Great gas prices despite the oil executives price gouging us! Super friendly staff, awesome trinkets and crafty local snacks. Also, very good ice cream. Of course the Jackalopes are fun too! An experience worth having

So.... A long long loooong time ago when I was driving around the country looking at mountains and stuff I drove through this little town. One of my family members yelled out, "LETS GO TO THAT PLACE!" I turned around and yelled back," HECK YEAH LETS DO IT!!" So me, aunt Milly, sister Sara, brother Him, little nephew Burt and little niece Burtette all went in. We left Grandpa Poopy Pants in the car, he doesn't like going anywhere.... None of us know why he comes on vacation with us.Anyways we were just needing to stop to pee and maybe get a drink and maybe a whatnot or two. Turns out that this place has a bit of everything. I bought a magnet that is still on my refrigerator today. Says something about this whole town is high... Elevation 6900 ft. We spent quite a while in the store looking around. Forcing the niece and nephew to sit on the oversized Jackalope. It's really fun but it's far to big to be a real Jackalope ...(I know a real Jackalope named Samuel L Jefferson, he's from Illinois. You wouldnt think Jackalopes are in Illinois but Samuel told me that Illinois is an awful state and no one thinks to look for them there.)I don't remember too much else about the store, other than they have a large selection of a lot of different stuff. And the guy working the money box was a nice man if memory serves. One thing I do remember, were the beautiful mountain views in and out of this town.If you are still reading this review, that's cool and so are you. But if you find yourself at this place, tell them Gutter sent ya. They don't know me and it won't get you notin but a strange look. And that's something you can hold dear to your soul for the rest of your life!Ps. I love youWas a sad movie that made me cry... So much... Like over and over. I hate that movie.... But this store, I like.*All names in the above review were changed to protect the" innocent"!

This place is so much fun, the lady running the show made it so worth the stop! She is friendly, personable, knowledgeable and a wonderful woman to just chat with. I only wish I had gotten her name and contact info. My college friend and I were on an adventure and made sure we stopped at Country Store on our way back through to home. We were going to buy a pie! Yes PIE! Unfortunately, they didn't have any this day, lol. Next time! We bought great fudge and utilized their very nice, clean facilities. A room of T-Shirts is a must stop to see, and remember, there may be a Big Foot around any corner! ~Best stop in all of Wyoming!

Great family pit stop. Clean bathrooms, cool souvenirs, and a jackalope you can ride! I also got a picture with Bigfoot. We were welcomed by a very cool gal named Rhonda and her border collie.I dare you to walk out without a t shirt. I tried and failed. Just a great selection of stuff.

Pumped gas one pump 1. It took over 20 minutes to fill my 12 gallon tank. There is no pay at the pump option. The inside of the store is very crowded and claustrophobia inducing, the narrow doorway and isle to the cashier makes it difficult to navigate in and out of the store if there are any other patrons in the store. But the thing that makes this a one star review is the fact that the pumps DO NOT SHUT OFF when your tank is full. Gas overflowed my tank and ran down the side of my vehicle. It wasn t until I heard the splashing on the ground that I realized the pump was just going to keep going. Such an extreme safety hazard and a waste of money and time. I ll never return to this gas station.

Two years ago, I was in a outdoors group who would frequent this store as our clothes were being washed in the laundry mat. We often ate ice cream and chocolate there. To this day, I ve never had better ice cream and especially huckleberry ice cream (huckleberry dreamin was my go to). If you are even passing through this store, please please stop her it will be worth your while.

Meh. I thought the Jackalope was an actual creature and came in wanting to learn more about it (thought this was similar to the Big Horn Sheep Center a short distance away). Probably should have Googled it first lol. There is some fun merchandise with some fun humor. The giant dolls might be fun for small kids. They do let you climb on the displays. I would not be upset if I missed this on my next trip here.

Going to be honest, this was a fun place to look around. Biggest struggle was the line for pictures. No one was quick. The worse was a group that let their 11 year old sit on the jackalope and just chat for 20 minutes or more; we ended up leaving without pictures. Staff did nothing, good thing my kids understand manners are becoming a superpower parents don't teach their kids anymore.

If you want the best homemade ice cream on the planet, go here and check out the freezer next to the cold drinks. Chocolate Peanut Butter and regular Peanut Butter were simply amazing. Big selection of bakery quality chocolate treats as well. Plus, a jackalope!

I never met a jackalope I didn t like, and they have the most impressive collection of such local wildlife as I ve seen since crossing paths with a Sasquatch while hiking the Big Rock Candy Mountains a few years back. A must stop for anyone passing through, young, old, or bold.

Interesting little place, love all the jackalope art and taxidermy, they also have awesome chocolate macadamia turtles. I think it s worth the stop, however if you re planning on getting gas know that you can t pay at the pump.

Unique! Rare! I can't believe how big it is! If you are in search of Jackalope gifts and swag, this is the place to stop! If you can think of it, they've got a jackalope on it. Some of the art pieces were very cool too. The kids have a blast. They think I'm crazy. Obviously the big one is exaggerated, but they have many real ones to prove them wrong. Lots of giggles on this stop. Was well worth our time.

We stop here every time we go through Dubois. Normal convenience store stuff plus a great selection of fudge and chocolates. Staff is friendly and they don't judge me for eating dark chocolate peanut butter cups at 8am.

I made the mistake of telling them that one of their coffee blends tasted bad. My wife asked if I could pour it out and pick a different blend. The woman there, said " no way that coffee is too expensive." Then my wife took a sip of her coffee and it was cold. she told the woman working there,"this is cold." the woman working there looked amused and exclaimed the the "mocha" my wife had chosen was "iced coffee" not "hot". then she began laughing as if it were the funniest thing that had happened in that podunk gas station for past decade. Then she said to a local , "she put cold coffee in her cup." and they both began to laugh. my wife and I just stood there looking back at them, incredulous. my wife then said .."well it does not say cold, it only says mocha, " she told the rude gas station worker woman. then she (my wife) tried to heat if up in their microwave but had no success "I will pour it out and just buy another cup."she said, but the woman walked over and lectured her about how she did not know how to use the microwave, grabbed the cup put it back in the microwave and then turned the dial up to approximately 5 minutes. and walked off. so then my wife thought well I will buy some lottery tickets as long as I have to be here another 5 minutes. the tickets came to 22 dollars and my wife gave her a 50 dollar bill. she looked up at her and said" You know it is too early for me to be making change for a bill that large."So, here is my review and advice.1. I was spending over 60 dollars there, I don't think a free cup of coffee would break the bank2. You were rude and unhelpful, tourists are your bread and butter, so stop being rude3. Of course I don't know how your microwave works, or how your coffee carafe's are marked, or what time of day you can accept a 50 dollar bill. so don't be so rude!Don't go here people , unless you want to be told off and laughed at. My wife and I travel quite often and this is by far the rudest place of business we have encountered, bad coffee , bad attitude = bad business

Absolutely terrible customer service. I was looking through the shop, my elderly mother needed to use the restroom - they wouldn t let her until I d made a purchase. After I made a purchase, and let the owner know I would have bought more, but my mother really urgently needed the restroom, he told me if I wanted to get nasty, they wouldn t let us use the restroom anyway - and they were just being nice - everything is really overpriced - 2.70 cokes ... and the owner is a jerk - pass this place...

I was pretty appalled by this place. When I went in, I was the only customer in the store. I bought my things, stepped into the bathroom and, when I came out, there were 15 people inside the cramped space - no one was wearing a mask, even though there's a sign on the door requiring masks and stating no more than 9 people at a time. The workers were complaining about how stupid they thought the mask rules were and that they were "so over this sh**." I got out of there and I won't be back.

If you like jackalopes, this is the places for you. They have mounted jackalopes made from real rabbits and fake rabbits (take your pick). Take a picture with the enormous jackalope in the back of the store. They also have the usual commodities you'd expect at a gas station. Overall an amusing stop.

Staff was polite to us but the items are expensive and there's waaaaay over priced tshirts for the shirts low quality. Chocolate was good but also over priced.

Hokey, yet quaint and cute if you're into jackalope lore and regional trinkets/clothing. Otherwise, pretty much a typical convenience store.
