We stayed this past week in a cabin for a family Yellowstone trip and couldn't be more pleased! The cabin was beautiful and very comfortable, the view from the window was awesome, and Erin was so nice! We also got to hang out with her dog some nights, which was great. The site is about half an hour from Yellowstone, and the only issue is trying to find the right driveway at night! It was a wonderful experience and we will ABSOLUTELY be back!!

While this review is a little overdue, it is not due to our experience. We stayed in the Remington Cabin for 10 nights in the beginning of June. Prior to our arrival. All communications and correspondence with host Erin were answered promptly and to complete satisfaction. Upon arrival at the cabin we were very pleased with the cleanliness, location and overall appearance. It was everything we had hoped for with a beautiful scenic surrounding. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed for 10 nights. It had a great shower and big bathroom which typically is not the case in cabins, For someone that was hoping to do a lot of relaxing and absorbing of nature, its location was perfect. My wife, myself and our 4 legged Willow truly enjoyed the property. Our furbaby was quick to meet the very well mannered Labrador Riley and a romance began instantly. Which I may add ,alleviated any homesickness our 9 year old dog was expected to experience. The location was great, halfway between Yellowstone & Cody. Nestled in the beautiful Shoshone National Forest , which is pet friendly I may add. Yellowstone's trails are off limits to pups(rightfully so), but trails in Shoshone NF allow dogs. During our stay, any requests were promptly handled by Erin, whether it be firewood our access to laundry. Our Stay at Mountain View Resort was perfect.Nearby activities: 5 minutes inside of YNP East entrance look out Big Horn Sheep. Horseback riding nearby. Rodeo, Shooting Range & Raft trips. Atv rentals etc. in Cody

Great location - about 30 minutes east of Yellowstone NP and about the same to Cody WY. Erin met us as we drove in, led us to our drive-thru site (w full hookups), made us feel very welcome. The Wi-Fi didn t reach our site well, but we walked down to the restaurant if we needed internet access. INCREDIBLE VIEW at the campsite - mountains in both directions. Great neighbors too. Loved our visit here.Nearby activities: Easy access to Yellowstone NP and places to the east toward Cody

If you are looking for a convenient location to access both the East Yellowstone entrance and Cody this is it. We stayed mid May 2021. This is the closest RV sites to Yellowstone on the East side as best as I could tell. The owner Erin was very pleasant and welcoming. It's still somewhat of a work in progress, but for the price and location it's great. The view from our campsite was wonderful. It's not a big parking lot, and it's not fancy. They have full hooks ups with good power and water pressure.

I picked this campground for its location halfway between Cody and the east gate. We are here for 5 nights. My site is #2. It is a level gravel site with awesome views. It is quiet and laid back and exceeded my expectations. Erin is accommodating and responsive. I have not eaten here yet as there is so much to do around here. There is a place for dinner 1.5 miles away Bill Cody Ranch which was a neat place to go and convenient after a day at Yellowstone. You can do one loop in a full day there are 2 loops and both are open. Having an awesome time. I highly recommend Mountain View and would stay here again

We stayed at Mountain View Resort last May for our Yellowstone vacation. It was a great location and had an amazing view. We rented the main cabin for our family and our stay was perfect. Erin was so helpful with any questions we had. Hope to come back someday!

We stayed here for 3 nights to go see Yellowstone. The drive into the park from here is about 25 miles, but was beautiful. The cabin itself was very clean, comfortable and roomy. It had everything we needed all we had to take was our food, drinks and clothes. The only reason I took one star off was because we were looking forward to eating in the restaurant one night of our stay and it was closed for the season so we had to go to a different location down the road. Other than that, the cabin was perfect, the views were wonderful and the location was great!!

Loved our stay here. Beautiful views and great accommodations. The restaurant on site is terrific! The biscuits and gravy are delicious, and I m a southerner with high standards for the dish. And the homemade pies they sell by the slice are so very good. I had orange creamsicle and the peanut butter cup and they were both excellent pies. Highly recommend! And a good place to stop and have breakfast if you re driving from Cody to Yellowstone, even if you aren t staying here.

I love this place. This is the second year that I ve had the opportunity to stay and it feels like coming home. The scenery is stunning. The RV sites boast full hook ups and gravel pads. The hosts are wonderful and knock themselves out to make their visitors comfortable and happy. Add the close proximity to the East gate of Yellowstone and you have the perfect package!

Rented two of the cabins in August and enjoyed the place very much. Erin is a great host and addressed all of our needs when we asked. You can not beat the proximity to the National forest and access to the East entrance to Yellowstone. The views from this location are stunning!

Location is nice, great views. We actually stayed in a cabin here about 6 years ago, and loved it. The RV area is a totally different story, it's dirt and gravel, no grass in sight. The actual sites are VERY small, our trailer barely fit. We booked months in advance, and still were assigned the very worst site, on a steep incline that was almost impossible to back into without jack knifing, no place to park our truck after we disconected. There is no TV reception, no cable offered. It's not a nice place to "camp". We stayed for less than an hour, then found a beautiful site at Buffalo Bill state park for 1/2 The price.

We haven't actually stayed here yet, but had reservations in May until Covid. Erin has been the most awesome host ever, being so patient while we were waiting on a work decision for me and the vacation, changing our dates without any penalty and going out of her way to make this trip work for us. I cannot wait to stay, but even if we never went here, without ever meeting her in person I can absolutely say she has been the best site owner we have ever encountered.

Awesome Views. Great staff we were extremely late getting in and they were more than happy to help us get into spots for the night, a little tough to get into late at night with a pull behind camper, so make sure you have enough daylight to get setup. And don't forget to have breakfast at the small bakery/ Diner in front, you won't be disappointed with The biscuits and Gravy some of the best I've had on the road, all home made food that is Great! THANKS FOR THE GREAT EXPERIENCE!

We had a lovely view. The hostess was occasionaly quite helpful but not when the mice came . There were times we couldn't make contact with the host or hostess at all. And the worst part was when mice came into our cabin in the middle of the second night. My girls freaked out and when I called the hostess, I was told, "There are mice traps under the sink. Make sure the doors are open to under the sink, and I'll try to deal with this in the morning." There was no offer of alternate lodging for the night. My daughters and I slept in the car, and mostly did not sleep. At 7:00 in the morning, we found a restaurant for breakfast and left. What could have been an absolutely amazing experience, turned horrific and miserable and the host and hostess offered no real help and as far as I know, no compensation. This could have been a lovely experience if:1) the cabin was sealed so that rodents couldn't get in.Short of spending the money on that2) as soon as I called, alternate, rodent free lodgings found and offered to us and help moving in.As it was, I was essentially told to hope that the mice found their way to the mice traps, and I'm pretty sure the hostess went back to sleep.

Beautiful park with amazing views. No pool, which was a bummer for my kids though. Halfway between Cody and Yellowstone. Amazing breakfast at great prices! Owners are very nice and accommodating

Another reviewer said it's like boondocking plus hookups. Low key place with only 15-20 spots. A nice breakfast cafe M-S. 25 miles from Yellowstone east gate. Weak wi-fi. Very nice, helpful owners.

We had breakfast here during our stay in Wapiti. The food was great and service friendly. The breakfast burrito was fantastic and enough for two people. We would definitely come back!
