DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE!! My car needed a new engine. Pat said he could put in a used engine for 1/5 the cost of a brand new one. I got the call to pick it up, only the car can barely make it home. "It drove great for me, no problems!" is what Pat told me. 3 times I returned it, with Pat lying to me 3 times that it was running great. He finally found a cracked spark plug? This means he didn't pass Auto Mechanics 101! I now have a working engine, but the tire pressure sensors got damaged in the repair. I have brought it in twice to have these replaced, only they now damaged one of the tires when they removed it. I finally stopped in yesterday and asked for the keys to my still-broken car and brought it down the road and will pay someone trustworthy to fix the damage they have done to may car (which they claim the tire pressure sensors were faulty and the tire was faulty, when they weren't faulty until Pat touched them). Entering the building is a disaster waiting to happen. For your safety and sanity, keep your vehicle as far away as possible. The only reason they got one star on this review is because it is impossible to post a zero-star review!

Hello anyone there??? Nope, never! They pulled an engine from an equinox I had and put it in a torrent told me it was running perfect, picked it up got to 205th ave and engine light came on. Well that's the transmission, after being replaced I gya call it's running great, except it wasn't still throwing codes. Water sprayed through the firewall because a plug they accidentally pulled out. Then an egr code went off had that replaced, picked it up and it died while backing out, and died again and again. This time it's a wire harness. Oh yeah the egr had to be programmed and after I have it reprogrammed to my car the engine light would clear, paid for that today and there is still a light on!! Way too much money spent on this car and after being told how many times it's running great it's still not running great. And can't get ahold of them to see what they recommendChange my mind pat

I've bought a transfer case, factory gm bose amp, and a driveshaft. They go above and beyond to make sure you get the right part, great customer service, great prices. The best around for junkyard parts Family has sold them multiple junk vehicles, been an absolute pleasure to work with.

Absolute joke this place, completely unprofessional and zero customer service. Tried to sell them car, called got an offer of $100 and I told them I would call back when I found the title. Called back 2 days later when I had the title and now the offer was $90. Fine, just wanted the car gone. Set up a time and day for pick up and they were a no show. 30 minutes past my window called and left voice mail and 30 minutes later I get a text saying driver was running late and would call me shortly. 10 minutes later I reply saying no problem, throw in an extra $20 for ruining my dinner plans and we're good. Never heard back, yes or no. Next day still nothing and now I'm moving on. Avoid this place like the coronavirus.

Chris provided me with some of the best customer service possible while finding me the correct color coded fender. She went above and beyond to find it and deliver it to me. The delivery driver, Ron, was also great to work with. I would be comfortable going through genisis again. The price was pretty fair considering the time and effort put into locating a quality part as well as, the rarity of my fender. I can't attest to any of these negative reviews, but I had a very good experience with Genisis Recycling.

Great service and pricing! Repair work is always done in a timely fashion and the work is fantastic. I appreciate that they look for ways to save me money by using parts from the salvage yard when possible. Perfect, given that I have older vehicles with high mileage.

Don't bother calling or leaving a message they literally never answer their phone or call you back. I've been out there to pull parts many times. They have good stuff at fair prices. If they could just answer the phone this place would be great. Also don't bother complaining about customer service it's a junkyard not an AutoZone or NAPA. You're going to get what you get. It's a bunch of scrappers they're not going to be kind, polite, warm or fuzzy so just deal with it.

Bad driver interaction experience in traffic.. not good for business.. I'm in a big truck 80000lbs accelerating to merge being blocked by your driver.. loaded deck & car in tow.. threw himself in front of me.. blocking.. I had to swerve to avoid collision and merged ahead.. he then passed me waving the "finger" at me.. ???.. Aug 25/21 aprx 545pm.. merging from I-35ws onto I-694 E

I bought a car from Budget Buggies and it's been 6 months and as of now the state still has no record of it. Very frustrated as I call and call and get nowhere.Excuse me 5 months but when you are on the border be prepared to deal with both. Could be if you returned calls we could discuss it.

It's a basket case yard. I feel kinda sorry for the management, as it's such a work in progress. The owner has big dreams but also big obstacles. Help him out with some business! I hear they do good automotive work! But they don't have a scale yet- something to keep in mind.

There is a good reason it takes a while to get an appointment. Great work. Knowledgeable mechanics do fast complete work. Get it done right the first time.

DO NOT GET YOUR CAR SERVICED HERE. I wanted to upgrade my gear ratio from a 2.73 open to a 4.10 trac loc. I provided all necessary parts which included an installation kit. I dropped the car off at 10am and was told the car would be finished that afternoon. By the general labor estimate book it's 5 hour job. Keep that in mind... At 12 I was called and told that they didn't know that there were bearings involved and that it would take a day longer and cost more. First, Why don't they know that? I knew that. Second why am I getting charged extra for something routine? So day two comes and goes, I become impatient around 430pm because I hadn't heard from anyone despite my best attempts by calling constantly and leaving a message. Finally at 545 a tech called and said that they hadn't installed it correctly and that they have to take it all out again, saying "we'll for sure have it done tomorrow morning" Which is day three.Day three comes and by 430 I can't stand it, I call to find out what's up. Same deal, multiple calls, multiple messages yet no response. Finally at 530 pat (the owner) answers and says that it's almost done. Doesn't know how long but... So an hour later he calls it's done. I have to line up a ride so I tell them ask how long they'll be there, they say they're leaving so I have to pay over the phone. Idiot like I am I do it.Day four (first full day with the car) I open the trunk to remove the old parts only to see they didn't install the traction loc! Now I'm angry. Car people know that high number gears need posi traction/traction loc. It's a Saturday so yep. Anyway now I'm checking their work because I've lost all faith. They left a magnetic tool collector under my car and the whole differential housing is leaking. There's a howling noise at anything over 30mph and something like a weird shimmy at 70 and it just doesn't feel right driving it.Those of you that know this repair/upgrade I'm in about $1200 parts and labor. For an incomplete job and poorly done one at that. Not to mention that when a differential is installed incorrectly the transmission will pay the price. They've ruined my confidence in my once trusty ride, ruined my $400 gears and installation kit, cost me two days of work and I paid them to this. Stay away.If you chose to keep reading it's 3 weeks later. They charged me an additional $255 to install the part they didn't understand, they've quite literally had my car more than I have in the last month. I will say this for pat though, he'll make sure it's right. However if you're like everyone else and need your car I wouldn't recommend. Smh. Silly "mechanics" took a job they didn't understand.5/5/16. Differtial burnt up, metal on metal at 70. 70mph-30mph in a split second- I almost died, cars hit the ditch to avoid me. The a holes wouldn't even send a tow.

Toke my 2007 Nissan Maxima in for inspection and alinement because of loud vibration they fixed it at a fair price and when I got the car back it drove like new and was much quieter it was a good chunk of change but we ll worth it they will be my go to from now on A+ From Don Reyerson

Sold my junked vehicle through peddle with them. Everything went well and got my check for $270 but after a while the check bounced which I find very concerning about a business. Thank God for peddle because they guaranteed I get another check. Also, I was on vacation when this happened and needed the money. Do not trust this business what kind of business has their checks bounce?

I would not recommend this yard whatsoever and here's why:1.) The person running the desk was not only arrogant, but rude and condescending to my friend and I. He questioned by automotive ability, knowledge and insulted me when I attempted to negotiate his obscene price for a part that is ubiquitous.2.) The yard we completely disorganized and poorly structured. I have been to many yards in my life and this one appeared to be organized by someone with the cognitive ability of a banana. Very difficult to find what you are looking for.3.) The gentleman (I use the term loosely) at the desk went as far as to attempt to attempt to justify his high priced part by stating that I could go to another salvage yard in Stillwater and I would pay a much higher price and be forced to buy attached pieces I wouldn't need. This is a lie.4.) I have done business with Sharp Auto Parts in Stillwater, MN and they are very professional. Very respectful and have fair prices. I wouldn't waste your time with this JUNK yard. You're better off with a broken car than buying anything from this yard.

We sold them some junk cars and it's been o er a month and we still haven't gotten paid. Every time my husband talks to Pat he is told a check will go in the mail next day. Never happens! And when we call to speak with John, he is never available. We will be filing with the court on Monday.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR THERE FOR REPAIR! WILL GET RIPPED OFF.I paid for the electrical work to be done on my car and was lied to from day one. I was quoted one price then when I asked for an invoice the price was waaaay different. I had to have my boyfriend talk to him (Pat) to resolve that issue, and he still took me for 15 bucks on the price for labor (the original quote was 60, he tried to charge me 90 then after my boyfriend talked to him he changed it to 65. what a load). Being a woman didn't help the matter. The shop leader (Pat) is old school and doesn't deal with females. Uh...My car my money. His repair of my electrical problem is a joke. I'm stuck going some place else and getting the work done proper. I was also afraid to say anything because I was truly worried about my car. This Pat guy is a complete liar and will cheat you. Good Job Pat. I'm thinking his true calling is a walmart greeter. WAIT. Never mind on that one, the walmart greeters are kind and don't try to rip people off. He should just go back to being a troll and give up

Do not use. They scrapped a vehicle for me and it took over 3 weeks for them to pay me for it. I ended up having to drive down there and made them write me the check in person. Unapologetic and unprofessional about the entire experience.

Dont try calling. They dont answer the phone. Dont try going in during the business hours either because while their ugly faces are present during buisness hours they wont let you into the yard. They will tell you to try again a diferent day but they will not tell you what day that is. This place used to be good but now sucks. Hope they go under and get new managment.

Had them sell a truck for me and it took 6 months to finally get the money for it. Kept getting told he'd have it for me next week, so I finally drove out there and the girl who was there wrote me a check for the remainder of what they owed me. The owner was never around when I called that's why I just drove out there.
