Originally scheduled an appointment Dec. 7th 2023 to have the rear passenger window of my Jeep replaced after it getting hit by a rock on my way home. It was a few days later and I got an e-mail that they were missing my VIN# number to verify the correct part, but I gave them the VIN when I confirmed the appointment. The appointment got pushed out about a week and a half so they could order the correct part. I had to push the appointment again to the next week (Dec 27) due to personal issues. It was two weeks later when the technician came out and was there about 30 minutes before I received a voicemail and text that the technician had the wrong window and would need to reschedule once they had the right part. I sent various emails and finally called customer service on Jan 16th, who were very very kind and helpful, and rescheduled an appointment for today (Jan 20th). I had my car parked at a family members house while I was at work and they updated me that the window was replaced, yet when I came to look at it, there was a 1/4 in gap at the top of the window that wouldn't go up when I tried rolling the window up. In the process of trying to roll the window up I found out my battery was dead, my family and I assume that one of the doors didn't get shut all the way.All in all, customer service was really nice and apologetic but my window got broken November 28th and the window is just now getting replaced. It's super cold in WI right now so it's almost the same except I have a window now instead of cardboard and duct tape.

I had called my insurance agent for a windshield replacement due to a rather large rock shot to drivers side, dead on hole and crack, appointment made on computer, phone call follow-up and time set for change out (on location replacement). Young lady called within minutes of arrival, she was given opportunity for replacement inside or out, weather nice she preferred out. She was thorough and efficient, finished within the allotted time, and with no mess afterwards...Kristen was very knowledgeable of her task before her and was outstanding to say the least!!

First time coming to this place and Service was good but the tech who installed my windshield did a very poor job at cleaning up the mess if he even did also noticed my fender was bent back a little from them pulling on it to get at windshield. Very poor work for the money spent I don't think I'll be back or recommend even tho they though they did reclean it up after going back to complain

The first time I scheduled an appointment with safelite, they called me and told me that the glass arrived broken. So I rescheduled my appointment for 12-5 on a different day. (no message letting me know they were on their way at all like they say they would). They got here and found out that the glass piece was wrong for my vehicle. I said whatever, and rescheduled again, and then got a call and they left a voicemail saying the tech would be here between 2-3:30, but then showed up at noon, with no text or call letting me know they were on their way. Then they realized AGAIN, they had the wrong piece of glass. I can t believe how unobservant this company is. There s no reason they should have had the wrong piece of glass 2 times in a row. Very disappointing. I m taking my business elsewhere. I d give it a 0 star if I could.

Ian was incredibly helpful. He has a great attitude. They have enough staff and can get you in right away and bridge the insurance craziness. My go to for auto glass needs.

I've used the Rapids shop for years, just as the family business did. Always professional and friendly! Only thing that sucks is the online estimate or appointment setup.

Manager was friendly and nice. First time here, short on Employees, only one working on all the Vehicles. We had a 2 hour wait to get our Windshield replaced. Yes, we were the last. Did a great job on Windshield! Looked good, cleaned up, would of gave more stars if not for the long wait.

Excellent service, staff and owner friendly and professional all the way around. My insurance company was a little bit of a pain but the shop did all they could to help the process along. I had a small ding and dropped in, took them less time to repair than for me to deal with Geico. Free coffee, TV and bathroom, noice!

Very pleased with the service. While it took two appointments to have the windshield replaced and another to get the camera calibrated they staff at this location are very friendly and professional. While my previous review may have been a bit harsh, they were able to make me a happy customer who would recommend them to anyone in the future. Great, real, hometown people to work with. Thank you!

Professional and fast! Alex was curteous and professional throughout the process. I felt comfortable with the service and felt I was leaving my car in good hands. 2-3hrs later it was ready for pickup. Easy.Creating an appointment was a cinch. He even provided a complimentary vacuum and window clean. Thanks for a great experience!

Safelite came out to replace my shattered windshield. The tech complained his device didn't work due to reception and couldn't verify insurance, plus it was a Friday he only had 4 jobs to do and wanted to move on. Well he did my windshield didn't get replaced. I contacted insurance and safelite cleared up the confusion they all got on the same page, and rescheduled replacement. The day of the replacement safelite contacted me to inform me they had a bad window and couldn't replace it. So safelite ordered a new window I waited just over 2 weeks from the last date, now it's been over a month WAITING and without use of my truck. Today the guy showed up and my truck is in a pole building as requested due to rain. After looking the tech says he can't replace it due to low clearance in the building and can't do it outside due to intermittent rain. I called safelite and said can you come back this afternoon? I've taken 3 days off work and waited over a month to make this happen and here I sit still with a busted windshield. Safelite said they would try today, but no promise and no promise of contract this afternoon to say yes we'll be there or no we can't. I even asked about tomorrow since weather will be clear, and was told we'll we will try for today but IF needed we could try to squeeze you in tomorrow. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THEIR SERVICES, GO LOCAL, GO TO A DEALERSHIP, GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE!

Ordered the replacement windshield for my 2006 Mercedes Benz C280 from them. Also opted for the mobile service so the vehicle could stay here versus us driving 30 miles round trip to drop off the car and again to pick it up when finished. Thomas was punctual, professional and had great attention for detail. He did not hesitate to call me and inform me that I had selected the wrong windshield as mine did not have a rain sensor but did have a light sensor. The windshield I ordered was for a vehicle with both sensors. He called and made sure they had the right one in the warehouse and was able to return the next day to install the correct windshield. I am very grateful that someone with his vast experience was servicing my vehicle! Thank you again Tom !Ps. They also replaced the windshield in my 1998 Porsche Boxster a couple years ago and did an excellent job with it as well. Talking with Tom he remembers doing that one as well!

Our insurance company scheduled our glass repair on a 2018 Jeep Renegade for 4pm on a Saturday. The crew had it done by 5pm. Great service all around!

Had a appointment today between 12pm and 5 pm. Got a call that the repair person was gonna be by around 3:30 pm. Well 3:30 pm came and went by. At 4:55pm I called Safelite in Wisconsin rapids and got a virtual assistant that said my appointment got moved to Monday July 25 but nobody called or email us of this change. Not very professional service.

Had the misfortune to break the glass in my driver's side door late on a Friday. Was referred to a local glass company by the dealer who sold me the vehicle. That company never bothered to call me back! Contacted this company by phone and had an appointment scheduled within 10 minutes. I received excellent customer service and my window was replaced in less than 30 minutes.

Would NOT recommend. First day they cancelled 5 mins before the scheduled appointment and rescheduled for next business day. Claimed they overbooked. They make an appointment for the next day and throw in free wipers to make up for bad service. The appointment the next day was 8 to 10. I call when no one showed up and they have the tech call me back. He says appointment was 8 to 5 and he should be by around 5:30/6. So I rescheduled AGAIN. Again they schedule we for FIRST thing and applogize for the service, they already threw in the wipers so only offer a sorry this time. The next day fron 8 to 10 guess who doesn't show up AGAIN! Horrible service and could not recommend them. Took my business elsewhere and was able to get things fixed immediately.

Dropped my vehicle off by 9am. I was told it would be done by 2pm, and it was ready to pick up at 11:30. Windshield looks great! They even cleaned all of my widows!

Just want to say "thank you" again to the technicians (Jeremy and Joe) at Safelite Autoglass in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. When I made the appointment to have my windshield replaced, I didn't realize my vehicle clock was about 20 minutes slow, which then made me about 30 minutes late. However, they were very courteous, respectful, and accommodating, and the wait for Jeremy to return from his other service call was minimal. The store was also clean and comfortable. Keep up the good work!

I'd give it zero if I could, they replaced my windshield the wrong way didn't seal it right, then I get another appointment for a few days later, they STILL mess it up again! Where do they hire these "professionals" now I have to wait a full week for another appointment after they messed up twice, I would recommend going to anyone other than these people. Worst quality I've ever seen.

They charged me $34.99 to come to my house, I live 5 miles from their location. Beyond bs! Isaac replaces my windshield, I wait 5 hours after the time and drive. On my way home I notice the trim around the windshield on passenger side fell out and the one the driver side is broken. This is unacceptable! My trim was fine before and they are going to replace it. No way should I have to pay for a part on my car If the guy would have done his job correctly.Service: Auto windshield replacement

Alexander came to fix my windshield this morning & did amazing! Super easy, didn t even have to leave my house. Alexander was super nice & washed my windows when he didn t have to, I had a lot of glass in my car & he cleaned 99% of it out. I have never had to deal with anyone on my windows before. Jen was great. Very professional, explained what she would be doing and then vacuumed the inside and cleaned the window. Very impressed and would call these guys again in a heartbeat!!

Had a great experience with Safelite in Rapids! It was easy to schedule (even was able to use a promo code for $20 off online), and the staff were friendly and helpful. The new windshield install took about an hour and a half, but there are plenty of places to walk to close by to pass the time if you'd like. Great experience and definitely recommend!

We got there ahead of our appointment and they got right on the chip in the windshield. The repair was completed quickly and the quality was very good. They did a nice job.

They gave a broad appointment time between 8 and 5 which I know I would never go to a doctor and sit and wait for them to look at me . Than the installer or shop never called once to verify appointment and that they were going to be arriving after 5 pm. Which means if I had other plans - to bad. Not as their tag line states - Fast and Efficient!!!

After an unfortunate event happened that broke out the rear sliding panel on my truck I called safelight to get it fixed. Because I'm always working they sent out Tom a technician to repair the window for me. Not only did Tom show up early but after talking about the replacement glass he determined rather than replacing the entire back window like I had been originally quoted, he only needed to replace the slide window. He finished the job in about 40 minutes and that included vaccuming up my truck and cleaning the rear windows for me. To top it all off he called in seeing what he could do for me on getting the price reduced since "it was such a simple job". Within 10 minutes of him having been finished he called back to notify me that he was able to save me over 100$ on the bill! In the future if anything unexpected happens like this again I'll be sure to call safelight and ask for Tom. Service was great, Tom was great and saving money was even better. Thank you Tom, it is much appreciated!
