After waiting 6 hours for a AAA dispatched tow truck I called Joe Rader. The driver was at the house within 45 minutes. He did his business proficiently and was on his way in about 10 minutes. The dispatcher was friendly when I called; confirmed she had my information correct. It was a good experience on a very early Friday morning.

My car broke down just north of Wausau on 51 and I don't live in the area. The operator answered the photo after one ring, and within a minute had all the basic information needed to dispatch a drive to my location. The driver then called about 2 minutes later to confirm my location, and also gave a few recommendations for reputable, local, auto repair shops. The driver arrived within 15 minutes of our call. I spent less than half an hour stranded on the highway. Then, the drive to the auto shop was just over 15 miles, which normally would constitute a rate increase for towing mileage, but the driver charged me at the standard rate. Couldn't have been happier with the whole experience - fast response, gave good advice on auto shops, and professional service throughout the ordeal.

My son s car was rear ended and completely destroyed last night. The tow truck operator got to the scene before I did! Not only was he fast and efficient, he cleared the mess on the road, helped us retrieve personal items from the car, and kept us laughing through a stressful situation with his witty personality. He was very professional and competent. Give him a raise!

My vehicle was stuck in park and I could not turn the key. I called directly and the woman working dispatch was efficient in getting my information and sending a driver to my location quickly. Trent the driver took the time to assess my vehicle and see what options were available for loading it onto the tow truck. He was also professional and patient when answering my questions.Unfortunately, the rear wheels were locked, and this would require dragging the vehicle onto the bed of the truck. Trent was thorough in his explanation of the risk of drivetrain damage when dragging the vehicle, and I appreciate him asking my permission before doing it. I was prepared to watch my vehicle get pulled several feet; however, Trent is an expert operator and loaded my vehicle with little to no movement.When unloading, Trent got my vehicle back onto the ground smoothly. He even found a parking stall with snow on it at the repair shop so my vehicle could slide and minimize the potential for any damage. I really appreciate that he recognized how well I have cared for my vehicle and took the time to load and unload it carefully.Overall, I had a great experience with Joe Rader Towing. If Trent is any indicator of the quality of their employees, this is absolutely the place to call for a tow truck!

I've had to use Joe Rader towing twice. Both times they were quite prompt and the drivers professional and firendly. Plus, Joe Rader Towing is a supporter State Park Speedway. I would use this company again, but hopefully I won't need to!

Excellent service from the start!In store & stated keys locked in car & at least 4 or 5 individuals stated call Joe Rader Towing.Their reputation proceeds them to have so many ppl recommend this company. Really had a rough time dealing with these tough guys.. after someone stole my bike and they made me pay to get it out or risk running up a bigger bill I'm on a fixed income I shouldn't have had to pay to get my stolen bike back 400 is highway Robbery

Best experience with a towing company ever. Guy showed up early and helped to save my company a lot of money instead of taking the expensive route. His knowledge was far beyond just towing and he was not afraid to dig in and help in order to do what was best for the customer! This business has saved two of my kids. AAA left my teenage son late at night for 3 hours on the side of the road and finally a police officer called Joe Rader. They came within 20 min., and it turns out AAA dispatch never did call it in at all. The driver did not even charge my son and was so helpful, I am forever grateful. Recently my daughter got in a bad accident and the car was totaled. Joe Rader responded and the driver was again very helpful and the towing cost was very reasonable according to the collision place.Service: Car towing

Absolutely horrible service. My vehicle was dragged roughly 10 feet destroying brand new tires. They are supposed to use skids when the owner is not present. THEY DID NOT! Instead they hooked a chain and dragged my car. When bringing it up to an employee all he had to say was I didn t tow it Push it if you have too, what ever you have to do to avoid dealing with this company.Service: Special vehicle towing

Joe Rader (Jason) was my saving grace this evening. I had already been waiting over an hour for my roadside service from a third party with no luck. Decided to call around locally in hopes of quicker service. Luckily for me Joe Rader answered my call and promptly sent a truck (Jason). Jason was polite and professional, would definitely call again (but hopefully not needed ).

I had my 2008 ford fusion picked up today and they were right on time and go her in their flat bed right away, quick to the point and answered all my question. I will 100% use them in the future and you guys having a flat bed made me even happier

I requested to have my vehicle towed from my house by my insurance using roadside assistance because my vehicle was unable to be driven to a repair facility. They came and picked up my vehicle, everything was fine, until I called the next day to verify my vehicle was brought to the right facility. They said they never received my vehicle. Upon calling the towing company they said that they were instructed to drop it off at a different address, even though my insurance company emailed and texted me a copy of the invoice that says exactly what address it was supposed to be dropped off at. The towing company denied all wrongdoing and insisted that the address that they dropped the vehicle was brought to was correct, even though it was not. I should also mention that my insurance did tell me later that the address was edited by the towing company, so they towed it to where they wanted to basically. If you care about your vehicle, and want to make sure it gets brought to the proper location, I would look elsewhere. Very, very unprofessional company. No apology, nothing to make it right, they wouldn t even tow it to the proper location which resulted it me having to wait 3 extra days to get my vehicle fixed. Will not, and would not recommend using this company ever again. Very sketchy business.

Had a blowout on interstate with no spare. Driver was there within 15 minutes of phone call. Very fast and friendly service. Price was a little less than i expected, which is always good. I'm not sure of driver's name but i believe it was owners father in law. Very helpful! Thank you so much for rescuing us!

Locked my keys in my car. Called Joe Rader Towing and they told me they'd have someone to me in 30 minutes. Came exactly as stated, professional and quick. I was expecting such a service to be around $100 but paid just under $60. I was stuck in Wausau with a car that wouldn't start after stopping for lunch on the way back from a family ski trip in da UP. After waiting for a tow truck that was sent my way for 3 hours(No Show) I was then set up with Rader. Trent was there in about 20 minutes, and within 5 minutes, we had a plan of action and got it where it needed to go so I could get picked up for my 2 hour remainder of my ride home. I'm grateful for Trent, his high level of professionalism, and most of all, his kindness he showed me when I really needed it. Thank you, Trent and Rader team!Services: Car towing, Local hauling

Big thank you to the driver that came to get me in Shawano county on the way home from the Packer game on 11/13/22!! I was in the middle of no where and he got to me as soon as possible. Craziest thing broke on the engine causing it to overheat. Neither the driver or myself found any liquid underneath the car. Jokes was on us....all of the coolant dumped out inside the car on the passenger side.Service: Car towing

Called the cops and locksmith but was left with no one to help me to unlock my car after I locked my keys inside. Was running out of options and decided to try Joe Rader Towing to see if they could help and they were able to. Daughter's car was stolen and brought to their impound lot. After going to a ridiculous amount of trouble to get a notarized document to get access to see if the new key I had made would work, they never asked for it and didn't even ask for my ID when I got there. Aside from the outrageous price of $250 for being there less than 24hrs, the old guy sitting by the door was among the rudest people I've ever met. If I ever need a tow, I would gladly pay twice what their rate is to never have to deal with such a poorly run business again. If i could give zero stars i would.
