I went into Smith RV a few months ago and was quoted $175 to get brakes wired into my jeep and when I came back to get it done the two salesmen saw I was a single women and decided to quote me $600-700 for the same work. What a scam! Save your money and go to mechanic that s actually trustworthy.

We worked with Peggy from start to end and she was fantastic. They were very honest and stuck to the agreed price. We drove from Colorado because they treated us much better than any local place. When we picked up the camper they were very accommodating with our dogs. They also offered to let us stay on the property that night and use their electric for free. They did a thorough rundown of the camper prior to signing the documents. They even got it prepped with water and propane. There were a few minor items in the camper that were broken and they mailed them too us at no cost. If we were local they were willing to put it on for us when they came in.Definitely use smith rv!

What a great experience we had with Smith RV, specifically with Peggy. We traveled from California to see our family, ended up toying with the idea of purchasing a fifth wheel from Smith. The entire experience was positive. They were very forthright with their communication and easy to communicate with. In the end, we purchased a different unit from a different provider. Would definitely recommend this dealership.

My wife and I were looking for a Artic Fox RV and found this dealership online, from the beginning of our contact with them to pickup of the rv we could not be happier, each step of the process was as painless as possible and Peggy went out of her way to communicate and answer our questions, on the day we picked up the rv the staff was amazing in helping me install a new hitch and explaining everything on the rv. Other dealership were closer to us but I'm glad we drove the extra miles for the service we experienced with Smith RV. Thanks again Peggy for all your patience with us and for making our experience with your business a 1st class experience. Teresa and Bryan Church

As a single woman, I should have rented a husband. It takes 2 weeks for them to get back to you on anything. When I made my purchase, Cassidy said call the tag office in Alabama in 2 weeks to get your tag. I called in 2 weeks, and it was still sitting on their desk at Smiths. Weeks later, when they finally receive the paperwork, I find out I have to physically take the RV to Alabama for them to do a vin check. Costs 3k to move across country. Smiths also let their worst inspector do the inspection, missing multiple things. It took over a month for them to fix my bathroom sink on my 2019 Eagle so I could use the sink. They sent someone who didn t know how to level the RV to set it up, and he had it wheels off the ground and told me it was supposed to be like that. Had to wait days to get that fixed, when set up and delivery was previously agreed upon. Smiths was one disappointment after another on my used purchase. I still spent 45k, so you would think they would have treated me like they cared a little. So disappointed.

Stopped for fuel in Casper 3 hours into a planned 6 week camping trip and noticed the wheels on the rear camper axle toeing in badly. They took a look at it and identified the issues (2, both a result of shoddy work by Camping World in Longmont, CO); did the necessary repairs the same day and had us back on our way. Cannot recommend them highly wnough.

The mechanic helped us get our hitch attached (it is a non-standard hitch) when we were having issues. We appreciated the help.

This place is awesome. Definitely stop in for RV supplies and questions. Pat, the owner came into our RV, got down on the floor, located fuse that was blown. Pat then went into his store for a replacement fuse and installed our new CO2 detector. Pat explained everything, answered many questions, and would not take any money. Thanks again Pat,Steve and Jane

We have purchased two rv's at Smith's and our daughter bought theirs at Smith's. We had a credit, due to the referral of our daughter. The parts guy there was disgusting. He was rude and kept saying no to everything we asked him to do. The prices of parts is terribly high if not down right disgusting. Previously I needed a piece for our awning. I called to see if I could get it. The only solution this parts guy had was to replace the entire awning for over one thousand dollars. I fixed it myself. The service department is not much better. Last year I called a month ahead of time to schedule at time to have our rv winterized. I brought it in at the day scheduled. Our rv sat on the lot for two weeks before they even looked at it. Then they took a week doing who knows what. Finally I just picked it up and this year I winterized it myself. The sales people and manager seem ok but the parts and service departments watch out.

I purchased a new Arctic Fox camper from Smith RV and couldn t have more pleased with the service. I had to wait awhile for the unit to be manufactured as per our specs, but I knew that from the very beginning. Peggy, Cassidy, Paul and the rest of the crew were all very professional, and top notch people. Thanks for all you did to make the RVing aspect of our lives a joy.Larry and Jan

We purchased our camper from Smiths in June of 2021 from Jeff. We had a great experience throughout the purchasing process. In October we had a bit of an accident with the camper and needed some fiberglass work done as well as an awning arm replaced, and a new awning due to a tear. In addition, we needed a generator installed that we purchased elsewhere because Smiths was not able to get one for at least 6 months. We talked and emailed with Casey, the service manager, to schedule and coordinate with a body shop that would fix the fiberglass, and Smiths to install the generator and fix awning/arms later in October. After confirmation from Casey that everything was set and ordered all we had to do was get the camper to them by November 10th and they would get it done. Wellll..............we got the camper delivered to them the 8th of November (2.5 hour drive for us) received a paper copy of work to be performed which we accepted. They told us they were going to get right on it. After about roughly a month we had heard nothing, so we emailed to find out status and the excuses began flying. We were next, had to order a different part, the awning arms that they had were defective and they had to order an upgrade of arms which we had to pay more for, the body shop is busy, we didn't know you needed fiberglass work done, on and on and on. Trying to make a long story short, it was almost 6 months to the day before we got our camper back. It sat out all winter in the elements which would not have happened here. Everything looks great and works, but the communication was horrible with the service department. The only time they responded in a timely manner was when it was invoive time. Then when we went to get it, the batteries were dead and they had lost the keys. The entire situation with the service department was so negative that we will not be returning and could not in good faith recommend them to anyone.

If you are an out of state resident with a credit score that is borderline decent, you may want to drive a few miles down the road to their neighbors. We were told we couldn t get financing because we were out of state. We said, that s okay, we are getting licenses next month. We ll be back. And then they say oh well your credit isn t very good either hahaha! What is it? My credit is too poor for you to look at or I m not a wyoming resident? Would you accept a Montana resident of their credit score was 800? Because our neighbor bought from you with poor credit and out of state residency. Hahaha!Maybe they ll take you seriously, maybe they won t.Parts and service isn t bad though!

We drove over 4 hrs to see a specific trailer. Trent greeted us to help. Showed us other options as well. He was very helpful, knowledgeable and a genuine good guy without being pushy. When it's time for us to buy and if he has what we we're looking for, we'll make the trek to buy from him.

Recently purchased a 5th wheel. Excellent service, great friendly staff. Worked with us on competitive pricing to keep us in state vs purchasing out of state. We were in a time crunch to leave town, they worked after hours on detailing and inspecting our new camper so we could head out on time. Highly recommend!!!

Worked with Kim and had a great experience, however unable to get the deal sealed because the manager refused to take our camper as a trade in. 2015 absolutely nothing wrong with it, but it has a new electric fridge and they said that makes them hard to sell . Yet the camper we were going to buy from them had a residential fridge and also no couch!! just wow. Sort of hypocritical in my opinion. Wish I could leave a better review because Kim did an awesome job communicating with us, but can t believe they completely refused our trade in because of the fridge. This was after we were going to take a $7,000 loss on our camper as a trade. Won t be buying from them even if they have the best deals on the planet lol.

They were really great when we tried to buy our camper. They were very helpful and knowledgeable. Financing was easy. Only issue we had was we found the same version of our camper on their website, only with a slideout. Said they had it in stock, but they didn't actually have it. It was going to take over a month to get one in. Another dealer had it in stock so we bought elsewhere.

Today while passing through Casper Wyoming on our way to Cody Wyoming, my GFCI breaker would keep popping off. I brought the rig to Smith RV hoping to get another breaker. Unfortunately they didn t have a 15 amp GFCI in stock. Mike who works on rigs said he would take a look. He found that the HOT lead was apparently barely touching the breaker and in fact was totally disconnected. He repaired it for us AT NO CHARGE and we were on our way. I simply cannot say enough to all that work there how appreciative I am and I would highly recommend them to all my fellow RV ers out there. Mike, thank you again for your help.Bob and Dee

We were in town visiting family and just looking at upgrading our camper. Went to Smith's just to check the inventory out. Lucky for us Peggy came out and began showing us our options. Even in a freezing wind and a little late she made looking fun and easy. We went back home (5hrs) and discussed our options. Even though we found the same camper a little closer and a little cheaper we went with Smith because of the no pressure sales of Peggy and Cassidy. Great experience all around.

They say shop locally, but the parts I bought cost me best part of $100, and could be bought on line at $25.00. I'll only use places like this in an emergency.

Happy we did business locally-no need to look further. Our sales rep Jeff Bessey was easy to talk to and helped make it comfortable coming to a decision on the RV we always wanted. Cassidy handled closing paperwork with down to earth expertise.

These guys are great. Might find a better deal to the north or south, but you won't find the same quality as Smiths.
