I live in the Twin Cities area now but drive here to for my truck repairs. Awesome group of people and really appreciate their help!! Best auto repair shop in the Midwestl!!

Hands down the best shop in the area! Great staff, fair and reasonable prices, honest service, and quality work! They take the time to explain the issues and repairs as best they can; as a single woman, I have never been talked down to, and they work hard to get my vehicle in as soon as possible. I cannot recommend this shop enough!

Last week my car started having issues accelerating while on my way home to Colorado. I called west side auto explained our situation and they were able to get us in ASAP. Thankfully it was a quick fix and we were back on the road in under two hours. Great customer service, great mechanics. Very greatful for them!

Had a check engine on our RV while passing thru Wausau. Stoped at West Side Auto. They check the code and since it was under Mercedes warranty, they helped us find a MB dealer et towing. They were very helpful and did not even charge us.

This place is AMAZING! They always get me in when needed, and make sure to do their best. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming when I walk into the door. They also are great at making the information about my car understandable so that I can comprehend what is happening, and what needs to be done. The overall environment is very clean, and comfortable. I also enjoy how they have glass in the waiting area so you can visually see what is happening to my car. I have walked out the door satisfied 100% of the time, even after coming here for the past 3 years! This car shop is the best in the area and I will continue to go here for all my automotive needs!

I m so pleased with West Side Auto! They got me in right away and they re SO well priced. I got three quotes and West side was almost half of another place in town! I asked how much they d charge for another thing I wanted done soon and they were almost 1/3 the price of what the dealership was going to charge me. Very friendly and trustworthy!

The experiences I've had working with West Side Auto have all been good. The people are very friendly and answer all of my questions. They are very responsive and fit me into their schedule. They notify me when my vehicle is done, and they always are in positive moods, which helps when I have longer days. Highly recommend them

I came in on a crisis. Hundreds of miles from my home it started misfiring and all the lights came on. I limped the car about 8.5 miles to get there and they took critical time out of their day, and made me a smiling customer. Now the car runs great and sorry Wausau, I'm. Passersby now. Thanks for solving my average problem under extraordinary care. Thanks for getting me back on the road Brian! AAA 100%

If I can give this 10 stars, I definitely would. I'm not from the area, and I've never had any car problems while traveling. A month ago I had car problems while traveling out towards that area and I had to get my car towed to the nearest auto shop, which I'm glad it was west side. By the time I got there it was probably around 3 almost 4 and they closed at 5 so I was nervous I was not going to make it to my destination. They were quick to figure out what was wrong and got the problem fixed right away. However, they found another problem with my car, and by this time it was closing time. They advised me that if I don't get this 2nd problem fixed that I probably wasn't going to make it to my destination and I definitely didn't want to get stranded again, so they called around to see if any shops that were opened later was able to help me, as this was going to be an hour fix. No shops were available, so west side auto technicians stayed after closing to get my car fixed. They have an awesome service and did a highly excellent job on my car. I was out by 6 and made it to my destination and back home safely. Best auto shop I've been to! Thanks guys!

West side auto has provided me excellent service time and time again. West Side Auto was recommended to me by a stranger, so I thought I would give them a shot. The first time I went in, they were very friendly and welcoming and attempted to correct something impossible for me and pointed me in the right direction for modifying the parts to fit and helped try them on several times. The fact they did not fit were not their fault in anyway, but they were still very helpful and didn't charge me for work they couldn't do, even though it took time out their day to help.Ever since then I have had only better and better experiences there. They are the only car place that has ever given me a quote for service, then gone above and beyond my expectations and STILL charged me less than the original quote. I couldn't be happier about their quality of work, great customer service, helpful attitude, and competitive pricing.I would recommend this shop above any others.

I was on my way home to Madison when handling problems with my car started. Even though it was Friday, and snowing, Tim got me in right away. I was back on the road in short order. The price was very reasonable and they also have the best waiting area I've experienced! Thank you very much!

West Side Auto did a excellent job on my transmission! and in a short amount of time. Also for half the cost that a dealer was going to charge for the same amount of work.I highly recommend them for any auto repair.

They had decent prices and treated me fair. They did not charge me a high price to use their computer, unlike other automotive service centers. In fact, I don't think they charged me for that at all. They were highly recommended and I have to say the same.

I can't recommend this place highly enough. Too often as a single woman I've come across mechanics that try to convince me I need expensive, unnecessary work done, but West Side's mechanics are honest and their pricing is very fair. There's no other place that I trust with my family's vehicles. On top of all that, the waiting room is clean and comfortable, and Briana does a great job of keeping everything running smoothly.

I searched for an auto repair facility in the Wausau area. I never really trusted repair shops with my vehicles and have done all my repairs myself. However, I did not have the time to do this myself and bleeding the ABS pump is a lengthy taskAfter searching amongst many shops in the Wausau area I decided to go with West Side Garage for help. I felt at ease after reading many four to five-star reviews. We made an appointment and dropped off our vehicle.My vehicle issue was and is air in the brake system including the ABS Pump. I explained this to the office when I made the appointment and she assured me that a bleeding of the brakes along with the ABS pump could be done. I felt confident that they could get it done for me and was excited to finally be able to drive my vehicle once again. The original problem was I had a leak in a cracked brake line which in turn caused my brake fluid reservoir to go empty. With the reservoir empty this introduced air into the brake system including the ABS pump. I had no braking issues with my vehicle prior to this leak. I replaced the brake line and bled the brakes. I could not get all the air out so I decided to take it in to someone who could do it for me. The brake pedal would shudder violently and I explained this to them. Again, I was assured they could bleed the system and remove the air.I arrived at West Side garage excited to pick up my vehicle. They told me it still had a little shimmy in the pedal and was because there was rust on my rotors. I paid my bill and was on my way. Not even a mile down the road and the brake pedal was exactly the same. Nothing had changed. Still a firm pedal with violent pulsating as before when I took it in. My vehicle did not have any braking issues prior to the brake line leak. It was after that air was introduced to the system.I immediately went back to the garage to explain to them that it was still the same and nothing had changed. Tim (one of the mechanics) came out to test drive my Jeep again after I explained everything as I stated above. He continued to tell me that my rotors were bad and just wanted me to buy some rotors and he was confident that would fix the problem.So long story short STAY AWAY from this place. I have since talked to other mechanics and they stated there is still air in my brake system. I was scammed out of $80. If they would ve done what they said they did then I would be driving my jeep.

I brought my vehicle into West Side for the first time and they did a great job diagnosing and addressing my issue in a timely and professional manner. Staff is extremely accomodative and friendly as well as seemingly immensely knowledgeable. I no longer live in Wausau but if I did West Side Automotive would be my 'go to' shop for automotive-related repairs. Highly recommended.

I was three hours from home when my cat started acting up. I pulled in on a whim to see if they could take a look at it. They pulled it back immediately and started working on it. The staff was super friendly and kept me updated while I was waiting. In less than two hours, I was on my way. Knowing the situation I was prepared to pay an enormous price, but they were more than fair. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

I am a bit of a shade tree mechanic and do a lot of my own car work. However some things, like a valve job are just not my idea of fun. Westside performed this repair for me much to my satisfaction. I was traveling across Wisconsin to a job when my truck started making a horrible noise. I stopped in, explained the noise and they had the truck on a lift in ten minutes. They solved the problem quickly and had me on my way as soon as possible. These guys are great friendly people. If I lived in the area this would be my regular service shop!

This is easily the best auto service within Marathon county, and I've been everywhere. The customer service is on par with a 5 star resort and hotel. Also when shopping around for the lowest price on a job or repair, this place always maintains the best price.

Tim & the guys are always so helpful and knowledgeable!! The prices are reasonable and my vehicles are taken care of in a timely fashion- they have always tried to accommodate my needs. I recommend this repair shop to anyone and everyone!!

Best auto repair shop in town! They are the only shop in Wausau we trust with our vehicle repairs. They have extremely reasonable prices and have got us in fast when in need of repairs. I appeeciate they allow us to bring in our parts.
