Owner told me the reason my vehicle was not done right or even safe to drive was he had a highschool kid doing the work on it. And he did not check his work. Had new shackles put on my truck and not only was it missing bolts but the ones they managed to get in were not even hand tight. Had I known this before hand I never would have taken it there. Not sure how this guy is still in business.Service: Steering & suspension replacement

I had my thermostat go out while passing through Evanston. They found a way to get me in the shop in less than an hour, had me back on the road in about an hour and a half total. Charged a really fair price. I can't say enough good things about this shop and the people that work there. Thanks again for getting me back on the road so quick.

Our RV battery went out on I80 and our tow truck driver recommended him to us. He welcomed us in shorty after close and even gave us and our dogs a ride to the motel. By 11:30 the next day he had replaced our alternator and had us back on the road. Very nice man, fair price, and our RV goes faster up hill than ever before. Thank you so much Chad!Service: Battery

These guys are AMAZING! I had issues with my torque converter while on a trip to the Midwest. Everyone, including these guys, were booked out weeks. They took the time to diagnose the issue so I would know if I could continue to drive the vehicle without causing additional damage. On top of squeezing me in immediately they didn't charge me anything! I gave the mechanic a tip for being soooo AWESOME and helping a guy out. I HIGHLY recommend them!

Best shop in town, nicest people you'll ever work with. Chad literally worked on my gmc yukon finding a computer/electrical problem for days to the point it probably haunted his dreams, but he did not give up on it followed the pathway found the problem and got it fixed. It was done in a timely fashion and they didn't add extra fees even with it being a bigger pain in the butt then they or I had expected.

My son was going back to Sheridan,Wy for college from Nevada, he broke down in Evanston,Wy. I contacted Chad s auto and had the truck towed there. 100% recommend this shop. Excellent customer service and outstanding service mechanics! Would give this place 6 out of 5 stars of I could.Our 2005 Ford F250 (6.0L) blew a rubber hose to the turbo while driving across country. It was around 4PM and the amazing folks at Chad's were able to squeeze us in and replace the part within less than 45 minutes from the time we showed up to the time we pulled away. And the cost was extremely reasonable. Can't speak highly enough about this shop.

Thanks to Chad's Automotive and the staff! We were traveling through Evanston and had a serpentine belt break. They were able to get us in quickly and repair the car fast so we could get to our destination. Great service and at a very fair price!!! THANKS AGAIN!!

We were traveling from MN to Cali hauling a camper when our check engine light came on and put our truck in limp mode. Went first thing when Chad's opened to get help. He was booked out a week and a half but ran the trouble code for us and told us what to order and how to fix. The Auto Zone in town delivered the part and even lent us the tool we needed!!! So grateful for their help and we made it to Cali with no other issues!!!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

We had a pretty significant oil leak in one of our vehicles. Big O Tires here in Evanston said it was the rear main seal leak that would cost up to $3000 to get fixed. I wanted to get a second opinion so I took a here to Chad's automotive and I'm glad that I did. These guys were able to get my car fixed as timely as they could while waiting for a part to be delivered. Come to find out, it was not a rear main seal and the price tag for the fix was in the $200 range, a fraction of what I was about to be charged at Big O before I decided to get a second opinion. Never go to Big O, stick with Chad's.

The people here are absolutely amazing. My dodge broke down as we was traveling from salt lake city back home to casper. They ordered the part for us got it in the next day and had my truck up and running in no time at all. They also gave me a ride to the hotel and picked us up after it was repaired and on top of that the total was under the quote they gave me which was reasonable already. Fantastic people in an amazing shop that goes above and beyond. Highly recommend them.

They lady in front had a poor attitude over a mistake she made when writing down my phone number,then not being able to reach me. If she can write a phone number wrong, could she make a mistake on a $5,000 bill? I chose to give my money to another shop. Not because she wrote my number wrong, but because of her attitude. I did like Chad though he was a nice person to talk to.

if you have ANYTHING wrong or need maintenance on your vehicle this is the place to go. they are so kind, professional and chad found something broken in my jeep that 2 dealerships missed. unbelievable talent with vehicles. we are so grateful to chad and his crew.

While traveling to California my Corolla started acting up, and we were towed to Chad's Automotive on the recommendation of the tow truck company representative. They were able to look at my car first thing in the morning and when they were unable to find anything wrong, did not charge us for the diagnostic work. They were willing to change my oil that morning at my request and completed the job promptly so we were able to get back on the road before noon. Highly recommend for any auto needs!

I broke down passing through to minnesota and was scared of being taken advantage of like so many businesses do to travelers but I limped it over to Chad s and he and Shawna were the nicest dang folks you d ever care to meet. Super helpful and VERY reasonable. Can t recommend them highly enough. Thanks!

On 7/9/18 Chads Automotive did a fuel pump replacement on my wife's Tahoe. She was traveling through Wyoming with our 2 children and it was not a good situation to be in. I was able to talk to Chad about my concerns over the phone. They recommended and installed a high quality Delphi pump to replace whatever garbage pump the previous owner of the Tahoe had installed 40k ago. Normally, I do all my own auto repair work. In this situation being over 9 hours away to help, I am very grateful that we found Chad's Automotive. The quote was much less than Anderson and I was shocked that the final price came in less than our estimate. Car repairs are not cheap, it's nice to know there's a place that has great service, fair and honest pricing even for desperate highway travelers in a dire situation.

While enroute to California, my Ford 4x4 pickup developed bearing problems in the front wheel hub. I found Chad's Automotive and Chad actually rode with me and confirmed the noise was a bearing. They scheduled to do the repair the next day. What I found out was that the shop mechanics repaired my truck that night after hours. I was on the road again early the next morning. I was very happy with the service and cost of repair. It is a professional shop, and they are easy to talk with. My truck is running great and I highly recommend them.

When I first went in I was told after putting their machine on I was told the bill was going to be $180. After them having my truck for 24 hrs somehow it went up to $3300. The receptionist is rude and thinks she knows it all. I had previously had another mechanic shop do some work and she called me a liar saying that this particular shop didn't do that kind of work. When I went back to first shop and ask about it she was on the phone complaining about me her name was Shauna. Other that they got my truck running!

Great people. The transmission went out in our truck. They got fixed under quoted price. Chad even went out of his way and towed our rv to an rv park.

I would highly recommend Chad's Automotive. We were traveling through Wyoming back to Colorado when my power steering pump blew on my Toyota Sienna. Chad's did a great job helping find the Toyota pump and fit us right into their schedule and has us back on the road by the next day.

If I could give them zero stars I would.They agreed to give me $200 for my totalled vehicle.I gave them my information and they said I would get a check in the mail.IT HAS BEEN OVER A YEAR AND I STILL NEVER GOT ANY MONEY.I did call numerous times, but when I told them what happened they asked me to hold. They hung up the phone. In my experience they are a dishonest business and I would never recommend their services.

We live full time in our RV and as we came into Evanston for a stay I had my brake petal sink to the floor. Got into the RV park and saw a wet streak behind the RV. Brake fluid was leaking as brakes were applied. Got parked and found I couldn't get cap off master cylinder to check level. Was recommended to call Chad's and explained the problem. They came out, found the problem and got the parts needed to repair the brakes and fixed the problem on site. Did a great job and at a very reasonable price. If you have a problem in or near Evanston, WY Call Chad's. I highly recommend them for service and reasonable costs.

My family of 4 was on our way back home to California when our Volvo XC90 broke down on 80 near Evanston, and we were towed to Chad's. That was a blessing, because Chad and everyone at his shop couldn't have been kinder and more helpful. The news on the Volvo was bad, but that wasn't they're fault, and they made the situation as painless and stress-free as possible. They went above and beyond -- getting us an answer as quickly as possible, providing a ride to the U-haul location, and setting up the Volvo onto the trailer -- and wouldn't take me up on my offer of an extra payment. We're forever indebted to Chad.

While moving from WA to OK, our Dodge Ram lost a front wheel-bearing on a Sat. night in Evanston WY while pulling a fully loaded cargo trailer. We were able to nurse it to a local motel (Prairie Inn) located across the street from Chad s Automotive. Sunday morning we called Chad s and was surprised that he answered. He indicated that if the truck could be at the shop on Monday morning he would do his best to give it priority. We received a call just before noon on Monday letting us know it was ready to go. My husband, being a certified Cummins technician, appreciated a professional repair at a fair price especially given the circumstances. In our opinion, if you need automotive repairs or maintenance in Evanston, this is the place to go!

Broke down on the side of the highway in the middle of a 5hr drive. I give my highest recommendation. If you break down on I-80, and are from out of town, like I was, not knowing anybody, know that you are in goods hands with people you can trust at Chad's Automotive. I am thankful the tow tuck driver recommended them!
