$152.00 to change-out 3 spark plugs on my Smart Car. Price was in-line with Sheridan, Wyoming Automotive Centers but my hometown Automotive told me they will no longer provide Service for Smart Cars as they are to much "Hassle".Superior Automotive gladly and Professionally helped me out.They have a waiting area that is as comfortable as your own home. Free Tea & Hot Chocolate.Cold drink Soda machine. Magazines & books to read & large flat screen Tv.Plenty of parking. Credit/Cash/Checks accepted.Towing available. U-haul Rentals & Car Rentals.Automotive repairs and Tires.I highly recommend. I drove 38 miles from my hometown of Sheridan, WY. Roundtrip 76 miles and it was worth it. I will do it again, & again.Superior Automotive & Tire treated me like a next door neighbor.

We are from Indiana & while traveling in the area our 2015 Ford F350 with 6.7 diesel started smelling hot, but I couldn't find a problem, that day. Next day I realized that we were losing coolant. I was given the number for Superior Auto & Tire by the Ford dealer in Sheridan, WY as they couldn't get it in for over a week. I called Superior on Saturday morning right after talking to the Ford dealer. Gary answered the phone & I explained our situation of traveling & truck problems. We were staying right up the road at Deer Park RV Park. He said bring it in on Monday & he would take a look. I took it in & by Monday afternoon he had an estimate of cost for repairs & time of completion. Truck was repaired & we were ready to travel on Wednesday morning. I can not say enough about how well we were taken care of, from taking me back to campground to getting truck repaired in a very timely fashion so we could continue our travels & all at a reasonable cost. WELL DONE SUPERIOR AUTO & TIRE, OWNER GARY & ALL THE STAFF & MECHANICS!!!On another note if you are traveling & need a place to park your RV get in touch with Kirk at Deer Park RV Park right down the road from Superior Auto & Tire.

I was on a road trip to OR when I broke down just after Buffalo. I had never broken down before and picked their name off of google as one of the only people open on a Friday afternoon. They came and towed me quickly and efficiently, the man that picked me up was named Jacob, and he was kind, considerate, and very helpful to me and my slightly panicked state. Once we got my vehicle to the yard he drove me to a motel where me and my dog could stay until repairs were done. Repairs were done quickly and efficiently(I was out of there in less than a week!) Gary kept me updated on the progress and let me know just what was wrong with it. I was beyond blessed to have stumbled upon them, and am truly glad that I took my vehicle here. Two years ago we broke down pulling a travel trailer in Ten Sleep canyon. Our home is in Michigan. You hear horror stories about garages taking advantage of out of state customers. That was not case for us. The tow truck driver recommended. Superior Automotive they got us on the road in two days. Shan and Gary Spade did everything that could to build our confidence in them. Excellent place to do business with this company.Well, d�j� vu all over again. Last week we broke down at the exact same spot in the Ten Sleep canyon. Different towing service, but the driver, highly recommended Superior Automotive. Again Shan took care of us again she got us connected with Gary again everyone got us back on the road asap.I can not thank Superior Automotive enough. Excellent people that you can trust. You can definitely trust this company. Thanks again.

Had a van towed here with overheated motor. I was told they would have a diagnosis by 3pm and they would call me. I went to my hotel room and woke at 5pm. No one had called. I called them and no answer. I walk back to the facility the next day and learn from a mechanic the head gaskets appear blown. I went out back where the van had been placed in an unsecured lot and every door was unlocked. I personally locked the van when I gave them the keys. I wait 45 min for the owner to say he will write me a estimate and call me. No one called. I walk back over to the repair facility again the next day. This is the morning of day 3 and he still doesn't have a estimate. I decided to find a repair facility with better communications. As a handicapped senior the quarter mile hikes between the hotel and Superior Repair were taking a toll on me. Even on day 1 no one offered a ride. The owner came out as I was walking away with my large dog on a leash and a trash bag of essentials and pointed up and down the road saying where a room may be available. I called yesterday morning first thing to pay up and have another business pick up my van. Same old "I will call you back" was my answer on 2 calls. No one called. Can't say enough about the great service from Gary and the staff. Car broke down while on a trip and used their service since they have towing and auto repair. Couldn't be more pleased with how quickly they were able to work on our car and the professionalism of the repair. They showed me the problem with the crankshaft pulley before starting the work, and explained the cause. The price for the repair was very reasonable. What sets them apart is the customer service, helping us out in a bind so we could make it back out on the road to catch our flight. Highly recommend this company for their towing and repairs.Service: Engine repair

Highly recommend! Coming back from vacation in Montana. My clutch went out on an Audi S4 in the middle of the night. After waiting until the next morning I called three maintenance shops and Superior was the only one to answer. Gary quickly came and towed my vehicle back to their shop. I figured I had a full clutch replacement but Gary and associates quickly determined it was just my slave cylinder. They saved me a ton of money and head aches and I couldn t be for grateful! I had a rear differential & transmission destroyed traveling home to PA from W Montana. They towed me in, diagnosed the problems and agreed to repair. It took a long time to get high quality replacements (my choice) due to ongoing supply chain issues. Repairs were completed and I went back to Buffalo to pickup my camper, trailer and SxS. Price was fair, more parts than labor. Drove home with NO issues, and now good for another 100k miles on a 342k mile 7.3 turbo diesel. Great shop, great mechanics, and staff. 10 out 10 on approval meter.

Broke down on 16w 30 miles + out 300 some dollar tow and found out it was my engine. He was helpful and found places to call and ask about stuff and helped put my car on the Uhaul. Didn t call when it was done but oh well he seemed pretty busy would recommend if you don t know the area at all.

Gary was able to help us drive our vehicle off the mountain, which eliminated their towing fee. Then he could not do our repairs quickly, so he found us a shop to accommodate us. All this kindness and they made no money on us.

Great experience for a not so great situation! My car's check engine light came on when doing a cross-country road trip after stopping in Buffalo for some gas - first thing I did was call Superior Automotive. Gary looked at my car right away. Due to time circumstances, I had to get it towed the next day to the nearest Subaru dealership - Gary and the ladies inside the office (Shannon & Christie) helped me out tremendously with locating a local motel to stay at and things to fill my time while in Buffalo. So happy to have found them and very grateful for the service they provided to this out-of-towner!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

We were towing our TT from Kansas City, Mo to Spokane, Wa via Great Falls. Mt with our 20 year old truck. Fearing transmission issues would shortstop our journey we googled auto repair shops within 50 miles of our location. Superior Auto seemed reasonable. We arrived an hour before it opened. The receptionist let me in 30 mins before it opened and told me Gary would probably be able to help me even though they were booked up for the morning. 10 mins before they opened Gary had me describe the symptoms; he checked the fluid level and examined it s color; and asked me more questions. He told me I could make it to Great Falls if I wanted to continue driving. He said to watch the transmission heat gauge carefully. It s been 5 days now and we completed our journey without further incident. My transmission has not been a problem. Gary was courteous and professional and did not charge me anything. Piece of mind is worth it s weight in gold. Thank you.Service: Transmission

I called before bringing my truck in to see what the rates would be for brakes, oil change, and fuel filter change. They gave me rough ball park estimates that ended up being HUNDREDS of dollars off what the actual total was.They broke off a brake caliper bolt and had to replace the caliper. I was charged the labor and parts for THIER MISTAKE. I confronted the owner about this, and he immediately got visibly angry and was shaking mad. I never raised my voice or said anything rude. Simply asked why I was being charged for something they broke.Oil change, rotor resurface, and fuel filter took them nearly 6 HOURS to complete...find a different place to get work done, trust me!

Had issues with our truck starting while camping in Yellowstone and had a 13 hour drive back home. Stopped in Cody, WY for a new battery and was told that might not fix the problem and not to turn the truck off until we got home. Decided to have a proper mechanic look at it before we got stranded somewhere for the weekend. Called and talked to Bob about an hour away from Buffalo and he said he would run a quick diagnostic when we got there and go from there. Turns out everything was fine, but we were super grateful for the fast and helpful input. Thank you!

I drove from Minnesota to Wyoming for a vacation, and had a few things pop up during my drive that I wanted looked at before making the drive back. They fit me in within a day of calling, and their service made me wish I lived in Buffalo just so I could continue taking my car to them. Outstanding communication and kindness toward a traveler who really just needed to be told to chill out and enjoy her vacation and that her car was fine. I did bring you guys donuts as a thank-you, but just missed you on Saturday! (Your loss was the Chamber of Commerce s gain ;) ) Can t recommend this shop enough they ll do right by you.

Was doing a cross country road trip from LA to NY and my car skidded off the side of the road and was essentially totaled (this was during an oncoming snow storm). The tow truck dropped us off here. Gary and everyone at Automotive & Tire were super helpful, with Annaliese(Sp?)'s husband giving us a ride to the nearest enterprise 30 mi. away so we could rent a car and continue the trip in time to escape the storm.Very nice people thanks so much and highly recommend their services for anyone stopping through town!

This place is above the worse place I have ever been. Gary explained to me that he knew our situation and would Not run the bill into a unrealistic amount! Gary also knew how much money I had in my pocket and 3 weeks later waiting for the project to be complete.The repair costs are more then the vehicle is worth and now that Gary over charged me he will not let me retrieve mine and my three children's personal items from the inside of the vehicle. And take ownership of this vehicle. I highly recommend you find yourself a more honest and fair mechanic then this place!

Sprung a leak in my RV coolant reservoir while traveling in Wyoming...destination was Buffalo so ordered part and called Superior after good recommendations.Gary, the owner, personally came to my RV park, diagnosed the situation, asked me to bring RV in on Monday after part came in.Monday, Bob in office, cheerfully greeted me and assured me that they would keep us updated on progress...recommended a great breakfast restaurant!Could not be more pleased with professional treatment and timely repairs from Superior.Also recommend any weary travelers stay awhile in Buffalo...visit the beautiful Big Horn mountains nearby...just don't tell anyone.Bryan and Kathy Brooks

We encountered emergency repair while in town and Contacted Superior Automotive who was able to get all inspected & Diagnosed quickly. Was Very impressed with level of caring from all staff and got our SUV back the next day and driving like new again. Highly recommend. We were 1500 miles from home. They pulled the transmission from our motorhome on the sidewalk because it is too big for a lift. The had it back and reinstalled in a week, in time for us to get home for work. Many shops would not have touched it. Huge thanks

These guys are really great. Very friendly people, so glad I decided to go here based on other reviews when my car started running really loudly while going through the mountains on my cross-country road trip. Turned out it was just a hole in the exhaust pipe that they patched up for me, and I had my car back and good as new just a few hours after I dropped it off. Considering other more dishonest shops might have seen a solo woman in a bind and tried to tell me I needed a whole new exhaust system or something, I really appreciated the simple fix that didn't break my travel budget and got me back on the road. Definitely recommend Gary Spade and the rest of Superior Automotive!

They spent 15-minutes checking the car and reported everything is fine. Even though they cleaned and tightened the battery connectors, they charged nothing and saw me right away. They are fast, honest, and easy going. If I lived locally I would always bring my car here. Thank you!

4-18-19 bought a boat in Cody Wyoming, took it to a local shop there to have bearings check before my 23 hr drive to Michigan. They said I was all good arrived in buffalo stopped to check them and two were hot. Stopped in at Superior auto to see if they could help with my problem. They had me in and out in a few hrs on the road at 4:30pm there time now it is 3:52pm the next day and I m pulling into my driveway in Michigan ran all night and not a problem the bearings were cool all they way home. Thank you very much.

I was traveling through when my wheel bearing went out. They sent a tow truck for me and gave me a ride to a motel along with my 2 dogs. They were able to fix my truck and have me back on the road the next day by noon! Superior Auto saved my toosh! My car broke down on the side of I-25 on Thursday night on my way camping from Laramie. I had it towed to Superior and they bent over backwards on Friday to get me in and get me back on the road. Amazing service. I can t thank them enough!

June 2019 our engine light was on and needed checked out. Gary was most helpful in checking it out. Installed our new fuel filter in no time and we were on our way. Very friendly staff and most helpful. We appreciated his help very much.

I can be the annoying customer with constant requests for updates on repair status. Superior Automotive was patient with me and understanding. They are a good local mechanic in the Buffalo Wyoming area!

FAIR AND HONEST! Traveling and made it home with flying colors.We were traveling to Yellowstone, going through Buffalo to get there, when going up the mountain pass we blew out a main radiator hose, other shop in town could not diagnose a slight air leak after they repaired it. Brought to Superior and they fixed the radiator hose leak. After several hours of looking into it, and another sensor going off, it check out only required a resetting. They took out for a test drive up the pass, completed our trip with zero issues from then on. THANK YOU FOR BEING HONEST AND EXTREMELY FAIR with our bill. My bill was 1/4 what I expected. I nearly cried thinking they could have charged me anything they wanted, I had no choice but to use them, I HAD TO ASK, "Did you miss something on the bill"? They said "That was the correct bill. Computer wasn't working right for testing the sensor and that was not your fault, so we didn't charge you for that period of time." How would I have known that? Very honest of them. It was a wonderful experience and very VERY fair to us.TRUST THESE FOLKS! GLAD I DID. Thank you Superior. While dealing with this company on the phone, I was treated with the utmost respect and concern but when I showed up in person to drop the car off it was apparent that my black skin made quite the difference in how I d be treated. The person I spoke to on the phone was very cold in person, she treated me like she d never spoken to me and no kindness in her manner in person. They initially advised that the car tires would be changed and done by 10am. We got there and were told that it should be left on the street and they would get to it once a bay was open but when we went outside there were three bays open. They kept my car all day even though they had the tires, knew I had to get on the road before dark and should have taken an hour at best to get them changed. It took a call from a prominent citizen to get my car back after 4pm that day and I was scared to drive it.I have since been driving the car, lent it to a friend and it started making odd noises. I thought something was wrong with the brakes...I took it to Firestone here in Colorado Springs and was advised that whoever put my tires on failed to properly and securely tighten the lug nuts on ALL FOUR TIRES!!!! These people intentionally tried to harm me and put me in harms ways I will seek the advice of an attorney because this is atrocious for anyone to do to ANY HUMAN BEING!!!!Service: Tires
