We had a remote start installed here. We absolutely love it!! Works great! The staff are very relaxed and friendly. We sat in comfy chairs while we waited and watched a movie. It was a wonderful experience.

I was pleased to meet the owner, Jon, he's a really cool guy! Travis was awesome in car audio! I bought some amazing Sony headphones from Brent, who gave me a great price! You can tell that everyone there loves audio and music; they're passionate about it. Great culture, great family atmosphere! You don't have to drive out of town for your audio needs, we have the best spot right here in Wausau.

Where do we start?!! Went in, asked for head unit install WITH back up cam for work truck inside $500. After they installed head unit with no cam they got angry with me for wanting the camera. Wanted to charge me for camera upgrade for $750. Do better. This is why i rarely trust installers for car audio in 52years on earth.

I recently had a new stereo installed on my older vehicle. I was very pleasantly surprised at the professionalism of Sound World. From the initial conversation regarding my needs to the day my scheduled install was done, they stayed in contact with me. I would definately recommend them to others.

I went to fix my audio system. I was not getting audio, they claimed that it was the head unit however it was the Amp, I have reason to belive they were attempting to take my $2000 head unit and rip me off I have concluded that it is the Amp via an independent shop, do not go here they seem to not have a clue of what they are doing and seem to be up to something. I will not be back and I do not recommend anyone goes here if you value your time and money.

Every time I visit Sound World looking for a solution to my audio problems, I always leave with a smile on my face. Their customer service is exceptional, as is their selection of audio equipment. Recently I bought a turntable and a set of speakers from them and couldn't be happier with the quality of both. I was assured I would love them, indeed I do.

I am so happy there is a place local you can go for your sound needs and concerns instead of the internet. The customer service is second to none. I went to have a needle replaced replaced on my turn table and Stafford was so helpful with the selection and even put it on for me. You can't get that online. Thanks Sound World for being awesome and a place for me to spend my dollars local!

Had to wait 2 weeks to get my truck in to get a system installed. Get to the store to drop my truck off to be told "someone was suppose to call you and tell you that we can't do it today." May I remind some of you that people work and when they take off of work to have the job done and to be told they can't do it just doesn't sit right! I have bought every system that I have owned through them. That will no longer be the case for me! Keep your sorries in your pocket because they don't give me back my vacation day! Time for me to find a new audio system place!

Great resource for high quality audio products. The bezel for my car radio was a really close fit but not perfect. They offered to replace and install the correct bezel without charging extra.

Bitter sweet. Had them put a system in my 02 jeep. The subs hit so hard it knocked the rust out that was holding up my evap canister and I have to replace my fuel pump as well. Hope the rear window holds up.

Stafford is awesome will hook you up with some Awesome Car Audio and Home ebtertainment and he will teach you alot about car audio as well. Travis who does the installation also knows what he is talking about and pretty helpful this is the only place that is relatively local that i will go to that handles all my subwoofers and amplifiers.

Great people! They took on a potential problem relating to our main radio (which temporarily wasn't working) in our Motor Home and handled it gracefully and w/ skill. We were traveling thru Wausau from California. Turns out after analyzing the potential problem, that there was really nothing wrong w/ the radio or speakers. They put time and effort in our problem and didn't charge a penny because they didn't find anything wrong. How refreshing in this day and age and I am deeply appreciative of thisbusiness and wish them great success in the future and will pay their kindness forward.

Great service and installation of a new subwoofer in my hatchback to my factory stereo. It really thumps and price was very reasonable. Highly recommended!

Umm no . Took my car hear to have a head rest monitor ran through the seat . I was quoted 100$ and told 2 hour job no problem . Its3 hours later .not done no one will tell me why it's taking so long being all secretive I seen electrical tape out . For no reason should it be out I told them do not wire anything .!!! Just put the cord through the seat !! So they must have broke something for the tape to be out but no one will tell me!!! Ok so the monitor did brake but the guys were honest and paid for it with no Hassel and for that reason I'll give them 3 stars accident happen. The staff was nice otherwise

Owner is a jerk and they don't know what they are doing. Hire more competent staff. If you value your money and want things done right, go somewhere else. You've been warned.

The people seem nice there, but they do not know how to tune a system in a car. I'll paint you a picture. I have a DS18 15" with a AMP pushing 2500 RMS into this single speaker and my radio volume goes to 62. I asked them to tune it so I can get the best sound from this 15" speaker.When done I paid $60 and got in the car with my friend. At volume 62 my friend and I can hear each other just fine. The bass was just a little boom. When I asked what happen to the bass they said it was done correctly so I don't over heat the system and no clipping.It's a DS18 competition speaker, my car should of been shaking the doors off at volume 62!!!!$60 wasted!

DONT GO THERE!!!! These people DRILLED A HOLE IN MY GAS TANK and the owner has been stringing me along for about 3 weeks about paying me back for the gas tank
