One of the worst companies I have ever worked with. We ordered windows and outside doors for our whole house in Nov/Dec of 2022. About a month later, they had to come and remeaure because they lost the paper on which they wrote the measurements.We were told the windows and doors would be installed in March of 2023. After we called them in April to see why we didn't have our windows done yet, we were told they "forgot to hit the send button" on our order and did not have them. They ordered them again and told us there would be another wait.In June, I called them for an update and they told me they had the windows but did not have anyone to install them. This is due to them being sued by another company for not completing a job on time.Eventually that summer the windows were finally installed, except they had ordered the wrong size for one window. That window took another few months to come in.Not only did they get one of the windows wrong, they also did not install, or even order, either of the doors. Their claim was that they did not get a confirmation from us to order the doors, even though we told them we needed them and they had measured for them. However, they got just as much confirmation to order the windows as they did the doors, so I don't know how they ordered those. They never bothered to call for confirmation, just decided not to order.Once the doors were finally installed in September of 2023, I find that they have the incorrect handles on them. I ordered knobs and they had installed levers.I called about this issue and came into the store to show them in person (for the second time) which handles I had previously chosen. They assured me that they would order two new handles; one for the back door and one for the front. Before they came and installed these correct handles, they tried to bill us for the total amount, even though the job was not complete.Today they installed the new handle on the back door, but the front door still had a lever. I just called in and was told "there were two?" The new handle for the front door is on it's way, close to one entire year after I had ordered it in the first place.Please refrain from using this company unless you have a lot of extra time to spend waiting on them and fixing all of their mistakes.

Our garage door had a major malfunction. Deru's made it over the same day, even with the craziness of the holidays. They were very honest and efficient. It became apparent that we needed a new motor for our garage door. They got to it first thing after the Christmas holiday weekend. We were very pleased with their service.

This place is top notch in my book. From the moment the nice lady who answered and listened to my urgent problem to the guys who came (quickly in a snow storm!) and fixed my son's door to Mike who was extremely nice and took my payment and only charged me a service fee. Thank you so much. Local companies like this are where it's at. Highly recommend!!

Deru's is now our go-to spot for our home window glass even though we live in Utah. The extra 15 minutes to get there was well worth it as their employees and owner were skilled, helpful, quick and reasonably priced. After realizing what a beautiful (and quick) drive it is to Evanston, much of our shopping and fix it needs are happening there instead of where we live in Utah.

I had my windshield replaced in October by Deru's Glass shop. Two months later in December I started the vehicle with the remote key start and when I went out the windshield had cracked. After closer inspection I had realized the seals were coming up and ice was pushed underneath the seals. I'm not a glass repair guy but with comparing with my other vehicles this did not look right. So I decided to call Deru's glass where I was met with not the greatest customer service. Whom ever I spoke to assumed what had happened to the windshield without even looking at it. This is where I got a little un easy. He had told me if the glass had a defect it would have cracked in the first week and it seemed as if he was placing the fault on me. So ultimately I decided to look at other glass repair shops which led me to Novus Glass Shop. Working with this shop was nothing but a great experience. Also there was mention that the seals in fact did not look correct. After inspecting Novus Glass work everything looked in place as where before the seals were bulging from the top and bottom. Hopefully any one that chooses Deru's glass isn't met with the same experience as I was. I am not looking for an apology or meaningless response to help make the business look better. I am Just asking to be fair with those who come and spend money at Deru's Glass Shop. I am also trying to post photos but for some reason it won't upload or is being very very slow. Thank you

Have replaced 4 windshields for me and have never had a leak that says alot.

I have gotten work done at deru s for years they usually do a good job and their customer service is so so. However this time it was awful first it took them three weeks to schedule a time to fix my car window then after the needed parts finally arrived they called to schedule and wanted me to bring my car in at an ungodly early hour even though they knew I would have to walk Or ride my bike home after dropping it off. I couldn t believe they were sooo unreasonable, like they couldn t have done it in the afternoon or asked me to bring it in the night before but oh no it had to be the crack of dawn. I felt obligated to use them though cause they had already bought the parts. I won t EVER take my car there again. They could have just told me to begin with that they couldn t fix it a a reasonable time but no they wait till after they order the parts. SORRRY customer service.

Scheduling work to be done with Derus is difficult and inconsistent. Unless you can bring the work to their shop, I've had several screens done well in a timely manner, but am taking my glass a window work somewhere else that can manage their schedule better.

I was on a long road trip and the weather stripping on my windshield started coming off on the highway. I popped in here and they fixed it right away and got me back on the road. Thank you!!!
