On Easter Sunday as we were traveling through Cheyenne, WY, the fault code light came on in our Chevy Duramax. We spent the night in Cheyenne and found Patriot Diesel Service online with high ratings. Monday morning, we were at their shop when they opened. The tech performed the diagnostics, found the problem, and we were on our way in about an hour. The people are professional and courteous. The shop was very clean. Patriot Diesel has been my mechanic for the last 3 years and has provided absolutely the best service and experience for me and my 2010 Ram 3500 Cummins. From oil changes to transmission overhaul and getting my Mishimoto radiator, they have handled everything perfectly and professionally. I live in Colorado and drive my truck up to Cheyenne for service. That's how good these guys are. Without a second thought, I'd fully recommend Patriot to anyone who has a diesel and wants top-tier service.

On a Sunday afternoon while crossing into Cheyenne, Wyoming on I-80 my RAM 3500 diesel began to lose power with no check engine lights. After trying to attempt repairs on my own to remedy the suspected issue I found myself in need of a tow. Triple A recommended Big Al s and they quickly sent Chris out to haul my truck and the camper I was pulling out of harm s way. With me not knowing the best place to go, Chris recommended Patriot Diesel as the place he d take his truck, so I trusted his word. Once there I decided to spend the night in my truck in their spacious lot and emailed Patriot s website about my predicament. First thing that morning the shop manager, Carl came out and greeted me, offered me some excellent coffee, and immediately got his team to work attempting a correct diagnosis of the problem. He even took time to talk on the phone to my mechanic in order to gather all the background information he could. During this time he kept me up to date on what they were doing and their progress. They didn t throw unnecessary parts at it, they considered all potential sources of trouble, and I was very impressed with the entire shop s professionalism and attitude. This team is first rate, and I feel very fortunate to have had their help.

The guys at Patriot Diesel are awesome. # 8 injector went out on our way to Montana at the start of our family vacation. Carl and Stetson helped with getting my vehicle towed and provided prompt and quality service to get me back on the road as fast as possible. This year s vacation was most definitely saved by all of the guys at Patriot Diesel for sure. Thank y all so much for getting me back on the road. I know vans can be a pain to work on. Carl and all the mechanics there were super helpful. Very nice people to do business with and understanding. They got my 2000 f350 back in the road in timely manner and did a heck of a job. Would definitely recommend them if you re in the Cheyenne area and need work on your diesel.

Had an emergency pop up with our company truck, and the dealership we bought it from basically told us to pay extra and have it towed 1/2 mile away. Patriot Diesel was the next call I made, and they were ten times more pleasant to talk to over the phone, and they sent someone to our shop that day. Within 20 minutes, they had us up and running again. I will be calling Patriot Diesel and Automotive for all of our company fleet needs.

Omg best diesel shop I ve seriously ever been in and Ive been to many. Transporter passing through Cheyenne clutch fan went out they had us in and out within 2 hours. Not only was the service great they have some of the nicest people working there you ever want to meet.

I was having trouble with my 2012 Dodge C&C, I had gone through several tuners and been to another diesel mechanic that just kept resetting the computer. Couldn't seem to get anything to work and was getting pretty upset. I took it to Patriot and they called me back, explained what was going on and had a fix. Truck has been running great ever since. On a trip from Colorado to South Dakota with a fifth wheel the engine of our truck began to sound off- we stopped in Cheyenne at a different mechanic and they sent us to Patriot. The folks at patriot diesel stopped what they were doing to figure out what was going on, and were fair and upfront. They allowed us to set up our RV and spend the night while the truck was worked on, and had it ready to go noon the following day. We then had to make a trip to the hospital with the newly fixed truck, and they were kind enough to let us stay another night when we returned! We are so grateful for their excellent service and genuine human kindness. We love that we have someone trustworthy in our corner that we can call even from a different state! Highly recommend!

Dealership told me parts were on indefinite backorder, couldn t even give me an ETA. Patriot had me all fixed up less than a week for a lower price than the dealership was going to charge. Thanks guys!

I have used both the light duty and heavy duty side of this company. Josh, Keith, and Stetson were all helpful and amazing. I had the glow plugs changed on my 2002 Ford Excursion and the wheel bearings repacked on my 29' camper. They were fantastic about communicating and keeping me informed about what was going on. I will absolutely recommend them to anyone needing diesel work!

I had a great experience at Patriot Diesel Service! I was passing through Cheyenne when the bearing failed on my idler pulley. These guys were recommended to me by one of their customers I met at the fuel station I broke down at. I was on a tight schedule and they were able to fit me in and get me back on the road quickly. The replacement parts were high quality and the guys were awesome. I highly recommend Patriot Diesel Service if you re in Cheyenne.

Great team! They communicate with you every step of the way and have exceptional customer service! Can't say that for some of the other shops in town. They also take time and troubleshoot all of your concerns but don't automatically jump to expensive repairs. I brought them a second gen dodge that was an absolute wiring nightmare. Needless to say, the team at Patriot was able to diagnose and fix 95% of the issues in less than 8 hours. There are a few bugs to work out, but considering the condition of the wiring when I brought it into the shop, it is 1000% better.I will definitely be working with Patriot Diesel in the future to both work out the remaining bugs among other things. Their team is very professional and respectful of their customers.

We are full time RVers that were passing through Cheyenne. Had a fuel leak on the return line of our coach. I called up Patriot Diesel Service and they were able to get us in. They did an excellent job and even improved what was already in place. There tech Cody was very friendly and professional. The staff in general were great! I'd recommend Patriot for all your diesel repair needs!

The exhaust came apart and fell off my truck. The closest places to where it happened were full and couldn't get me in but recommended Patriot. I called them and was told to come in and they would look at it. This was a huge help as I needed to travel soon. He was not able to get it in for a full repair that day, but repaired it enough to get me through my travels until we could schedule an actual appointment; huge help. I have not owned this vehicle very long, nor have I owned a vehicle like it, so not only did my vehicle get temporarily fixed right away but they also took the time to talk to me and answer questions I had about my vehicle. We were moving from Washington state to Arkansas, pulling a 24' cargo trailer with my 7.3L F350. Blew the boots off the charge pipes while pulling a steep hill & screwed up the turbo. Limped into Cheyenne & sent a message at about 7pm to Patriot on their website. Carl texted me within the hour & told me come first thing in the morning.Stetson, Carl, & team went to work figuring out what was wrong & what our options were. My 7.3 is anything but stock, but they were able to identify everything needed to replace the custom turbo without compromising the tune. It would take about a week to get the parts & swap the turbo, & we had to keep moving across the country. They let us drop the trailer in their secure yard & hook up to their power to keep our freezer running until the truck was ready to roll again.I flew back to Cheyenne a week a later & Carl picked me up at the airport at 10pm & took me back to the shop. He helped me get hooked up to the trailer & on my way.My truck runs quieter, smoother, & has more power than ever! A LOT more power!I couldn't be happier with the service we received. It was an absolute blessing to find these guys in our time of need. God bless Patriot Diesel Service!

I had taken my truck to 2 other shops for some electrical/battery draining issues. Neither were able to figure out the root cause and just wanted to throw parts at it. I called patriot on a Friday and spoke with Carl and explained my frustration. He made room in his schedule to accommodate me to do some more troubleshooting. Within 5 mins these guys had it figured out. Donny is a badass mechanic and got it all resolved and gave me a full explanation. Carl and Donny took great care of me after all my frustration with other shops in town. They have earned my business and can' highly recommend them to everyone if they want to be in good hands! Top notch guys in a great shop! Thank you guys so much! Pricing was very fair as well!

Everyone here is amazing!! It's the only place that will take any of our cars that need work done. We had the ball joint broke while were driving, which caused a lot of damage. The shop was able to get the repair done in a matter of just a few days. Plus the cost was much cheaper than we thought it would be. I can't praise them enough. Thank you again for the amazing job you did on my car.

These guys are great! Broke down in SD and limped my way down to Cheyenne. Called around to a couple shops and decided on these guys. Boy am I glad I did. Super thorough service, and communicated every detail. Got me in on a Tuesday, left Thursday morning good as new! They also had a great portal for accessing your invoices, aswell as the ability to add notes and communicate with the techs. Would recommend anyone locally, aswell as truckers and light duty trucks coming through the area! Monday March 13, 2022 my family and I were traveling back home to Utah from a hunting trip in Nebraska. Just outside of Cheyenne our Chevy 2500 went into limp mode, we stopped on the ride of the rode to see what the issue was. We could not figure it out and the nearest Mechanic to us was Patriot Diesel Service. I gave them a call to see if they d be able to look at it for us and figure out the problem, they took us in a heart beat. When we got to the shop they figured out the problem. We ended up having rent a car one of the mechanics offered to give us a ride to our rental car so we didn t have for pay for a taxi. They also ended up staying after hours to make sure we got on our way with our rental car. while waiting in the shop they offered us food and drinks. the next day they had to drive to get the part we needed, ended up getting our trucked fixed in a record amount of time. this mechanic shop deserves more then a 5/5 rating!! can t express how thankful we are for them and there willingness to help us out!! thank you!!Service: Transmission

Was traveling through Cheyenne headed for Oregon pulling a 13.5k 5th wheel camper and was having overheating issues with our ford dually. Dealership was no help same as most shops it the area due to being backed up. Got a hold of Carl at Patriot diesel an he stood out in the rain to help us figure out what we needed to do and or start with...well he was right first try. Needless to say next time I have any issues in the Cheyenne area I know where I'm going. Thanks again Carl.

Since I have a unique engine build, I was not sure they would be able to help, but they took on the challenge and diagnosed the problem quickly. I was in and out and back on the road in no time!
