Now THIS is a quirky place. We loved it. Who puts Auto Body and Hostas in the same sentence? Al & his staff have cultivated spectacular Hostas of every variety. It's all organized into a walking paths.In June each year, Al runs a Hosta event. It's so popular, local police direct traffic. Al's is way out in a beautiful rural area. Well worth the trip to this unique spot.

WOW! That's a lot of Hostas! Al has done a great job at this place and his and his teams hard work really shines. I was NOT that into hostas until I Came to Al's! As a Male under 50 (which seems to be be the mostly unlikely via age and sex), I am STUNNED by this place. Even if you aren't buying anything, you should still come and check this out.Al himself is a very down to earth and chill Guy -- Also, if you ask him his favorite Hosta, you're in for a treat! I picked out 3 this way (and I was not going to buy any) -- Can't wait for the burlesque variant!As for the Hostas themselves -- I've never seen roots as think as these. They were like dreadlocks. I would be shocked if something died on you. These glorious giboshis are SUPER SUPER healthy!Say goodbye to your Grandma's old standard hostas! You're in for a whole new world! It's Hosta Revolution!!!

Mark. Your. May. Calendars. Carpool with a SUV or pickup truck friend bc the parking is along a country road, bring a buggy bc you are going to fall in hard in love with a hosta from here and need to get it back to the aforementioned side of the road parking. My entire hosta collection in LKG came from here. Everything flourished bc when you buy from Al s you know it is grown successfully and locally. So spend this winter looking at all the varieties & plot your May 2024 Al s Hosta adventure!

Al s has the best selection of Hosta s varieties that I found in the area. He even has his own special hosta call Burlesques. Yep I purchased one. Made 2 visits this year already. Worth the visit he even has a path that you walk through to see all the hosta in their natural habit. Give the service, knowledge and product 5+

Thought I died and went to hosta heaven! Lovely variety of types and sizes reasonably price. Worth the 100+ miles from home. Owner wandered thru the crowd and helped with names, sizes ... will visit again.

We've been to Al's hosta heaven several times and keep going back and bringing family and friends. This place is amazing and a beautiful spot with so many varieties of hostas. Al is very helpful and friendly, even encourages folks to come and walk around.Great hidden gem. Can't wait for Hosta Fest each May!

A unique place to visit. An auto body shop that is an arboretum. Now I went for the arboretum....any hosta you can imagine is carefully curated with stunning walking paths .They open at specific times of year and have a sale in early spring/ summer . But you can also call in advance and arrange for a time to walk through. The owner is super friendly and responsive.Just so unique and a beautiful local experience.

Wow such a beautiful place with more hostas than I ever thought possible. Great prices and knowledgeable friendly staff and I could of spent all day walking the trail.

Beautiful plants and flowers- has a website for hosta festival-body shop is small for that personal touch and I've known the owner for over 30 years always top notch
