Dave didn't waste my time and transparently offered me the going local auction price to sell my used car to him. A week later after fishing around Stoughton and Madison for other quotes I came back and we had a done deal in 20 minutes. His standing offer was one of the best and he didn't jerk me around before giving me a firm and fair number. Even got me a ride home across town. Can't beat that.

Heard good word of mouth reviews. Drove down, checked out a car and bought one. Will come again when in the market for a used car in the future.

This is a family owned business providing outstanding value! Definitely worth the drive from Madison or farther. Because they've been around for so long, I have more confidence in them than most used car dealers. In fact, I spoke with an older couple in the lot who were there to buy their third car from Melton. Dave is a wonderfully friendly and honest person who gave me plenty of space to look over and test drive the car I wanted, and then was willing to spend as much time with me as I needed asking questions. No high pressure sales tactics at all. I'm very happy with the Prius I bought, and all the cars on the lot looked to be very clean and in great shape. I have no hesitation recommending this dealership to anyone looking for a reliable used car to carry them for the next 5-10 years!

Melton Motors is an great place to get a reliable used vehicle that has been gone over thoroughly by an owner who cares about his customers. Dave Melton is an honest and smart business man who knows how to get a good deal on a car so he can give you a safe , moderately used car at a fair price. Highly recommended!

Dave Melton was a very honest trustworthy car salesman which is very hard to find in this day and age. He found the exact car that I was looking for at a price lower than any other dealer that I could find. I really enjoyed working with him and would highly recommend Melton Motors to anyone who is looking for buying a used vehicle.

Had a great experience from Melton Motors. Two weeks after purchasing a Subaru, the check engine light came on. I brought it to the service station and Dave took gave of everything. Excellent service and professionalism. Highly recommended.

Melton Motors and Dave Melton are great!!!! Honestly, could be a five star review due to the serious lack of quality, honest competition in Stoughton. Have bought two vehicles there, both are still in good order and they have a great service center to boot!

Melton Motors is the only place I'll ever buy a car from around here! Dave Melton is just the opposite of the typical car sales shark: honest, very helpful, never tries to "sell" you, and all the cars I've bought from him have been excellent. He can find you darn near anything too. Highly recommended for anybody who's looking to buy a vehicle!

Best place to buy used vehicle. The price on the vehicle is the sale price. Nice people to talk to, and give you insight into what makes the best sense for you. I've bought 2 vehicles from them and was not disappointed. I have also gone with people I know to purchase vehicles there and they were very happy also.

I needed some exhaust work done on an older (08) vehicle. All I can say is WOW. These guys not only did the work in a day, they were professional and answered questions i had about an unrelated vehicle. They charged me what they estimated and the car sounds great! When I talked to the tech about other issues we were experiencing he answered honestly and gave me his opinion about what to expect. Thanks guys.

Always helpful, great service, and great cars. Originally got a Civic here and unfortunately hit a deer 3 years later. Now I have a nice Accord that is in great shape and for great price

We had used Conant since moving to Stoughton a couple years back. But they refused to make good on their failed service, or even to call us back. Desperate, we called Melton at the suggestion of a friend. Melton was just as busy that day, but after hearing the need for immediate help, they kindly worked my daughter's van in just hours after our call. Not only did they fix and replace the Rt. Rear Wheel Stud with a new one, they also replaced her serpentine belt.Thank you, Melton, you saved the day. And Todd at Conant, who gave such crappy customer service never called us back as promised. Well worth the $44 to find out we were using a shady place. We are Melton customers now.
