I sold my car to Sturtevant auto and Chris the tow driver was really nice and explained everything to my understanding. I give him two thumbs up. They made the whole transaction easy . I highly recommend them. Thank you.

Spend your money at a better junk yard such as Auto parts city, LKQ or jantz. Dont go to this place. They have 0 regard for safety, rude employees and want to milk you for every dollar they can. Clearly they are not doing too good if the owner wants to charge for everything and anything. Hopefully it gets shut down.

Terrible customer service. Rude employees. No help from staff. No seating area for the long wait times. Clear favoritism for other customers. Initially they told me they couldn t balance a tire but when I came back for a new one they said they would balance it, and they tried to charge me extra for it! I got what I needed, at least the closest they had to it. I do not recommend this place.

Chris was very professional and made sure there was plenty of clearance in my garage to be able to safely get my vehicle out, didn't leave any marks and was prompt, very courteous and helpful. I would definitely recommend them. They made my stressful situation stress free through the whole experience.

these guys are terrible, you spend all YOUR time to drive out there, and pull the part, and walking through a mud hole. only to get bled for every dollar you got on the way out. doesnt even make sense to go here

Very efficient you pick-n-pull yard. Large 4-wheel gorilla carts available. Great prices. Good selection. Well worth the trip I made. (U-pick, u-pull, pick your own)

UPDATE: I've been to the lot several times. Scion tCs are scrapped right away. I'm looking for a color in specific since I need the bumper, door, mirror and hood. On an occasion the car I needed didn't make it to the lot. Guy had it on the lifted metal racks. He said it'd be on the lot later in the day or the day after. I came back the next day to find out the car was scrapped and was told that happens sometimes. (I live 40 minutes away). I left my info for a follow up on the parts I needed. I was never called, oh well. I check the inventory page often. tCs will disappear in 2-3 days. A whole car can't be taken apart in 2-3 days. I wish this place would hold on to a few of them longer like other cars that have been there longer and are ready to be scrapped but are still on the lot. It's all I would would ask for of this place. Other than that it's a good yard. Friendly cashiers. Good prices.Best salvage yard around. Everyone else is closing their yard or charge admission. Hoping to find a burgundy scion tC at your yard soon for spare parts.

I was shopping for a radiator when the receptionist picked up the phone and could not believe how inept and unprofessional she was. She had little idea what to look for and was giving me the wrong responses to data she was looking at on her computer screen. I had to explain to her the information in regards to the radiator I was looking for! I finally got impatient with her incompetence and just hung up on her!

Friendly, helpful people. Great prices. I got fantastic replacement parts for my visor and rear wiper blade arm (my broken ones are at the top of the pic). I could spend all day here just looking around.

I've used Sturtevant Auto twice now (both times selling an old vehicle), both have been such pleasant experiences I had to share a positive review. Amazingly fast response time, vehicle was picked up and gone within an hour (and I live :30 away). The driver who picked up our vehicle (Henry) was extremely friendly, professional and fast.No stress, very simple, professional service from start to finish. Customer for life. Thank you!!

It's hit or miss here. They always have the part over the phone, only after driving here do you find out if they actually have it or not.

Great place for used parts. But if it s electronic I don t recommend buying it here but car or truck body parts,panels or mechanical guarantee best price is here. Friendly employees.

I had a pleasant experience working with Chris Aguirre he was such a light to my day when I had gotten into a car accident Chris made me laugh and really turned my day upside down I m truly grateful to had been in his presence we need more good positive people like him

I have conducted business with Sturtevant Auto a few times now, and I have come to expect top notch service from them. This latest time was no exception. Chris was very affable, helpful, and willing to accommodate. I have a very tight driveway on a very tight street, and he had no troubles expertly maneuvering the vehicle onto his flatbed swiftly and with precision. The price offered for my vehicle was more than fair, and as usual, it was an enjoyable experience doing business with this company. I will continue to recommend Sturtevant to my friends and colleagues, and will continue to loyally do business with them in the future.

I had a unicorn part for my 05 Dodge Ram that was discontinued and could not be found in any junkyard from Chicago to Milwaukee except for these guys! They have never let me down exclamation point

That place was a disaster! First we call and ask did they have the part we needed they said yes we told them we will be there in twenty minutes three hour before they closed , when we got there they was closed two and a half hours early. We left a message how you going to closed when you knew we're on our way there. Okay the next morning they called and apologized and said they have the part and it's ready, when we got there they said we have to go get the part they gave us a piece of paper showing us two locations where the part was but one location there was no truck there and at the other location the truck was stripped the only part on the truck was the right rear tail light. and you know what there answer was sorry we didn't have the part. They're a waste of time

Customer service could use some work! Unfortunately for the 1st time I had an issue with this. At first I left a bad review and now have decided to remove it because the owner Charlie reached out to me and corrected the situation I was put in earlier today. So a huge shoutout to Charlie, Glad to see the management stepped up and corrected what happened. Very reasonable prices and would highly recommend for your future purchases.

If there was a zero star rating that s what s i d choose this place is a total rip off. I came took parts off didn t fit then returned them but only got store credit ? Who wants store credit to a junk yard ? They didn t even have a replacement of the real parts i needed with the correct year. So now i just lost over 100 dollars this place is a total scam DONT GO

Received very poor customer service; rude, did not know correct parts or what parts were in stock. Four trips from IL, I'm out $$$ for gas plus $80 for one wrong part they won't allow me to return and after three weeks my work truck is still not on the road. Terrible.

Called to inquire about a part their website claimed to have. Guy that answered was very rude and snappy. Apparently has no way to verify if they have it or not. Part I need is probably sitting out there rusting, thanks to this guy! I'll wait for somewhere more customer friendly to have what I need available.

Usually a good experience for me, up until this last purchase. Needed a starter and a battery for my jeep. Picked up both, the starter which we called ahead for, we still had to wait an hour for them to pull. Took battery home in mean time. Went back for starter, went to put in my car and it was bad. Went back next day for another one. Had to wait all day for them to pull it, by the time we got it back home & realized they gave me a SECOND bad starter. They were closed. Next day I just flat out return it. Buy from somewhere else. Go to out the battery in after the new starter is in, AND THE BATTERY IS BAD. Attempted to return the next day, but because they kept the receipt when I returned the starter, they refused me a refund or exchange. Now I'm stuck with a useless battery, bad experience, and I'm out money. I will not be returning.

UPDATE 12/29: Charlie (the owner) called me first thing in the morning and got it all sorted out. A+I've been scheduling to have them pick up my junk car for over 10 days now. I was told someone would come on Tuesday December 27 in between 10 am and 12 pm. Kind in mind, they've already rescheduled twice. Of course, nobody came, or even bothered to give me a phone call.

Chris went so far above and beyond to pick up our 4 junk cars that were down a long, very narrow driveway. He was incredibly nice, professional, and honest - gave me exactly what they promised for each car and got them out quickly. I would never go anywhere else! Thank you so much, Chris!

If u haven't been here in awhile, they've really improved. They even supply carts with mud tires to help u haul your parts back! The prices are great, and the staff are friendly.
