I want to express my gratitude for the work and effort this place put into my car. I am a college student who hasn t dealt much with auto repairs, and was really nervous about the costs of repairing my breaks, rotors, and possible calipers. Walking into Five Star I was greeted by the owner Fabian and expressed my concerns about my vehicle. He was able to figure out what needed to be accomplished and was totally transparent with me about possible pricing, so we worked out what was going to get done and they were able to get me in right away. I only have high praises for this place, Fabian and his son Rodger were extremely understanding and kind. If you have issues with your car you have to go Five Star Lopez.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto tire replacement

The service here is amazing! After being unsure what kind of oil to get, the employees explained and showed me the process of the oil change. They even stayed a little past their close time to complete the service. I can't recommend this place enough. Best place to get an oil change by far!

They kept me informed all the way through and even squeezed me in! The customer service was beyond great and prices were reasonable and gave me honest advice and great options depending on my needs! Will 100% be back!

Called 2 days ago and I asked when would be best for them to do to set up diagnostic test, they stated (Saturday) today. Drove there 30 minutes away and turned out they said they were too busy.That s too bad don t do that to a customer especially when they give them an opportunity to pick a date that works for them, not client.

Best customer service you could possibly ask for. The owner and his son exemplify not only what it takes to run a good business but also what it means to live the American dream and care for a stranger as they would a close friend. Fabio (the father) gave me a ride to my place to grab something I forgot after I had been dropped off. They even squeezed me in for rear tires to be replaced before they closed on a Friday after being swamped which allowed me to go to my best friends wedding. I could not be more thankful. The service received rivals the best I ve ever experienced. I m fortunate to have found them and I hope you make the smart decision to entrust them with your vehicle.

I highly recommend this business. I had an emergency with my car while on a long trip. I called Five Star and Roger told me to come right in. The team was able to diagnose the problem and fix it very quickly. Broke down at kwik trip and had it towed here. Told them what happened and they diagnosed it within 12hrs and had already gotten a jump on ordering parts. They broke down the price so that I understand the total cost breakdown. They tell you it how it is and dont add on any extra BS which we all appreciate. Overall very fast service and very honest. Stopped in because of a check engine light on a Saturday when they were quite busy. They got the parts I needed quickly; between the assessment and actual repairs, they had the car back to me within a couple of hours. Super friendly and professional staff, reasonable price for work that was completed. Explained all charges in detail before work was done. At my time at whitewater this place has never let me down. From my first visit to my last oil change 20 minutes before close, this auto shop has had courteous customer service and extremely reasonable prices

I went here before to get my other car checked out and we found out it was the transmission that was shot. They could have tried to sell me on buying one but they didn't do that. Instead, they told me that because my frame was cracked really bad, it wouldn't be worth paying for one.Fast forward to this week when I started hearing scraping noises under my vehicle. I called in, went there, and was done in about an hour (which is good since I needed my car for work that night). They also seemed pretty busy so it was great that they were able to take me on such short notice. They told me about some other problems and that they didn't need to get done that day or anything, but he gave me prices for everything and laid it out clearly. The prices were good compared to other places I've been. The guys there are all really nice and super chill as well, would definitely recommend.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I had a flat tire, and decided to just replace two of them to not have one odd-ball tire since I had the other 2 replaced not long ago. I was given a $9/per tire cheaper price on the tires than other shops were telling me (for the exact same tire), as well as when I came in to pay they knocked off $10 for the tire install itself. Tires arrived the day after they ordered them, and when I dropped my car off they were finished in less than 45 minutes. My trunk was a mess with the spare tire, tire jack, and roadside kit. When I arrived, he had neatly placed my spare under the floor board, as well as he reassembled my roadside kit so that I can actually find the tools i need when I need them! All in all, excellent work with wonderful pricing as well as the gentleman that I worked with was very nice and welcoming. I will be back if I have future car troubles!Service: Tires

We had a great experience with Five Star Lopez Auto. They were true professionals that immediately gave my family a sense of comfort and relief while repairing our son s car while we are over a 100miles away. Not only did they do a great job identifying and repairing the vehicle they went above and beyond and saved us at least $200. Excellent work and service. We highly recommend them!! Wonderful people. My car broke down at the worst possible time with a ton of repairs. These guys were very welcoming, put my car up on the rack and showed me exactly what needed to be fixed. I was low on money, so they worked with me to get the essentials repaired and also helped make sure I got my car as soon as I could. Great family, cannot recommend them highly enough. I m not a huge believer but I m from Beloit an hour away from here and I came to fort akitson and my tire blew out. I called multiple areas for my tire and they didn t have any in stock and I felt hopeless till I call them and they told me someone called earlier for the same tire size but they told them they didn t have any and moments later I called and he said he can take a look again and found it and he believes that the tire was meant for me and if he didn t have the tire I would have been stranded. They were able to squeeze me in on a fully booked day. Figured out what was wrong, went over it with me, & fixed it (only what needed to be fixed/I told them to fix) all in one day. Only reason 4 stars instead of 5 is because it would be nice if they provided you with a loaner car while working on yours. :)
