I have been using Shadow s Auto for years now... I wouldn t trust my vehicles with anyone else!! The owner Kenny is a hoot! The work he performs is beyond exceptional! The customer service is to par! All of the work I ve had done has always been very reasonably priced and quality! Getting in to get services performed is always flexible. Shadow s goes above and beyond compared to any other mechanic shop I ve been to!POSITIVES: honest/ trustworthy/ quality/ high work ethic/ personable/ loyalNEGATIVES: haven t run into any! And that s the honest truth!I would recommend SHADOWS AUTO to all my friends and family and anyone needing mechanic work done to their vehicle.

We were stuck on the highway on a Sunday afternoon, with a truck that was over heating. After a fiasco with multiple tow truck companies, I called the only shop that was listed as being open. Shadow answered the phone and was so sweet, he could fit us in whenever we were able to get there.He diagnosed our problem was the water pump! But unfortunately the parts stores were closed, but he offered for us to stay at his place and access to the shop TV, pop machine and bathroom. We were pulling a 5th wheel trailer and I only drive forward, he called a helper to come and back our camper into his driveway. We set up for the night. He was able to get the part ordered and started working by noon! He had us on the road that evening, even helped us hook up the camper.Great customer service, just a really nice guy with reasonable prices, if he wasn t an hour and a half away from home I would would switch to him for all my car needs in a minute!Service: General repairs & maintenance

When on a 2500 mile drive, my car threw a wheel bearing leaving me essentially stranded in a spot I knew nothing and no one, on a Saturday night no less. The guys here went above and beyond to get me taken care of and back on the road. Thank you so much for getting me back home safely, I can't recommend this shop enough! THANK YOU!!!

AAA failed me again. I got a flat tire just down the road from Shadow's Auto LLC and AAA couldn't find a tow company that would tow my car. A kid stopped and called Shadow's for me, he came down the road, grabbed my tire and replaced it within and hour. Service charge amd tire out the door and even less than his initial quote. Then he even fed me while I waited for a ride. Not many good guys out there running a business that actually practices amazing customer service. This is one of those places!

Had a wonderful experience at Shadow's. Called at 7pm on a Saturday with a tire that had a whole punctured in it and he fit us right in and patched it. He stayed open late just to help us. We will be going back, especially since he has great reviews on all his work!Service: TiresService: Tires

Shadows auto is the best auto place I've ever went to. Lost my tire on the highway and he was able to get my car fixed and running that day. Even stayed late to make sure I could get back on the road. Super friendly! Will definitely be going back to him if need be in the future.

Ken has done Quality Work on my cars for years. I drive from Minnesota to Wisconsin for my vehicle to be serviced because Ken is someone you can trust to do a great job at a fair price. He gets the job done right and doesn't try to screw you over in any way. I just cannot say enough about his character and work ethic. I do recommend him to anyone that needs to have work done on their vehicle. Great place for auto emergencies. The owner is super friendly and accommodating with urgent issues, came here on a Sunday when all other places in the area were closed. Helped me get back on a road trip without any issues or concerns. Owner was transparent and forthcoming about the issues, and he s just an all around good guy, so very thankful I found this place. I had a great experience here.

Kenny is amazing! So friendly and always looks out for his customers. He does great work and always has a can-do attitude. He is the only shop I've let do work on my car, I usually do it myself. Definitely go to Kenny with any of your vehicle repair needs. He even buys cars for parts if you have one broken down.

Shadows Auto is my favorite shop to go to by far! I ve gotten my car done multiple times here and know I can count on the owner Kenny to do an amazing job on my car and get it done in great amount of time! Kenny is very flexible with payments and does an amazing job keeping up with your vehicle! Serpentine belt broke on my vehicle while I was 200 miles from home on 4th of July weekend. Luckily I found a new belt at a local parts store, but they did not have the tools to replace the belt. I called Shadow's Auto on whim and thankfully he was willing to help me out. He was busy on another call and actually let me barrow the tools out of his shop in order to replace the broken belt myself in order to get back on the road faster. Truly a kind hearted gentleman and someone I will definitely call if I'm ever stuck out in that neck of the woods again!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Shadow answered the phone and diagnosed my car's issue on the Sunday after Thanksgiving. He replaced my dead alternator at a very fair price and several thousand miles later, no issues. These guys did what they said they would do, when they said they would do it. Wish more mechanics were like this!

Shadows Auto is hands down the best shop Ive been to over the years. Ken is very down to earth and will treat you like family. Ive had work done at his shop many times over the years and have only had good results. He s my go to guy and the only one who touches my cars. My wife and I will be lifetime customers for sure. Kenny is the best mechanic around!! Even better uncle!! Anytime I've had a car issue I've called him, and he's told come on by we'll get it fixed. Had a rough riding vehicle due to bad front struts and Kenny was able to get me in quick to put new struts on to make a smoother ride. Also was able to have my tires balanced which removed a slight shake I had in the front end. Outstanding, Excellent...and a lifesaver. At 7:30 at night our truck wouldn t start after filling up with gas about 20 minutes from Shadows Shop. They were the only ones in the area that were open, so we called. The owner answered...FROM ARIZONA. He was totally compassionate and said he d get his guys over to take a look at the truck. He was also calling his towing guy and checked on potential parts. The guys showed up and got the truck going. They couldn t have been any more helpful, professional, and honest. Highly recommend. Shadow and his staff are friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Shadow is honest and helpful when it comes to all repairs. He goes way above and beyond to help. He has so many connections to the community and part stores. I had the pleasure of meeting Shadow and his staff when my sister needed help with her strained vehicle. Thanks to Shadow!!! My daughter and I ended up meeting Shadow after getting a flat on I94. And the tow truck driver recommended him.He was amazing. He went over and beyond to help me get a tire and get us back on the road. Very quick and reasonable prices. Iwould recommend him to anyone. Thank you so much!!!!!!

Mr. Shadows is amazing!! He's an amazing mechanic but he also has a heart. We need people like this in our world everyday. Great guys and excellent customer service. Called them on Easter when my car stalled on the highway. They were the only place that was open and would help me out last minute on a holiday. Willy took the time to scan my vehicle free of charge and make sure everything under the hood was working properly. Shadow has rescued me on more than one occasion and was fair and honest with me. He says I'm a nightmare but after 2 days he was family and taught me to help myself. Very knowledgeable in his profession and very people friendly. I recommend it to any who desperately need help and someone affordable

I live in the twin cities and was getting off of 94 at the Baldwin Wisconsin exit when my right front wheel locked up. It was the 4th of July and I couldn't get help from the mechanic that had just worked on my car tonight before. I googled a nearby mechanic and got shadow. Lucky I did. He answered his phone on the afternoon of the 4th of July jumped on his motorcycle and came to the overpass where we were stuck. He helped me diagnose my problem. A previous mechanic hadn't properly bolted on the brake caliper! He recommended a tow company that came and moved my car to a shop. He took things apart discovered we needed a new wheel. Took a couple of days to get the new wheel but I couldn't even get one in the twin cities any quicker. This guy went above and beyond the call of duty fix the vehicle up and it runs and more importantly the wheel rolls great. If you're anywhere close to Wood Dale Wisconsin you'll have to use Shadow Auto for anything you need repaired. Thank you again!

My husband and I were in Casa Grande AZ to move his mom to Washington state to live with us. On the day we were supposed to leave, my car's battery was dead. A helpful neighbor jumped it and we were set to go. However, I got a warning message about the car's Adaptive Steering, it had a fault and required service. Yeah, great. I called our local Ford dealer to ask if it was driveable, their response was to take it to the AZ dealer and have the code read/diagnosed. Yeah, great. Another neigbor walking by said that her neigbor's mom's son was visiting and she thought he was a mechanic. A few minutes later, Ken showed up and we told him what had happened and what the dealer had said. His response? "Oh, hell no! They'll charge you $150 just for walking in the door!" He proceeded to run his own tests, drove my car to his mom's house and reset my car. Wow!! He totally saved the day!! Thanks, Ken! You rock!My husband and I would absolutely recommend Shadows Auto! If his service and dedication to doing the right thing is any indication of his shop, you can't go wrong with taking your vehicle to Shadows Auto!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Incredible Service!My family and I were on our way to Madison from Minneapolis this past winter when our car essentially broke down. It was a Sunday, it was 0 degrees outside, and Shadow s Auto was the only open mechanic for literally a few hundred miles. We left him a voicemail and waited at a Kwik Trip while we tried to call a tow truck back home. He called us back, insisted on coming to help us, drove to Kwik Trip, and proceeded to spend four hours fixing our vehicle. We were able to complete our trip to Madison that day! Shadow is a lovely person, an excellent mechanic, and was an absolute god sent for our family. 6/5 stars.

Shadows is one of the best auto repair shops I have ever been to! He doesn t try and BS you out of money and is very reasonable on pricing! I have seen him go to the ends of the earth and back to keep his customers happy and SAFE!
