Brian and his team went above and beyond for me. I was having shifting issues in my car and after visiting another local mechanic that quoted me several thousand dollars for a new transmission, i took it to Cheyenne Transmission for a final opinion after hearing great things. Brian and his crew took the time to diagnose the root cause of the problem and gave me updates in their process and explained what they were doing. They ran tests on the ignition system, motor and vacuum lines before they even focused on the transmission. They eventually found that my transmission was in need of a little fluid top off. It solved my shifting issues completely. These guys are super knowledgeable and were up front and honest. At the end of the day, they saved me time and money and got to the actual problem instead of just jumping to conclusions. If youre looking for an honest shop that will give it to you straight and give you peace of mind, Cheyenne Transmission is the place to go. THANK YOU BRIAN AND CREW! You guys rock!

Great price for an auto service. Service also good, and the two technicians I spoke with were knowledgeable in general industry practices of automatic trans services.For a basic service they do not flush the transmission, which often can dislodge debris and wreak havoc.May have to call multiple times to get someone to answer.

This place went above and beyond to help me the best they could. Great set of guys, that do great work, and back it up. I d recommend them to anyone having issues they are able to help with. They will do all they can, or help you find who can. 10/5 stars

I had a catastrophic failure of me transfer case while climbing Sherman Summit. Of the shops in town, luckily I picked these guys. Everyone was friendly. I was just passing through on military leave and they knew I wasn t going to be a repeat customer.After Andy, the mechanic found the problem, Brian, the service manager found none in town. He search junkyards, parts stores- everywhere. iHe offered me a car to drive to Denver to pick one up or wait a day to have it shipped.They had a full shop of work, but were able to diagnose and get me a price quote in one hour.I took their offer, got the transfer case from Denver and was fixed and in my eWay by 4 pm.I m sure this is their daily routine, but I m not used to this level of service. These guys are the best. Very helpful and found a way to get me going. Thank you!

If I could give these fellas 20 stars I would!!! Cheyenne Transmission is awesome!!!! I work in senior care and need my vehicle to help my seniors get to health care appointments.What I thought was my transmission having issues, turned out to be a bad wheel bearing issue. They could have sent me elsewhere for repairs, leaving me stranded and my clients without care for the day.They hooked me up anyway, did the repair in a few hours and even sent me on my way with a loaner, even though I was planning on getting an Uber. The price was awesome too!!They went way be on the call of duty!!!!!Thank you so much, guys!!!!!!!!!

My husband and I brought a truck in that was reported to us as needing a new transmission from a different mechanic in town. We took it in to get a second opinion and these guys were friendly and honest that there was NOTHING wrong with the transmission and that it didn t need to be replaced. I will forever be thankful for this company! They helped me and my family while we were stranded on our way to Ohio. They took the time (even though it was raining and it was close to closing time) and figured out what was wrong with our suburban. Our newer Ford needed a new transmission & they were the only guys to get it done fast since we needed it back asap! We had our truck back in one week!! All other shops were months out!!! Our truck runs great now. Only small issue we had was it smelt like transmission oil inside when we got it back, but once we told them, Brian made it right, right away!! Well, it all started when my manual transmission decided it was going to throw a fit. I called up the local transmission behavior specialists ( Cheyenne transmission). If you haven't heard of them, you're not a local. Corey and Brian are great guys. I described to them my "trans"gressions, and they said to bring it on over, and they would see what was causing the fits. Well, it turns out that there were all sorts of parts and pieces that were worn out and just weren't "trans"itioning they way they should. After quoting me a reasonable price, I agreed to enroll it in a behavior modification repair program for about 2 weeks. It was old, (24) worn out, and just plain cranky, except it wasn't cranking much anymore after a short time of waiting on parts and pieces to come in, they called and said my transmission had graduated the program and was good as new. I picked it up, and I haven't had it throw a fit yet.Thank you, guys!

Great group of people. Called a month or so ago and asked if I could bring an NV4500 in just to get the 5th gear nut tightened, they said bring it in when I was ready. Brought it in today and the technician torqued the nut down while it was sitting on my tailgate. Didn't even have to leave it at the shop, and all they charged was the wish that I would have a nice day and do something kind for somebody else. They're more interested in helping people properly than overcharging, unlike most shops. I'd recommend their services any day.Service: Transmission

I want to let you all know that Brian at Cheyenne Transmission is AMAZING! He fixed the transmission in our Nissan Rogue. Cheyenne Transmission recently completed transmission work for me and went above and beyond to find the part (on back order so Jerry had to search for the part) and to get the work done very fast. I was told I needed a new transmission in my new vehicle. I decided against their advice and took my pilot to my local Honda dealership .... there is absolutely nothing wrong with the transmission. In fact, the vehicle is now Honda certified. I highly DO NOT recommend this shop!

Cheyenne Transmission did an affordable and excellent job my on my car. Another business in town wanted to charge my 1500 for work that didn't really need to be done. Cheyenne Transmission was honest and up front and I paid half of what the other business tried to charge me.

These guys did a great job with me truck. Cery affordable compared to the dealership that way over quoted (1300 dollars cheaper). They got it in and out quickly. Recommend to everyone.

Broken down in cheyenne all I needed was a $14 part they probly have a dozen of lying aronnd would not even hear me out "we don't sell parts" stay broke down.do what you want but I wouldn't give them a dime!!!! Thank you for response. i was upset that day on acct. lady would not even hear my plea . even a used th350 modulator valve could have gotten us home
