Beautiful campground filled with great fall colors. I've never had a reservation quite like that. No money down to hold it cash only payment. $45 a night. I coulda sworn he told me $34 on the phone. Bar a block away with food. Beautiful lakes and country drives exploring the area. The perfect end to a perfect camp jumping 2 week color chasing trip!

Apparently they don t care for the snowmobile crowd, did we ever get a frosty reception when our group of 6 snowmobiles and riders stopped in for a break and refreshments while on the trail. The bartender did not say one single word to any of us the entire time we got there until we left - no greeting, no how can I help you, no thank you, not bye, thanks for coming in - not one single word. It was really uncomfortable. Wordlessly took our order and payment, and just stared at us the entire time like we had just ruined her day by coming in. Wow. Don t worry, lady, we won t be back. Our group was not rowdy, rude or in any way deserving of being treated like we were.

My husband & I visited several campgrounds over the past 3 years to choose one we could both be comfortable in. With the new ownership of this campground, they appear to be going above and beyond to be sure their campground is updated. We chose this campground in 2015 and are so pleased that we did. The host is easy to work with but assures that all the campers are treated well and the owner continues to improve the campground. We love having the entire Chain O'Lakes at our disposal. The golf course is just down the road, so when we have guests they an golf also. Several of their docks are new and improved. Also, having the Tiki Bar so close offers food and a fun place to hang out if you just need something different. It was absolutely the right choice for us.

Friendly and helpful staff. Electrical and water on sites. But sites are too close.Airport 1/4 Mile away as roaring plane engines taking off overhead all day and evening. It gets really annoying.This RV campground is designed for people who like to go boating. It does not have a friendly swim Beach. It's parked full of boats at the beach that you swim between. Kind of a joke.Other campers are seasonal renters and they are quiet and respectful.Highway next to Campground is loud and noisy all night with loud trucks and motorcycles.The boat's have no restricted hours for making waves so jet skis and power boats make noise and waves all day.Campground owners are trying really hard to make it a nice Campground.

Harbor Campground is one of my favorites places in Wisconsin. This is a wonderful place to make family memories and be with friends. I had the chance to visit this campground a couple of times when studying in Wausau. My friends and I made epic memories. This is a great place if you enjoy of fishing and watersports. I always remember the great camp fires and wonderful time we spent with friends at this place. The sunset by the beach is gorgeous.

We had the 4 bedroom house. We were there 2 nights and it was quiet and safe. Wish we could have spent more time there!

Great service and selection. Duck wantons are a must. New owners have taken this already great location to a new level. Don't miss it

Great campground especially if you enjoying any watersport or fishing! Would be 5 star if the sites were full service (w/e only) and there was a camp store.

The 4.5 stars is definitely overrated. The layout is haphazard, the grounds are unkempt, and there was no map or markings to show site amenities.

I have a campsite at Harbor Campgrounds. Altho the weather doesn't always work out to be perfect, the campground is a relaxing and enjoyable time spent.

Best place around for camping/RV pull in. Connection to the lakes and airfield. Clean restrooms/showers.
