I ll keep this short the Owner takes advantage of people! If you happen to get referred to this outfit ask them what he s going to charge you before they come and do anything! We locked the keys in our car and the Owner shows up and unlocks the car before we even have the chance to meet him. Took him about 30 seconds to unlock the car he charged us $226 to be precise! He charged $100 for his services and then $6 per mile (21 miles=$126) just like he would if he was towing your car! You would think the $100 includes some kind of mile radius? I called an actual locksmith from the same town and he said he charges $50 to unlock a car and if it s drive maybe $1 or so a mile he said he would ve charged us $80 for the same job!! It s not about the cost of running a company, it s about doing the right thing!

Got stuck in the palisades, called Suloff's towing, friendly over the phone and in person, shawn showed up got to me fast nice guy, knows his job good, 5 star!

We had our truck and rv towed from Thayne Wyoming to Idaho Falls. We dad great service and Sean the owner was very personable. We had a good visit and saw great scenery from the tow truck. Highly recommended.Service: Special vehicle towingService: Special vehicle towing

$865 for 1 hour of work!?Here s the bill:$350 Flatbed tow truck 1 hour$18 3 miles of distance$50 clean up supplies$150 yard access and tow out$57 administration fee$240 storage fee @ $60 per dayLet s break it down:$350 for the tow and clean-up.1 hour flatbed.(Understandable, this seems reasonable).$18 for hauling 3 miles.This was the distance from downtown Afton to their office.Doesn t the $350 towing fee cover towing !? Even a couple of miles?!$50 for clean up supplies.There were no supplies used, 4 witnesses confirm no fluid clean up, all debris picked up by hand, owner claimed garbage bags, broom . The roads where snow covered, there was no sweeping. Lol.$150 for Yard access and tow out fee.The car still runs and drives. The owner took 5 min to drive the wrecked car out of his fenced locked storage yard. We never came to access the car, and were never told of his access fees.$57 for administration fee.What administration?!, they never called us, nor our insurance. Who is being administered to?!$240 for Storage fee. $60 day.The storage yard is a patch of dirt, with a locked gate. RV campsites and even motels in Afton don t charge that much!In comparison:I rented a Uhaul flatbed car trailer for one day for $54!!Drove it from our small town in Idaho to pick up our daughters car.A nights stay at the Afton Colter s motel is only $47. Cheaper that what they charge for a dirt patch for daily car storage.Having had multiple accidents living in remote Idaho- we have had to use tow companies many times for : 2 totaled cars, and a few wrecked cars. We have never paid over $150 total- including mileage: over 10 miles.This company takes advantage of people who are in an accident. This is the ONLY tow company in Afton - and it s causing a problem with these outrageous fees.Wyoming legislators are working on a predatory towing law to protect against this type of price gouging. Let s hope it passes in 2023 (Wyoming House Bill HB -0119).Details:When my daughter wrecked her car on the Main Street in Afton, she slid at 20 mph on icy roads and hit a car in the opposite lane. It tore her bumper off and dented a ram 1500. It was a slow motion accident on an icy snow covered road. No one was thankfully hurt. And no fluids leaked. The car still drives and runs!!The police were fabulous, kind, and especially helpful. They were required to call this tow company in my daughters behalf (it s the only tow company in Afton).We were shocked at the $864 bill! Especially considering that my daughter never agreed to, contracted with, or received any disclosure of rates or fees. They provided no documentation - except for a business card.After trying to rationalize with the owner we were given $100 back. I asked him how he can charge $150 to drive my daughters car out of his storage yard? He claimed, It s just what he charges . I said, Sir I would have been happy to drive the car out of your lot, to save $150! He returned $100, and must feel that his 5 min of time is worth $50.We called later that day and asked a few questions about the supplies he used on the clean-up, he stated trash bags . Which we told him is untrue, as 4 witnesses claim they saw none.I rented a tandem axle flatbed car hauler from Uhaul for the same price as what he charged for clean up supplies.We told him about his storage yard rates and how a Afton motel is cheaper - which he replied, well, everyone charges this rate, and they are more expensive in Jackson .He also argued that his rates are so high because, He pays his employees very well . With charging us $865 per hour . He s got plenty to work with.This is a perfect example why insurance is so high.These junk fees, dishonest charges, and incredibly expensive rates: are sadly why we need laws to protect citizens from being taken advantage of in a crisis like a car accident.

Got my plow truck stuck side of hill. With a slick icy road. Truck was in some.deep snow. Unable to pull it out myself. He was able to come quickly and pull truck safely back on the road. Good guy

In August this year, we were traveling back to Utah from the Tetons with our 32 foot RV behind our Ford. Our radiator tube blew in a bad part of the highway outside of Afton. Because of AAA, Shawn the owner of Suloff's came to our rescue. During the wait, we desperately tried to find ANY garage that would fix our radiator hose. Every place we called in Afton and Jackson Hole said they didn't have the part or would not see us immediately. We were desperate and needing to get back to pressing work in utah. Shawn pulled up with his rig, and started investigating our hose. He being very experienced in repairs checked to see if there was a universal part in a local Autoparts store and offered to fix it for us. His rig was amazing and easily hauled our vehicle and trailor to his place. He went and purchased the part and fixed our Ford! We were blown away by his kindness and expertise. Tho we were NOT impressed with the big dealers / garages in Afton, we were sooooo grateful that we were saved by Shawn Nelson of Suloff's Towing.Services: Special vehicle towing, Car towing

We were stuck in the mud with our 5th wheel attached to our truck. We called AAA and Suloffs towing showed up VERY quickly. They were very patient, took their time and got us out of the mud without any damage to anything. They will DEFINITELY BE OUR FIRST CALL FOR ANY TOWING NEEDS.Thank you guys!!! Fantastic service! My daughter was coming home from Yellowstone and ended up with her check engine light blinking. Called AAA and they sent Suloff's Towing. Prompt, professional service!! Thank you for getting my daughter safely to a mechanic.

Ha my first experience with these guys 8/3/2017. Had been out Jeeping all day in the desert and came back into Alpine and the Jeep quit running. Called AAA and they sent Suloff's. The driver was a nice guy, had every bit of information I gave the AAA dispatcher, hooked up and hauled it in to my mechanic... no BS! Nice job Suloff's! I hope I never need another tow, but if Ii do, Ill call you guys first!

These guys know what they are doing. They had to tow a vehicle out of the Canyon that had gone off the road and over the snowbank and down a little bit. I was amazed how they made it look so easy. They also were really nice when I went to go gather the rest of our stuff from their office and give them release paperwork for insurance.

So grateful for them. Service done right.Got stuck in the mud today in Alpine. Two kind gentlemen (father and son?). Both incredibly kind with bright spirits. Came right on time, very professional and got the job done within a couple minutes. Thank you Suloff s for your two employees today, representing this company well.

Suloff's Towing is wonderful. Very prompt; Shaun is the greatest. I tried another towing company out of Jackson which was through AAA and ended up getting charged for work they didn't even do. I will always go to Shaun at Suloff's for any help.
