Stayed here for almost two weeks last summer during my cross country trip. Picked a spot along the back away from the road which cost a little more but was well worth it. The restaurant onsite was pretty good, the location was close enough to Yellowstone and Cody to enjoy both, plenty of good hiking trails outside of the National Park for my dogs to get out and enjoy nature with me, the owner even recommended a few really good ones. Overall, this was one of the best spots I stayed at all year!

Our stay was really nice and enjoyable! We we're blown away by the balcony view and the views of property. The customer service was excellent. Everyone was so polite and helpful and wore smiles the whole time. I know they have staffing problems in the past but we we're really grateful to show up and have the staff available for everything that was offered. The front desk helped anytime we needed anything. The breakfast options we're ok. My sons boiled eggs we're not good but he threw them away before telling me and letting me take them to get exchanged for better ones. The coffee options we're excellent. We didn't take avantage of dinner. My children enjoyed the hot tub. I liked that the property has fire pits for you to use their wood at their cost anytime. The only things that would have been better was the smell of the rooms we're funky somehow. We had to open doors and air it out. We had two rooms. One was suppose to come with a mountain view and it only had tiny windows. That was really disappointing especially after seeing our other room with a balcony view and the other rooms that we're available that they didn't give us. The laundry was really pricey. After being at another hotel and them charging $1 to $2 for loads and being charged $4 a load here that was really a kick in the gut. Lastly, the balcony flooring really needs to be fixed. It was very unsafe and I was afraid we would have an accident. I brought it up to the staff.

We stayed in the motel portion of this park and were very impressed. This is in a beautiful location with mountain views, the rooms were spacious and clean, and the decor gave it a nice lodge feel. Service is scarce and the Wi-Fi doesn t work, but that is all part of the experience in my opinion. Also laundry was a nice perk after a long road trip.

A great place to stay with nice rooms and handmade furniture. Located just a half-hour drive from Cody, it offers stunning scenery and cozy, well-maintained cabins, although phone and data service may be lacking. Located on the east side of the east gate of Yellowstone Valley National Park, the site overlooks the North Fork Shoshone River. It's worth noting that the nearby town of Cody conveniently offers all the amenities of a large city.

The overall experience was great! We loved it there, except for the part that we returned to are rv spot around 130am & someone took are sewer hose & water hose, we asked are neighbors they said they never seen it when they got back. The maintenance man apparently goes around steals your stuff while your gone he brought it back to our neighbors but wouldn't come to us. So they may need to get rid of that one he told the neighbors that he was trying to clean up. WHAT thief is what's that's called.

Nice camp ground located half way between east gate of Yellowstone and Cody. Used it as our base camp for four days in area. Would use it again. Nice sized sites with great views in all directions. Visited Yellows, and Cody Western Museum, as well as Buffalo Bill Dam, wouldn t change the visit at all loved the area. Price was reasonable.

The stay was overall ok. The pool was filthy. Honestly we used the net and watched 2 other families use the net to fish out debris and junk before swimming. Maintenence guy claimed the it was heated and set to 81 degrees. It was definitely not. The hot tub was nice and in a cool area. However, it has a normal household sliding door on it and it's open everytime we drove by which is a bit concerning considering there's small children running around.. we stayed in the rv park for 4 days. The rv park is almost 100% gravel, And is rough. Very unappealing and uninviting. I understand it's probably hard to get something to grow, but I feel like some turf and decorations or plants of some kind would go a long way to make the park feel like you got your $100 a night out of it. Also keep the dust down. The views from the park are stunning, and I feel like with money put into it, or a more ambitious team it could be amazing. The staff that we did encounter were pleasant. However, the wifi that is advertised does not work at all. Like other reviews it would not connect anywhere in the park, and the maintenance guy, as well as the front counter person both said don't bother trying because it never works.. a bit misleading.. that should be fixed or removed from your ads. Overall, I would stay again, but not at that price.

Rustic Western, very clean and updated RV park/motel/restaurant on the east side of the Yellowstone Valley National Park east gate. Overlooks the North Fork Shoshone River (log chairs thoughtfully arranged to view). Outdoor pool, playground, and lawn games. Ample space between RV sites, super-clean private bathrooms and shower rooms. Bar, restaurant and coffee bar. We stayed for a month. The town of Cody is only 10 miles to the east, and a fun visit. The Cody Rodeo is an all summer's long event. Enjoy!Food & drinks: Western bar. Wyoming beef, bison and chicken served for dinner. Vegan option on request.Noteworthy details: Four Bear hiking trail across the street. Buffalo Bill Reservoir close by if you like water sports. Ranch setting. Town of Cody about 19 miles to the East.

Made reservations and upon doing so my credit declined told rep not to run my credit card and that I would have to contact cc company. Called back and rep told me she re-ran my cc at which she was instructed not to. Basically they charged my cc for one night and would not refund me.They other thing is once I got to WY and saw the actual RV place is out in the middle of nowhere and hardly any rv's there.

The service there was friendly and helpful. There rooms were clean and easy to find. The breakfast was "one of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had" says my husband. It's a little laid back, probably because of the time of year we went, but that means things aren't exactly as posted. For example, the restaurant was supposed to be open until 9:30, but was closed when we tried at 9pm. It didn't bother us too much, as we had food in our cooler. Overall, a good place to stay for our Yellowstone visit!

Park was over half empty, so they put us on the row next to the hwy nothing but road noise. Restaurant was not worth throwing to our dog told the waitress that I wasn't happy she said she was getting that a lot . Would highly recommend not staying to many GOOD places close

We hear very good service during our stay in late July. We stayed in the motel which was very clean and we had a great view of the Shoshone river from our deck. It was also a great place to see the night sky. Wow, all the stars you can seen when you re not in the city. We ate at the dining room on site, the staff was very friendly and the food was good.

Small cabin was very overpriced and the AC barely worked. Bath tub had hair in it when we checked in. It was late and I just cleaned it myself. I understand they were short staffed, but I still feel as if that was a huge oversight due to the quantity of hairs that were found. Most all of the employees were very friendly. The restaurant was overpriced as well, but the food was really good in my opinion, and our server was great. The coffee shop was a nice touch, and I thought the coffee was great. Hot tub and pool were clean.

I have mixed feelings about this place. Stayed here two weeks. It's a gravel parking lot basically so it's hard to sit outside and enjoy anything as you're sitting on rocks and cars stir up the dust around you. But the on site restaurant was so good! Friendly owners and staff. They are just good people. Pool and hot tub were clean and enjoyable. Nice gym. 30 minutes outside Yellowstone east entrance so can't complain. 20 minutes from Cody...again, can't complain. If they'd just invest in more trees and grass pads perhaps it be a perfect camping spot!Response to owner: most people do not want to sit outside the front office in Adirondack chairs for the evening. We did use them by the river a few evenings. Mostly, people want to enjoy their camper, have access to food and drink...maybe a bathroom. Most people want to sit in their own camp chair listen to music, light a fire and enjoy the view. So while the solution to sit in Adirondack chairs may seem plausible to you, I can assure you it's NOT to most campers. Secondly, if you can't (won't) invest in grass pads (astroturf???) at the sites then fine. Invest in a concrete pad that serves as a patio so there is somewhere solid to sit. Also...spray for mosquitos. That was the worst part of the whole stay!!!

Hot tub was dirty! Yuk! Steak was supposed to be Rib eye, wasn't. It was sirloin, yet they didn't adjust the price. Was so dry and over seasoned we had to smother it with gravyAsked for directions for the laundry room. Caretaker or manager replied, "Didn't you get a map?" Instead of politely telling us where it was at. He did after we said , yes but we don't have it with us. The laundry was about 20 ft away. The spot was a simple drive through slot with very tiny fire ring and picnic table. They won't let you access the river. Only some slots have a view. But they have a few sets of chairs on the perimeter to sit and look at the view.Breakfast was supposed to be continental and start at 6:30 am. We were there at 6:20 and waited till AFTER 6:30 , No signs of life .We needed to get going to Yellowstone to see the animals. So we ended up leaving with no breakfast. We were over charged and they were under staffed. $120.00 + for the night . The amenities were not worth it.Laundry wash $4.00 for a wash and $4.00 for a dryAsked people we met at the hot tub how the pool was . They said dirty ? I don't know we didn't end up going in either.Bar opened at 5pm . Dinner was a limited menu due to short on staff. A bottle of Corona was $3.75 which we thought was great. Bartender was nice .Would not stay there again for that price .

We enjoyed a fantastic Rib Eye steak dinner with all the trimmings included. The atmosphere is very Mountain Rustic. The staff were attentive and friendly! The patio out front was great for sitting and enjoying the mountain views while sipping your favorite beverage

Beautiful place. I didn't expect anything from this place and i end up blown away. The room was small, nice, clean and very comfortable. The western theme of this place was all over, from the outside to the room. The restaurant was good. I have to say i ate the best stakes (ribeye) i ever had. I had to have one every day. If I'll ever make it that area again probably this place will be 1st on my least. Yes the price it was so good. If i remember right it was half from whatever else was charging (what i found) from Cody to the park.

False advertising! Place was shut down over the Fourth of July!!! I paid for two night to stay here and NO customer service? This was enormously inconvenient and I would have never driven two days to stay here for the holiday had I known there was to be NO FOOD, NO COFFEE, WI-FI did NOT work. No additional towels, no trash removal.Had to drive 20 miles to the next resort to feed my kids.I think it would have been great if it wasn t shut down over the 4th of July. The property is really cool. It was so disappointing to have it closed. I paid FULL price and had NOT one amenity or any customer service. The morning I checked out the front desk staff returned to tell me that s the Fourth of July for you .

Disappointing experience overall. In fairness, it is not so much of the fault of the ownership but the difficulty of finding employees during this time that led to a less than satisfactory experience. Breakfast choices for two mornings included a bagel with cream cheese, fruit cup, and coffee. Thursday dinner was an overpriced buffet that cost $27 a person (not including drink or dessert) with no discount if you are staying at the motel. The beds were small and there was no service for the room (had to pick up towels and toiletries at the front front desk). The employees were courteous and friendly. I would not visit there again until the Yellowstone Valley Inn has returned to full operations. It's better to go an extra 15 minutes into Cody and you'll find better options that are less expensive.

Had to find a last-minute spot, did not disappoint! Stayed here for 5 days. Friendly staff, happy to answer questions & get us extra items as needed. People w/ room complaints..seriously?! Plenty of room to make due. Clean, mini fridge, microwave, mini coffee maker, Wi-Fi, etc. & the price was very fair. Also - great location between Cody & Yellowstone. They have a cute grassy oasis behind the main building (you can't see it from the road really), with horseshoe toss/yard games, standing barbeque grills (you supply charcoal) and fire pits with garden seats. Their gym was great - nice equipment, clean, could get a solid workout in. You could tell they care about the property. Would definitely come back.

First off the staff at the saloon/restaurant are great and work their tail off as they are obviously over staffed. The property is very nice as well. The only issue I had was being on the end site so all my hookups were in the large rock bed (as in, the rocks are large) so it s precarious running sewage over the mini-boulders.It s expensive. The price for an RV spot is reasonable for the proximity to Yellowstone but the expense is in the amenities. Breakfast only runs 6:30-9:30 despite the conflicting information on the provided map. We showed up at 9:37 and the only option was muffins from a box, string cheese, and yogurt. No problem, we just grabbed some muffins. 3 coffees and 3 grocery store boxes muffins was about $24. Bring pounds of quarters. It s $8 per load to wash and dry. There s no change machine and the office is closed at random throughout the day so don t expect to be able to get more change. The website says the store is open until 10pm but it was locked up by 8pm so we didn t get much laundry done. The restaurant is priced like a mid-tier steakhouse with lower tier food that has you waiting for 30-45 minutes for your entre. I don t blame the staff because there just isn t enough of them. The owner stated that she has explained to her staff that she could hire more people but they would have to split their tips more ways if they did so they should just work harder. The park was pretty empty for two of the three nights we were here and I really think the owners would enjoy more business and happier customers if they didn t gouge on the prices of amenities and hired a couple more staff to make it run smoother. I feel if you advertise Wi-Fi then it should work. It s not a matter of internet speed but the actual ability to connect to the router(s) from anywhere in the park. Even in the office you ll be lucky to get any kind of a consistent connection without being dropped off the Wi-Fi. Many RVers have to work on the road so we look for parks that advertise WiFi. If you re looking for a great proximity to the East Yellowstone entrance and a scenic full service RV park then this is a good pick just don t do laundry, eat, or drink anything they sell and you ll be a happy camper.
