I have purchased from them in the past and can say they were very knowledgeable and were able to get me the products I needed. I never had to order any parts or products I purchased as they had everything in stock. My last experience was fantastic as I reached out to them via the internet on a zero turn mower they had in stock. I received a prompt call back from Jordan who was very professional and explained everything up front. There were no hidden fees, the price was great, all my questions were answered, and he got me every possible discount he could. Needless to say I purchased the unit and they are holding it for me at not cost until the grass starts growing. Thanks to Jordan and all at American Power, I can t wait to pick it up and start manicuring my lawn.

I've been a happy customer of American for 15 years, they've never let me down and go above and beyond to get you back on the job. There prices are the same as you will pay at big box stores, but big box stores will not be as knowledgeable or have your back on any warranty work. Stop by and see them today! Just bought a new tractor from them and they were awesome at walking me through all the options and making sure I got the accessories and options that were right for me and my business, not what they wanted to sell. Jordan is always knowledgeable with parts and finding the best way to get them in stock even with the parts crisis going on right now with production still suffering post covid era. Vinnie is always upfront and seems to have a knack for getting things done in a pinch and great at using common sense on repairs such as replacing a belt that's obviously worn and gonna fail soon, as opposed to just ignoring it and having it break on me later. Ms. Hidee always has a way of making everyone feel like family that walks through the door even if some of us test her patience some days (lol) and in a world of throw away junk, these guys are still selling quality products, that they stand behind.

Had Simplicity zero turn worked on here-very hood experience with repair- also asked for chainsaw advice when I needed a new Stihl bar. Great knowledge of options and helped confirm my carbide chain would fit a new 20 bar. Good people working there

It was a pleasure working with Jordan and the folks at American Power Equipment. Purchased a Ariens Razor Mower, new offering this spring. They stayed in contact with me on the status of the mower every step of the way. When I picked up, Jordan gave me a thorough explanation of the mower's features. Everything was set to go and filled with gas. The whole experience exceeded my expectations. Thank you again for everything you can't get at a Big Box Store! I will be back.

Had a wonderful experience purchasing a Toro mower from them. They were knowledgeable and answered any questions I had. I even had same day delivery and was shown how to use my new mower. Will will use them when it's time to service our equipment. Highly recommend

Purchased a 2023 ztx52. Cut my mowing time from a 48 inch john deere tractor from 1.5 hours to 30 minutes.very happy with the purchase. Very nice poeple to work with.

Went to try to find a backpack Stihl leaf blower and they did not have it In stock. They went above and beyond and called other stores trying to find me my backpack blower. Not too many businesses are willing to do that! I purchased my zero turn for them too

American Power Equipment has performed annual service on my Simplicity lawn tractor since 2014 and I have always been 100% satisfied with the quality of their work and their customer service. I just purchased a new Ariens snow blower from them and both price and customer service was good. A good place to do business with!!!

American Power Equipment went above and beyond for me on a repair that was time sensitive. They were very nice people to deal with and they got the job done correctly that other shops had refused to attempt. Also they were very honest and fair with their pricing. Highly recommend!

I bought a used riding lawn mower last summer (2019) and I know nothing about the maintenance/troubleshooting. I called in with some questions that I had and everyone was so friendly, patient, and knowledgeable I knew that I called the right place. Anytime I need parts or service, they will be the company I will call. I wish there were more than just five stars that I could give them!!

Very good company to buy from. Very knowledgeable and up front with costs. They take the time to find the right parts when needed and have no problems ordering in equipment if it is not in the store. Ive been shopping at american power in waterford since 2002 and have had nothing but excellent service from an extremely courteous staff.I run my equipment hard and have on occasion need for repairs I cannot do myself and American power over the last decade and a half has never failed to repair my lawn care equipment in a timely manner.Just old fashioned polite service you don't get just anywhere. I grew up in south Texas and American power is like a little slice of southern hospitality brought up north. Very refreshing.

American power is an excellent place to buy quality power tools. I have purchased several Echo items recently and they have performed flawlessly. Clean store and great displays. They show appreciation for your business also. I highly recommend American Power equip.

I bought a 2021 Massey Ferguson GC1725M from American Power Equipment in December of 2021. They were great about the purchase. They were great with the delivery and follow up. Am looking forward to getting another machine and attachments from them!

I searched high and low for someone local who had a part for a carburetor that broke on me and most people gave little to no assistance trying to find it. Not at American power. Despite being pretty busy, they took the time to figure out exactly what I needed. And they had it in stock!! I was up and running and got my grass cut the same day!I could have purchased the part from the internet but these guys took the time to help me and have officially earned my business permanently.

I've bought a lawnmower, a snow throw, and today a new husqvarna chain saw from Amercian Power Equipment. The price is the same as you'll find online anywhere and the difference is the people. You will not find a more friendly and knowledgeable staff anywhere. Jordan didn't just sell me a chain saw he took the time to help me find the right one for my needs. Then he set it up for me and ran through the basic operations and even maintenance. This is the only place I buy equipment from.

NEW REVIEW!! AWESOME SERVICE!!!!I had an issue with my Toro Z Master mower and called American Power. After my previous conversation with the owner I figured I would give them another chance. All I can say is AMAZING. They picked up my mower the same day I called, and they had it repaired and returned the following day. Literally less than 24 hours from when I called them to schedule the repair. Not only did they do the repair but they got it done under warranty, and in addition they inspected the mower for another issue I had and cleaned it all up and returned it to me in better shape then I gave it to them in. They have permanently earned my business!!!! Thank you for the outstanding service and I am thrilled to have a quality company like American Power in our little town of Waterford.I wish I could have posted a whole new review but Google only allowed me to edit my old post.*****EDIT*****The owner of American Power personally called me and apologized for the situation described below. I am amending my review because they took the time to call and discuss the situation and I think that says something about the company. I am personally going to give them another chance and I truly appreciate American Power taking the time to check in and rectify the situation.I needed 3 lawn mower blades for my Toro zero turn. I knew I could buy them cheaper ordering online but I will always support a local business before spending money with an online retailer. I went in to American Power to get the blades, after waiting 20 minutes to be helped (2 guys sitting in the back room chatting while 1 guy tried to help 4 customers) it was finally my turn at the counter. I told the guy I had a 62" deck and which mower I had. He told me that Toro does not make a 62" deck and after I explained to him that I have had the mower for 10 years and I know the deck size he finally looked it up. Turns out I was right and it is in fact a 62" deck, he went in back and grabbed 3 basic blades without saying a word to me. When he brought them up to the counter I explained that I was looking for mulching blades and with a big huff and puff from him he told me the plain blade was the only one that would work. I have mulching blades now so again I knew he was wrong. I told him I would bring in the blades to show him what I was looking for and his response was to toss the blades aside on the counter and talk to the next guy in line before I could finish my sentence. Lesson learned. I ordered them online for 28% less than he wanted to give me the plain blades for, AND I didn't have to deal with someone who clearly doesn't give a rip about customer service. I do not write a lot of reviews, but this guy was rude enough to warrant me sharing the experience. Don't waste your time here.
