I always enjoy stopping in at Firestone! The customer service is excellent and they always make sure to let me know of any issues right away to avoid problems in the future which I really appreciate. They have wonderful financing options and charge a fair price for all services. I will continue using them for all my car needs in the foreseeable future! Thanks Firestone for being a great company to work with!

It was very easy to get an appointment and get my car in, that I was having issues with. I had an appt on March 21st to get it checked out. they needed to order parts were able to set an appt already on March 27th and get my car fixed They're always very prompt and easy to get in to, they do great work, very professional and treat you great.

Booked an appointment online, showed up and was advised that their scheduling service online is off by a few days . They could reschedule me, even though I drove 40 minutes to my appointment and not squeeze me in.Drove back today, showed up early. Advised him yup breaks are squealing need a check. He said oh you have a modified car I can t do anything . I advised him all that s changed is spacers 15mm. Nope we won t touch it even if you did take them off.. will never go back to any Firestone after him.

I spent close to $1100 to repair my battery light. I was told it needed a new alternator, which I had them replaced. Drove from there to the Dells and the alternator started smoking and then the car died. I had to tow my vehicle from the Dells back home, Mpls, and the vehicle is now at the shop.I will update review once vehicle is fixed again!

I want to give recognition to Firestone!They have taken good care of my Dodge Magum up into my accident in December 2021 and now they are taken good care of my Ford Fusion. It is hard to put trust in people but I trust that my vehicles are in good hands here.I have been having constant issues with my front passenger tire. I had JD Byrider (where I purchased my vehicle form) reseal my beading on my passenger side and then had my valve steam replaced twice, last replacement was in October, but I was still having issues with that tire and it s been ongoing since the summer. Yesterday my tire was nearly flat at lunch time so I called Firestone up for an appointment at 4pm (Tuesday, 12th). Found out that that tire was shredded/damaged inside. I asked if I can see my tire and without hesitation they took me back to where my vehicle was and showed me my bad tire. They were thorough with explaining the corrosion, the shredding, and what alloy tires are notorious for and also too.Firestone also looked out for me with cost and safety. The only tire that they had in stock Tuesday was a tire over $200. They didn t want to see me pay that cost for a tire especially with Christmas coming up. I was told they will have more tires in stock Wednesday, 13th. Appointment was made for 12/13 after work. I was able to get a tire for around $125. They put a spare tire on my car last night so I can still have my vehicle for work in the morning. They also rotated my tires, so the spare is on my back passenger side. It has been quite an ordeal with that tire that has been damaged inside unknowingly that was the root cause.Now, I finally have a peace of mind and my car is healthy again.A huge thank you for Firestone.

5 stars for customer service. Price a little higher than the dealerships, but I was in a pinch. Clean waiting area and nice uncluttered displays. Love the fact that you can register online for an appointment. I've been there in the past for tire issues and was satisfied as well!

They told me that I needed a couple things done to my car. Took my car in to get that exact $1,000 worth of repair done to it per their recommendations. Went to leave when the repairs were done and there was a horrible noise coming from my driver's side, so I parked it, went back in and asked them what that was. A guy came out to the car to "listen" to me turn my steering wheel in place. Then they told me I needed more work done which didn't exist when I drove in there for my appointment. I think they are scamming single women out of their money. Just a heads up. Would not recommend.

Took our car there to get some work done on Monday. Now today Wednesday. There s a big clunking noise coming from the passenger side front. Seems like everyone I talk to about them say the same thing you bring your car there then a few days later there s something wrong. Scam of a place

Went because my engine light came on; guy at front told me I could drop it off and come back in an hour. Came back and the car wasn t even started on; and all the mechanics were just standing around, and was giving looks as if I was rushing it. I unfortunately had a tire blow on my way to my moms house and this was the only place open with availability with my tire size. I will say I was a little nervous reading some of the other tire reviews.. and I m SO thankful I didn t care what they said! :) I got 4 brand new tires with an alignment with warrantys all done in maybe an hour. They were able to do exactly what I need in even less time than I expected with perfect results, my cars driving straighter than ever! Thank you guys for helping me out on such short notice and doing such a beautiful job and treating me with respect and kindness during a vulnerable moment. I will come back for tire rotations and whatever else needed when I m near by!Service: Tires

So I have adjustable coilovers on my Mazdaspeed 3 but everything was set back back to OEM or very similar (height and dampering). I have all brand new OEM strut components installed too with brand new tires and are in need of a wheel alignment to finish off my setting. Call my local firestone located on 2201 Grand Ave, Wausau WI. They told me they will not touch my car because of the basic adjustable coilovers. I've been to many firestone shops in Rhode Island that did my wheel alignment with coilovers and they did a great job. I understand the voided warranty issue, but this place is straight up low-key racist. Firestone of Wausau straight up kick themselves in the balls because they sell after market rims and tires and are willing to install them on to your car even if it doesn't meet OEM specs. Sooo???? I'm not going to firestone in Wausau WI anymore or buying anything from them. Be ware everyone, if your guy have a car that is modified just a little, they won't touch your car even if it's close to OEM. Don't waste your time here. Go to your local alignment shop where they will help you to your car's specs setting rather with performance or factory parts.

After taking my car to 3 other places to get a new rim as mine was bent I went here. They were a le to get me a rim within a week then replaced it as I scheduled a day to do so. They did the service well and quick. I also had them do a oil change. My skid plate was falling off but I had forgotten to mention it and when I got the car back it was all re secured without them mentioning a word about it. I will be using Firestone for my auto needs from now on. Very satisfied with everything from start to finish. I also paid less then I was expecting. Good job this review was well earned.Services: Tires, Wheel alignment, Oil change

They were nice staff but I definitely feel like they scam. I brought my car in to be looked at and fix my heater, they wanted to charge almost 900$ to fix it and that s with charging 90$ to just look at it. I couldn t do it and got a second opinion and had another shop fix it for less than 400$. Come to find out they were trying to replace an extra part that wasn t even broken. Maybe they had their reasons but I m not a fanService: Air conditioning

My alternator went out Memorial Day weekend. Dropped off my vehicle at 10 and was done by 1! Great friendly service and reasonable prices!

Got free tire rotation with new tires. When I had the rotation done they didn't balance them nor put the right amount of air in the tires. Had to pay Walmart to redo their work they didn't do. Appreciated the fast service but not the better service they should have provided. Also on the day I got the new tires they showed me how the alignment was off on paper. They did a alignment so they said found out different from my local garage. With tires and alignment paid $1160 only went there cause I got approved for Firestone credit card 0% interest for 6 mths will be paying that off quick. I will see if some of my bill get credit back to me after they read this review. Read in other reviews they say they take bad reviews seriously I will need to see proof of that before I would go back or recommend them to not even my worst enemy.

Fast service and answered all of my questions. Just wish they were a little more clean with installing my tires. There was lubricant on them from the installation process and a little grease on the rims. But it came off at the carwash. For the speed and accuracy of service I can't complain too much. Would recommend.

HONEST MECHANICS DO EXIST! I was in town on a road trip from Orlando, FL when I had a questionable experience while driving through IL. I called on a Monday morning not long after this location opened and I spoke with Renee. She was amazing! She listened to everything I had to say, she validated my feelings, and reassured me we could figure out the issue and ensure I get back to Florida safely. Renee was able to get in me that same day, and a gentleman by the name of Ben was able to pinpoint the issue. Turns out what another mechanic quoted me was completely wrong (dude said it was my alternator and it ended up actually being my battery!) and Renee/Ben saved me over $400 in simply getting me set up with a new battery. The battery came with a 3 year warranty and I felt confident driving 1300+ miles across country knowing if I had any issues I could go to any Bridgestone/Firestone location and I would be okay. Thank you Renee, Ben, and Wausau BS/FS staff for not only meeting but exceeding my expectations at my recent visit!

As much as I dread the inevitability of having to replace tires (mainly due to the cost), the three service advisors at this Firestone made it a good experience for me. There's the younger guy (I think his name is Tyler), the big guy, and the older guy - all these guys were so professional and transparent with all the pricing involved. So great job guys! I'll recommend this location to anyone who asks.

They did get me in quickly and figured out the problem. However, they quoted me $500+ To fix my car since there was a hole in the muffler. Since the muffler and resonator were connected they said they would have to replace the whole entire thing. In reality you don t have to. You can separate them pretty easily and replace just one or the other. They quoted me 400 just for the muffler and resonator assembly. I went on Amazon, got the EXACT same stainless steel muffler for $60 and went to mex muffler in madison who charged me $90 to separate and replace just the muffler (and didn t charge me for the clamp). Got the problem fixed for $150 instead of $500+

This is the second time I ve attempted to use Firestone. I got a quote for breaks rotors and a new caliper for one side of my vehicle totaling 594.54 for the parts before labor. I ordered parts locally brand new for 220.38 which is less than half the cost for the parts I was being charged for. I m not sure how the price is so much higher based on the quote but I m not willing to pay sky high prices for the same parts and have decided to take it to a shop who was willing to use the parts I have purchased. I recommend doing research and maybe a second opinion before making any decisions. I rated this 2 stars because the customer service was acceptable.
