This place is hit or miss I've noticed in the last year. On 3/21/2024 my son had oil change for upcoming trip. Thank goodness it was canceled. He put on approximately 260 miles when coolant light came on. We checked fluids on 4/14/2024. Almost out of antifreeze and windshield wash. The slip says the fluids were checked. The trip would of been about 600 miles round trip. Young adults would of been possibly stranded. This is not okay. I understand this place doesn't like to fill fluids but don't put on your slip you checked it. You didn't and could of caused a huge amount of problems. Oil changes should check fluid levels, tires and look at brakes. Bare minimum.Seem super rushed and skip necessities.Do better please. Customers should feel safe after your service.

Very happy with the work that was done on my vehicle. Very easy to book an appt, and got my car back to amazing when they were done. And wasn't all that expensive. Thank you guys and gals I appreciate you!

Our daughter at NTC was having oil pressure issues. She dropped it off on the weekend, was able to get a next day assessment by booking online. They were thorough but honest without charging an arm and a leg. They also gave her useable tips to watch for as her car is aging but didn t prompt her to get extra services done. Thank you for being professional and kind!

My first experience was awesome. They explained everything to a t. They know what there doing. They give you a estimate on what else they find wrong. And somethings they told me I knew already. Yes I will go take my car back to them. I will also tell my family and friends to go there.

My rear brakes started grinding while I was passing through Wausau and I needed someone to take a look at them. They were able to get me right in to diagnose the issue. They immediately got to work on replacing the brakes and rotors. The price was fair and the customer service was excellent. They saved my day and allowed me to get home safely. It was comforting to find a trusted place. I would highly recommend them.Service: Auto brake repair

I called to schedule an oil change and tire rotation based on a coupon they provided. I was in and out with an addition of replacing windshield wipers in less than hour to continue my many errands of the day, professional , courteous service from a small town buisness, I am very happy doing buisness with the little guy.

I bought new tires from the Lube place in October 2023 and a week later had an alignment scheduled here. Found out I needed a lot of things replaced first. Paid over $4000 for new joints and shocks plus the 4 wheel alignment. Well once the snow came found out the car pulled from all directions and tired lost 1/4in in the inside because the alignment was never done. Took my car someplace else and paid to get the alignment done right. Now need to get my tires tread even out. Not happy to pay more money to get the the 4 wheel alignment I was suppose to get!

Excellent service! Stopped by with car overheating. They immediately checked it, gave me a loaner (very lucky one was available). They ordered parts and had my car repaired by midmorning the next day. Very happy with Little Wolf Automotive!!

This shop is not only professional but an nice family place to go. It is not often you find a shop willing to work with you and not out just to get all the money they can out of you. I so appreciated that they were honest and upfront regarding what my car needed and what things could wait. I did not feel pressured into services which were not needed. Pricing was fair and with an appointment, I was in and out in no time! I went to Stolzes in Wausau on Bridge Street!Well priced, friendly, honest mechanics. They give it to you straight. They will let you know if something may need to be fixed but also if it needs to be now or if it can wait, and how myluch it will be, so you know what to expect when you come back. I had a few things wrong with my car, but only needed some fixed now. I will be returning for the other work to be done as well.This business is your local/neighborhood auto repair shop, and I support small business over big business whenever possible.

I am super happy with Little Wolf Automotive; the fellow there, Tim, is professional and one of the most knowledgable mechanics in the auto service industry that I have ever met. You will not leave without learning something new. This particular trip consisted of replacing my engine's water pump.

If the outdoor of a facility looks exceptional, chances are what takes place inside the building is just as good...and that was the case here!My 2002 Chrysler Town & Country had previously been in many Georgia and southeastern WI shops before it was correctly and properly repaired at Little Wolf Automotive (the van was not getting any a.c. or heat due to a defective blower unit, blower resistor and cable harness). The fan setting would only work in a low or high setting and nothing in between or at times, it simply didn't work at all.Little Wolf Automotive has 5 star reviews and there are numerous reasons why that is. I have 2 other vehicles and when it comes time for additional service needs, my vehicles compass will be pointed in the direction of S Western Avenue. 2 thumbs up...way up!!! Was told I needed a new air conditioning compressor as the blower was not sending cold air. Wanted 1100.00 which is 500.00 over average. I've been going here for almost a decade and the last two times I went in weren't great. They are a lot slower than they used to be and half the people there almost don't seem like they know what to do. Both times I went in they gave me a receipt for services they didn't perform such as checking the air filters or cabin filters or even putting air in the tires. The first time I assumed they were just having an off day , but when i went in the second time with a different vehicle and they again didn't check a lot of the things listed on the receipt it makes me feel like there might be a different owner or manager now.I watched one employee basically running around doing almost everything while others didn't seem like they knew what to do. One employee attempted to check the air filter , played with the air box for about 30 seconds , couldn't figure out how to open it , and just gave up and didn't check it. One of my cars they checked/filled the tires on , the other they didn't check at all. One of my cars they randomly tested the battery , determined the brand new battery was bad and tried to sell me a new one again...... and the other car they didn't test the battery at all....The last time I went , they told me I was good to go and didn't give me a window sticker for the oil change , when i asked if i could have one the millage was wrong on it.... Like i said I don't know what happened to this place recently but it kinda sucks because they used to be really good.Service: Oil change
