I called everyone. SJ customs got me in. Fixed my window and door. Rad crew and great service.

Sean helped me out with a bad fuel filter install I'd received at another shop, out of state. He was knowledgeable, glad to help, and the job was completed in the time specified. That was the last good experience I had there. Since then, I was charged $250 to fix some motor mounts, and they weren't able to complete the job after 6hrs, and 2 bolts were left out. (another shop got 'em in). I took it in another time when the truck was running really bad, and asked them to diagnose it. They charged $158, found nothing. They said they couldn't replicate the problem, and my receipt didn't mention any items they'd checked, or tests they'd done, only that it was a little low on oil. (which it wasn't. I imagine they checked it after driving it into the shop, and the oil wasn't in the pan.) Having done business with them on many occasions, we had truck trouble again (same issue popped up) and they were closest. We called them, told them we were broke down, smoking, and needed help. They said "We're full, the soonest we'll be able to even LOOK at your truck, would be a couple of days, and possibly a week to fix it." they didn't even offer to call a tow truck. So, based on my experiences, I'd use them for simple maintenance only. They're nice guys, but look elsewhere for anything requiring technical skill or effort. (By the way, the problem affecting the truck was diagnosed in 5 minutes, by a mechanic who worked out of his home. A bad injector wire/connection, which is supposedly common on LML diesels.)Service: General repairs & maintenance

Amazing shop with great folks. I am new to the area so i needed to ask a lot of folks where to get my car fixed and all of them said SJ. They weren't wrong. They work fast and are incredibly honest about their work. Totally worth the cost.

Was on vacation in Thayne and blew a shock. Sean got the parts in and came in on the weekend on Saturday and Sunday to make sure repairs were completed. Customer service was excellent as well as his knowledge! So grateful to have found these guys! They were extremely helpful, willing to work us in as we were on vacation, found the part we needed and did an excellent repair on our 19 yr old diesel excursion, plus they charged less than we thought they would. They could have gouged us on the price since we were in a bind, but they were honest and very fair. Thank you so much!

The quality of work and attention to detail given by SJ Customs owner Sean & his crew is unprecedented in the area. Sean's wealth of knowledge and dedication to each and every vehicle is why this business deserves the 5/5 rating given. My family and I as well as the businesses we work with and for have taken several vehicles to SJ Customs (all different makes and models) and our expectations have been exceeded every time. The best repair / performance shop in Star Valley. Sean's knowledge and skill is unprecedented in the area. He is definitely setting a new high standard for automotive repair facilities. From maintenance to more extensive repairs, his attention to detail is amazing. My experience involved performance upgrades to my 2015 Duramax and I couldn't be happier. Honest and reasonably priced.....Sean will not disappoint!!

Living in Star valley it can be hard to find a mechanic, let alone a good one! SJ customs has knowledgeable staff, they are friendly and patient, and I recommend them to everyone I know because of the quality of service and repairs they offer

Sean is a young guy but really knows his stuff. I've had several shops tell me I needed injectors to fix my diesel fuel rail problems. Turns out there was a little leak he fixed with a plug. He saved me several thousands of dollars. Also, he found cracks in my front disc brake rotors. Wow, fixed a big safety issue. I highly recommend SJ Customs for doing things RIGHT.
