On March 28,2024 I went to Brickners in Wausau for an oil change. It did not go well. First there was no greeting only here for an oil change. I then went to the waiting area. The room was full so I knew I would have a wait. So I waited n waited. People. came n went. After almost two hours I went to find out why so long. Here my car had been done for over an hour. No apologies. No one went to find out what happened. I went to the cashier and pointed out my keys hanging on the Wall and your cashier offered up I called your name. I got no apology, what I got was blamed for the entire situation. I don't think I will be coming back anymore. Your customer service has gotten very lax. Also to add insult to injury I didn't get a code for a free car wash either.

Went to get my oil changed in the express lane. I arrived at 3:14 pm. My car didn t even get pulled back for service until 3:47 pm. At 4:16, someone comes out and tells me they re almost done but my wiper blades are worn down. There s no way as they were just replaced last month. I deny those services, and think I m about out the door after an hour for an express service. At 4:48, I saw them park my car in the lot outside. They then worked on paperwork for five additional minutes. I got in line to pay and they hadn t taken off my discount from the jeep appointment and had to wait another ten minutes for them to change my receipt and to pay. At 5:05, nearly two hours after my arrival, I finally walked out the door. I have the times because I was texting my boyfriend throughout this entire process. There were multiple individuals who arrived after me and got more services done, like tires rotated, and got to leave before me. I definitely did not plan my evening around a two hour express oil change.

Outstanding customer service !! We were traveling from Illinois to the U.P. Michigan on a snowmobile trip. We had a problem with our DEF system and pulled into the dealership. We disconnected our trailer pulled into the shop, met with Jenica who got us in right away. The service team installed a new DEF pump and got us back on the road in a timely matter. Hats off to the whole service department who went above and beyond to get us back on the road. Thanks again!

EDITED. When I bought my truck from brickner's 2.5 years ago I would have giving a 5 star now I wouldn't even give it a one star but that is the lowest I can go. When I purchased my previous owned truck all was good I bought a 5 year extended warranty was told when I bought it this was a bumper to bumper warranty and I had some issues went to colby crystler and they told that my warranty was expired at the end of this month so came into brickners and tried to tell them that there was something not right with the warranty they then proceeded to tell me that the warranty I purchased was in fact a 5 year warranty bit it was not a bumper to pumper it just covers the electronics and that my other warranty does intact expire so when I asked him today he told me that the warranty I wanted would have only been 1000 more but in my opinion they lie and I would not recommend to any one to ever go here again. They sy one thing and then do another .......Steven brickner I understand you are going to defend your company and your employees but the fact is the day I bought the truck we wanted the 5 year bumper to bumper warranty minus regular wear and tear and that's what we told them and that's what we thought we were buying I would not have had a issue paying the extra thousand the day we purchased the truck at least thats what he told me today it would have cost so yes your team did deceive us and lied about the warranty so that makes you and your team liars and now you have lost what would have been a loyal customer.

It was a pleasure doing business with Brickner s of Wausau. We purchased a 2016 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk. They took care of us from the beginning to beyond the purchase. We received great communication and service. We appreciate everything Trae Butler s did for us! Truly a man of integrity! He went above and beyond for us.We highly recommend Brickner s of Wausau!

From the moment someone answered the phone at my first call to even after the sale, Brickner's Of Wausau made me feel VALUED as a customer. I worked with Bob Amacher. He was very knowledgeable of the vehicle I was buying and did everything to make sure I was satisfied with the transaction (including the little things they did for me after the sale that they certainly did not have to do). I am 50, so you can imagine how many vehicles I have bought in my life. This is truly the first time that I felt like I got a FAIR deal from a car dealership and that was very important to me. I will absolutely be a repeat customer and would feel comfortable referring my Grandmother to Bob at Brickner's. Thank you guys!

I have bought many vehicles thru the years at different dealerships around Wisconsin, and working with Tyler at Brickner was by far the best experience I ve ever had. Tyler was very responsive to all my communication, and the entire process from finding the Jeep to driving off the lot was seamless. The most effective and efficient deal I have ever had at a dealership. If you are looking for a new or used vehicle don t hesitate to give Tyler at Brickner s a call. SITUATION HAS BEEN REMEDIED: I bought my Jeep Charokee less than a year ago from Brickners. I asked them to check over everything for me to make sure that everything was sound before I bought it. I chose the payment plan to pay extra monthly to keep it under warrantee. I have since brought my car in 4 times. Each of those times, I brought it in for noises that I heard and jerking I felt while driving my car. They never could figure out what the noises I heard or jerking was but they did find numerous other problems. Two of the times the warrantee covered the cost, except for $100 deposits that were required. The last time I brought it in, they said the noise was from bad spark plugs. I had family replaces those because they wanted to charge me $900 to change my plugs. My family member did it for $300. The cost of the parts were $200 (and I bought the higher end kind). Whenever I had to use a rental car with them, the customer service was awful and frustrating. Today, I brought my car in somewhere else for the noises that I was inquiring about because Brickners could not figure it out and they found the problem in 30 minutes. I will never buy a car from Brickners again and I would not recommend them to anyone.

I have worked with Brickner's of Wausau for over 3 years now, every purchase made has been a positive experience. More importantly, when it comes to dealerships it is hard to always know if you are getting a good/fair deal, regardless if you are buying new, used, or trading a vehicle in. Every instance that applies to myself, and others I work with, that purchase from Brickner's have been treated above and beyond what I have experienced in the past. Everyone I have worked with has been excellent. Reviews are not something I post all the time, however when a business like Brickner's impresses me and I feel confident in the purchase, I am happy to do so. If you are reading this and interested in a RAM, Jeep, chrysler product etc... give them a chance. I think you would be more then happy!

Wow, walked into your service center, got 4 people sitting at computers , nobody says a word to me , just stares , I might have been on the wrong side and looking for the body shop but still ,And then went to your cashier , to ask how to get to the body shop and she was rudeThe only redeeming quality was Kevin the body shop. who took care of my car, very pleasant, kept me up to date ,and now my front end looks better than it did before the accident!!! I hope they're paying you well Kevin !!!

Highly recommend the Body Shop for any and all RV work. Brought our 22 Wayfarer in twice recently, once for collision damage and again for additional minor body work. Kevin was great to work with and the quality of the repair work was excellent. Great attention to detail and very personable customer service.

If I could leave half a star, I would probably start with that. I don t say this lightly; as we have given Brickners SO many chances to provide service. We have been customers for years, and have now had the same type of situation happen not once, not twice, but THREE times! I ll generalize the situation - schedule service appointment, bring vehicle in, diagnosis. Parts need to be ordered. Wait patiently, no follow up from Brickners. Wait a few more weeks, still nothing. After a month, call Brickners yourself for part status/new service appointment date and receive the response oh I m sorry it looks like your parts haven t been ordered followed by something like, someone new was working here that day, or that person is no longer with us . I get turnover happens, I get mistakes happen - this is exactly why we have been patient and have given Brickners more than one chance. We finally had an appointment and parts finally arrived! Bring our vehicle in and receive a phone call not even an hour later that the parts that were ordered are WRONG. After this final time this week, I have had enough. This is a large company, with standard operating procedures I m sure, and we continue to have these same issues. No one ever really seems to care either, it s just kind of shrugged off time and time again. We will never use Brickners again. Extremely disappointed after years of poor service. I think it s definitely time to find a small company for our vehicles that values repeat customers and quality service.

Sales team was awesome! Everything went smoothly with them. However, service team could use some work and do better. I bought my 2022 Jeep Renegade from them back in June. drove it for two weeks and the AC started leaking and it was hissing. Called service team right away and brought it in for them to take a look at. Was told the AC line got a hole in it and they had put in an order for the part. Mind you, this was my very first time buying a car and I know nothing about cars, therefore I put my trust in them and waited patiently for them. I understand that the car is fairly new and parts may take longer. I tried to not call them so much because I trust that they re doing their part too. However, everytime I called, they couldn t provide an answer other than there s no update, no call back from the other party. Everytime I called, there s no update. They re always rushing to hang up on me and not give me a chance to ask questions. The third time that I called, I was told there are eight parts in and they will try to get one in asap for my car. I called again two weeks later and again, there was no update on parts. Fast forward to late august-early September, it was getting cooler so I tried using the heater and it was hissing as well. Called service team again and had my brother took it in. AGAIN, my brother were told there s nothing they can do because there s no parts in. at this point, there s really no point of working with them. I called Kocourek in Stevens Point and they asked me to take my car in right away. The following day, they were able to tell me what was wrong and put in an order for the part. They were able to provide me the time of when the parts will be in, which I was told it would be 45 days or longer. They were apologetic about the issue and that brickners didn t do their best to help me. Within just 30 days, the part was in and they were able to get my car done the same week that they called. Again, service team at brickners could do better. Would not recommend this place to anyone even though sales team was awesome. Fix it. It s the end of October now and still didn t hear anything from Brickners. Not that I am expecting a call from them anyway, but it really shows Brickners characters.

I have been going to Brickner's for several years now for service and have always felt like a valued customer. Kevin and Matt in the service department have been a pleasure to work with and have always answered any questions I have regarding the work being performed on my vehicle. Back in February, I was in a tough spot with my old vehicle and Brickner's went above and beyond assisting me with locating a vehicle that met my needs. Bill Birkenmeier is excellent to work with and will treat you fairly when going through the vehicle purchasing process. I will continue to do business here as I am a highly satisfied customer.

Friendly staff and reasonably priced. Full synthetic oil change, tire rotation, and fluids checked under $80. I've changed my own oil and it cost almost $60.

If I could give them zero stars I would. Chose them to install a new moon roof on my jeep because I was from out of town traveling and it broke when I was in town and they were the only jeep dealer around. Was assured the work was guaranteed and if there was a problem I could take it to any jeep/Chrysler dealership and they would fix the issue, which put me at ease since I was from out of town. I found out this was a lie when I noticed and issue a couple days later when it rained. I tried to take it to my local jeep dealer they said They had no idea what I was talking about when I mentioned that it should be covered and no expense to me. So I was forced to drive back to Wausau to have them look at my vehicle once again. This was done in the service department. So when I brought it back they told me there was chunks of broken glass in the drain tubes so water doesn t drain properly and that i would need new ones which they were going to try to charge me for. This is a direct result of their technician not doing the job properly the first time. In the end the issue was not resolved.They had me travel four hours round trip for no reason just to try to charge me more money so please do yourself a favor and go get work done on your vehicle somewhere else where they actually care about the customer and their quality of work.

Really enjoyed working with Mr.Birkie as he was very thorough, not pushy, and took the time to familiarize us with the vehicle's features. Love our new truck. Dealership is clean and service is exceptional. Would definitely recommend and plan to return.

Terrible service department. Work is sloppy or they just say they can't figure it out and send you on your way. Even after a simple oil change I had the joy of climbing under my vehicle in winter to put the oil change flap on the bottom back up because they over turned it when they let it down so the piece that holds it up was of a quarter turn off and didn't stay up when they put it back up. When I called to let them know they did not seem concerned in the slightest. This is the second vehicle bought from them over the years but with the service being as bad as it is there will not be another.

My wife and I decided to get a newer used truck, to accommodate our growing family. We stopped in on a very busy Saturday, decided to call and make an appointment with the first available salesman. I received a call back from Glenn who is nothing short of amazing to work with. We came in the next Monday and I laided out my wants and our families needs for the new vehicle, he never tried to pressure or push us in a direction we didn't want to go. After a few short minutes on the computer looking at the inventory he found a vehicle that hit all our needs. He took us outside and showed us the truck, he was knowledgeable and courteous with a laid-back demeanor that really put us at ease. We came back Tuesday morning and purchased the truck, I highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle. Glenn receives the highest level of praise from us, I will be telling everybody about my amazing experience at Brickner's of Wausau under the guidance and care of Glenn.

A great place to purchase a vehicle. Just purchased my 3rd vehicle and it was a great experience as usual! John Sjoberg did a fantastic job showing us our options and made the transaction smooth and without pressure.Highly recommend him and the whole dealership!
