Wonderful people who go above and beyond. They were great at communicating and keeping us in the loop and so respectful. They were recommended to us by multiple dealerships and other shops. Going forward they will be the only place we take our vehicles to.

Brought my truck to this shop to have some work done on it, after a MONTH of them having my truck and not communicating with me, I finally got it back and It was in WORSE condition than when I took it in!! Had to take it to another ACTUAL reputable shop to have the negligent work that Second Wind did repaired!! AND I have documentation on the shoddy work they did! That s a quote from the shop that fixed it. They told me I should file a complaint with the BBB and maybe even look into legal action against them! I wouldn t let these guys touch a Tonka truck. Clearly, they are an incompetent shop!! I made the mistake of trusting the reviews for this shop that s why I initially took my truck there! but now after the awful experience I personally had with them and reading the other negative reviews that sound EXACTLY like my experience, I believe most of their positive reviews are made up! There s no way they have 4.6 rating. Wish they allowed for negative stars!

I am a Hotshot Trucker. While just leaving Casper Wyoming, I got 4 miles from town and blew my turbo going up a hill, Called these guys and they arranged a tow and got us to the shop just after closing, After sleeping there in the truck overnight, They had tons of trucks to be worked on the following morning but they got us in first thing and within 4hrs had a new turbo in as well as a new serpentine belt ! 4HRS !!! Amazing guys !!! love this shop ! Do not call anyone else for your diesel needs, this is the shop. Got us back on the road less that 24 hrs from the time my turbo blew, out. Couldn't be happier!

Second Wind performed some tuning on my truck recently, and the entire experience was excellent and easy to work through. Steve and his staff were incredibly helpful in educating me on the additions that I had made to the truck, and I will now exclusively take my RAM to them for any mechanical needs that I have.

These guys might be good mechanics, but that was not our experience. They removed and replaced parts in hopes of finally resolving the issue rather than finding and fixing the problem (that, it turns out, they created). They had our pickup for TWO MONTHS, charged us $1000, didn't even fix the issue, and communication was almost always initiated by us. They never let us know what was going on with our pickup unless we called to ask. They also told us it was fixed, but clearly didn't take it for a test drive because it was not, indeed, fixed. We took our pickup down the street to a different shop that found and fixed the problem within an hour and charged us $0. I'm so disappointed in Second Wind.

My 1983 BJ46 Land-Cruiser had recently undergone a restoration essentially sitting undriven for a year. My objective was to pick up my vehicle from Kansas (restoration location) and return home to Alaska. The initial stretch of the trip was uneventful until I arrived at Limon, CO.Embarking on the 2nd days travels I filled up with diesel and added a diesel additive to clean the fuel system immediately after my BJ46 felt over fueled and underpowered; maintaining 45 mph was difficult. I replaced the fuel filter in Cheyenne, WY with no change in performance.Very fortunate my travels brought me through Casper, WY to Second Wind Performance. Steve and Raleigh examined my BJ46 and diagnosed the issues as gumming fuel. I purchased their recommended fuel additive and based on their usage guidance the vehicle was fully performing after 3 tanks.Steve and Raleigh went above and beyond on this chance encounter and I am grateful our paths crossed. I would highly recommend anyone seeking knowledgable, genuine, and passionate expertise to contact Second Winds Performance.

Steve and Jay helped me through a major emergency. Passing through town and had a suspension failure and was stuck with a 25K LB fifth wheel. They both stayed late on a Saturday and only charged their normal labor rate. Would recommend them to anyone. True professionals! Thanks again!

Took my Chevy Duramax to them thinking my head gasket leak had gotten so bad that I needed it repaired. This was a 40+ hour project that I OK'd them to proceed on. Unfortunately, it was going to take some weeks to accomplish, which nixed a planned family camping trip. -- a few days later, the owner called to inform me that they'd found a leaking coolant hose, fixed it, and that I was good to go for now! -- Used my truck to pull a camper and it ran great: we had a wonderful camping trip!! -- I appreciate their honesty, willingness to listen to my priorities, and their excellent work!!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Once again Second Wind Performance went above and beyond expectations, I called on a Wednesday afternoon and they had my truck in and fixed by afternoon on Thursday. My wife's truck had emissions issues 3 days before needing to travel over 1000 miles for a funeral. Called and found out they were booked up but after talking with Steve he got the truck in first thing the next day and got it all fixed up properly. Everything that was installed was very clean and looks great. The truck runs flawlessly now. The customer service I experienced was over the top and i'll definitely be doing more business here in the future.

Was on my way to Grand Teton NP from Colo Spgs area pulling my travel trailer and the rear main seal let loose on my 06 Ram as I arrived in Casper, WY. SWP was recommended by the KOA where I was staying, and I called them and they said to come right in and they would take a look, even though it was near quitting time. They quickly confirmed it was the rear main seal. Steve was very understanding when I explained my situation and was able to fit me into their very busy schedule and I got my truck back by the following afternoon and was able to keep my vacation on track. I sincerely appreciate SWP fixing my truck and taking care of me and my family and the truck runs great. Superior customer service. THANK YOU!

We were traveling with a toy hauler and we stopped at a les Schwab to park and get food at Arby's. We we going to park around the side and truck wouldn't start. We were recommended South Wind Performance and they were so accommodating. Steve was awesome he was able to get us in and allowed us to park the trailer across the street. If you have the unfortunate to have to break down in any state and you're in a diesel fingers crossed you're close to second wind performance. I was on the road for almost 7 days before I found them. They treated me with the utmost respect!! (And I was on the road for 7 days Plus ) they got my truck in same day and got it fixed. Then a straggler part came in the next morning. I'm just going to put this out there if you have to drive two or three states away and you need work done on your diesel it is worth the drive to come to the shop!!! All their technicians are extremely cool and very knowledgeable professional!!! And they do extremely well work!! I would highly recommend them for any diesel work that you need!

Great service. This shop got me a price that beat the internet on a set of Fuel rims. The few people I worked with, both on the phone and in person, were all personable. The work done was satisfactory and the employee I worked with was enthusiastic. I'd likely go back for other work.

Very honest and knowledgeable staff. I had many questions and they were all addressed until I was happy with the answer. I never felt rushed or upsold. I even inquired as to a few upgrades and to whether or not they would be worthwhile for my setup and they gave me honest answers and even talked me out of doing some of them because there would be no benefit. I was blown away by the service and quality of the work performed. They caught several small maintenance issues proving they were very thorough. Best experience I have had with a shop. I will be back for any repair or service I need.

Second Wind Performance is awesome! Two dealerships royally screwed up my 2017 Ram Ecodiesel 1500 and charged me tons of money to do it. My truck was leaking diesel fuel from a loose sensor (thanks to dealership #2) while I was towing a camper, and Second Wind Performance got me right in. They fixed it correctly, and NOW IT RUNS LIKE A NEW TRUCK! What a blessing that these diesel specialists know how to work on your truck. Plus, they charged me a fraction of what the dealerships charged me. I couldn't believe it. IF YOU HAVE A DIESEL, GO TO SECOND WIND PERFORMANCE! They have me and my 12 Cummins a completely new lease on life last year. I have moved away but have made 3-4 trips back (1000 miles one way) just to bring my truck to them for upgrades and regular maintenance. Trustworthy and reliable, have got advice and help when I ve ran into trouble 1000 s of miles away and had to have repairs done someplace else. They are Rockstars and I m very grateful to Steve, John, and everyone else there for the service!!! Won t go anywhere else for work on this continent!

My experience wasn't really the best to start off. I even left a bad review on here but now updating it. Honestly it was probably me more then these guys. I would highly recommend these guys to anyone even though I thought they was a little too expensive and spilled gas in the back bed of my truck. We are all human and make mistakes. Im sure they think I'm one bipolar mood swinging dude. I'm really not guys. Just a lot of money we were dealing with. They do know what they are doing and I should had listened to them instead of arguing. Sorry guys.

I barely made it into Casper Wyoming when I blew up my turbo charger on my 2001 f250 7.3 diesel. It was Sunday so after doing a little research I found second wind performance in Casper and I called him first thing Monday morning they had to turbo on the shelf and after a little mishap with ordering the pedestal the guys did an excellent job, very professional, Scott the mechanic was exceptional. I recommend these guys highly and I would use them again!

I'm so late with this review, I feel embarrassed. Earlier this summer came off the freeway in Casper and my Dodge 3500 was smoking and banging like a blacksmith's hammer! Crawled to our RV site. The next morning started calling around. Friends referred me to Second Wind. Talked to Louie and he diagnosed it right off the bat. Had it towed to their shop. Within 6 hours I had new injectors and was back on the road. The truck runs great! Thank you to the Second Wind crew!

Been a diesel mech for many years spoke to several guys at the shop jokingly about a red head gear box they knew exactly what i was speaking of. Very knowledgable staff , good experience , truck still needs the darn ball joints replaced after platinum garage fried my diff lack of oil, but it handles better will be going back .Service: Steering & suspension repairService: Steering & suspension repair

Steve opened the shop on a Saturday to work on my 2018 Ram. I was impressed with the knowledge and attention to detail. Also, his daughter detailed the inside of my pickup and washed my windows. Bless her heart, it was DIRTY!!!

Could not get my 3500 dodge fixed in rawlings a guy at dodge told me about 2nb wind best choice I ever made Paul and his family is good workers and knows ther work got my turbo replaced bk on the road in less than 24 hrs
