I was in a very bad place with my car . I had called multiple mechanics and all were either rude or just absolutely outrageous with their quote to repair my car. I called D.J Automotive and gave me the lowest quote out of all that I called. " JUST SMASHED EVERYONE ELSE ". They got me in very quickly, considering it was a holiday weekend. All others where 1 month to 2 months to get me in. Ty D. J . Automotive for being a great shop and helping my family out when needed. I highly recommend your services to others!

Took my 2004 Dodge ram 1500 in for a wobble the mechanics were efficient and fast identifying the issue and replaced my wheel bearing in an efficient and fast amount of time but also showed the top quality work that was done would recommend every time to friends and family

The owner Dave did some bearing work for me more than once. This is a very honest & trust worthy shop. His prices are fair & he is very professional. I have been doing my own work a very long time. I had a coolant problem and the problem was fixed very professionally. The two men working there were extremely helpful. Dave even showed me the faulty part and explained what went wrong.Will be going here again. Very trusting!May 2021I had my bearings replaced in the front of my truck. Once again, Dave and his employees were amazing. Extremely professional, good price, and a very clean and organized workshop.Highly recommend this professional mechanic and his staff. Even though my truck isn't the newest looking one, he still treated it like it was his own.I'm a backyard mechanic and he surpassed my expectations and felt very good patronizing his business.

Dave is awesome, just had some work done on a brake system (front left caliper seal was leaking). He took the time to explain what was wrong and give us an accurate quote for the cost of the repair. He even suggested we look into the warranty at our previous mechanic since the part was less than a year old. He risked losing our business for the replacement in mentioning the warranty but we decided to have him repair it instead of going back to the other shop. Honest guy that does quality work, definitely going to be our future go-to for any car work we need to have done.

Highly recommend dedicated to us when my husband's truck broke down in Duluth. We had to wait a few days for the truck to be looked at but that is a good sign that they were busy. Fixed the problem & was fast about it. Wouldn't hesitate to go there agsinor recommend them to others.

I have to say that over the years of going to DJ Auto I have never been steered wrong. They aren't usually going to be the fastest or the cheapest, but you are going to get honesty and real work. They usually show you the bad parts that they recommended replacing when you come back to pick up. It's a nice reassurance to know they don't hide things. Can't say enough good things about Dave and his team. None of them spoke down to me at any time for not knowing information and always politely put everything into layman's terms for me so I could understand. Very good people who do honest work. It's the only place I'll ever go for car needs in the Superior/Duluth area.

3 1/2 weeks being told two times our car would be put in the shop and done on a certain date and wasn't. Told payments could be made then owner backed out. Go to pick our vehicle up and the glove box and center console are tore apart all over my passenger seat and all the owner can say is well inventory your car and let me know if anything is missing Terrible customer service and all around sketchy business. 10/10 do not recommend and will never go back!! This business will rob you blind and shrug like its no big deal. Never even questioned his staff on the incident.

Rolled into Superior after a trip to the UP and the alternator in my car went out. Within four hours, these guys had us back on our way down to the Twin Cities. They went above and beyond and so far, it looks like the work they did was good.Service: ElectricalService: Electrical

Dave was very helpful with fixing my car and even gave me a ride back to school so I could make it to class. Very helpful and is one of the sweetest people I have met; this is the first time I have taken my car to his shop but I will be sure to return in the future!

Quoted me for some work; found the labor required to be less than initially projected, called me back with an adjusted price.I am left with a sense of integrity and honest service about 5 star automotive. You know you don't realize how important it is to rate some one here, untill you move and need to find a new garage to go to. Dave THANKS for all the greatest sevice over the last 25 years, always fair prices, the kmo of the saved me money saved me money time after time, the willingness to fit me in on short emergency services. I recommend this shop as a great place to take your ride, no mater what you drive, fast fair price axznd experts in car repairs.

The best ever, for years and years and years! We ve never had an issue with any of the vehicles they ve repaired for us, and they ll always call with an estimate before making the repair. Very nice to work with and totally trustworthy!

I called to see if they could get me in at the last minute because my air conditioning wasn't working. He said if I could leave it he would fit it in. Fixed my issue and also asked me to let him know after a few days to make sure everything was ok. Now that's customer service!!

They did exactly what they said They were going to do to my car and it runs healthier as if they went the extra yard and did a little more to make it run better !First time I've been there and I will return whenever i have car problems.
