we bad customers. We were extremely respectful and responsible for our campsite. But everything changed today, June 6th 2018. We called them up today and they said that "we are not able to camp due to the high amount of people in our party and that it raises red flags".I am not allowed to camp there due to my family size. This is nothing I can change. We are a good family and mean well. I don't get to go on vacations with my family that often and now I cant go to Glendo Lakeside RV Park. This is so sad! The lady who runs the place is extremely rude and simply wants no business.I am a Google guide and my reviews mean a lot. She will lose customers because of this and it's her fault.

We didn't stay, but the lady who answered the phone was quite rude. It was nearly 7 pm at night and maybe she was ready to be done for the day, but before she would answer any of my questions she wanted to know when I'd be arriving. I had to tell her several times of our arrival because she couldn't hear me (which was fine, but significant--keep reading). When I asked her if they had showers a second time because I couldn't hear her very well she responded "I already told you that." We decided to drive further down the road.

Very well maintained and clean property; everything is always cleaned and mowed etc... we leave a trailer and a boat there all year and never worry about security issues..The owners keep a good eye on everything, and they don't tolerate any baloney. We love the convenience of on site propane, laundry, a store and a great local bar to "have a cold one" and share fishing stories.

I have to give them 5 stars.. We called late Tues. Wouldn't be arriving until almost 10pm...Nancy told us to come on in. We had been trying to find somewhere to stay for hours..with no luck. She met us at the office, & even helped us get into our site at 10! It's a beautiful, well taken care of park

Very nice park, friendly, clean and well maintained with large wide, long gravel sites. We only stayed one night in a MH, all sites are pull thru, pretty views, family friendly and literally minutes from access to the Glendo State Park-good for boating and fishing. Many RVers had boats on their sites and the sites were still comfortable. Good Sam & FMCA. Easy access on & off I25 and just before Hwy 18/20 toward SD & Nebraska.

Good rv park for Electric and water hookups. We reserved a site a week in advance in person, when we arrived found we had been bumped for others who wanted the space and given a not so premium spot. A minus on customer service!

Beautifully laid out park, very isolated, great for a layover stop. Store had mostly empty shelves. Name of park is misleading and as the lake can not even be seen from the park let alone being "lakeside".

What a lovely RV Park!!! It was looking like a painting. So clean and picturesque and a lake at walking distance. I will remember staying here rest of my life.Though the staff needs to be more courteous

Nice layout. Well kept. Lots of rock but seems appropriate for the purpose. Trees could be better placed. Utilities could be a little further foreword. Otherwise it is an above average campground.

Great place to stay, was only able to stay one night because they were booked up but that's my fault for waiting so long to get a spot. Very nice people. Will try and stay again.

Great over night stop in our way to Tetons. After our 11 hour drive, we were delirious with excitement when we realized there was A BAR!

Tried to enquire about wifi via a phone call. The woman who answered was rude and abrupt. It could be a good or bad camp facility but we'll never know as we were told that the RV Park was "closed to overnighters".

Don't try finding this place using the directions they give you. You can't find their website on your phone either. It's not scenic. No trees. Not the prettiest part of Glendo that's for sure. If you can stay at the park, stay at the park.

Non smoking, love that. Very friendly group of people traveling through. Locals also frequent the pub Dailey. Lots of fun.

Good place for overnite stay. If you plan recreation on the lake, there is closer camping, but not for large RVs.
