Terrible experience with this dealership from start to finish. After making the deal, waited 2 weeks to finally be able to pick up the vehicle. Was lied to multiple times while waiting for a pickup date. Then the same day we picked it up, began to hear a clunking noise, and scheduled it to be checked out that week. Needed repair costing over $1700. Dealership did nothing to make it right. Would not recommend this dealership to anyone.

Everyone was great when I was handing over my money. Now no one is ever at their desk. I left 4 voicemails and no return call. I left 2 voicemails to the girl who sold me the extended warranty and 2 voicemails to the guy who sold me the car. NO RETURN CALL. Its been 4 weeks and all i was looking for was information about the extended warrenty. This is not even about 1 month prior when the salesman who literally hung up on me when i said i wasn't going to bring my car to their dealership and go to one closer to me. Literally "click."

Just bought a new Outback from Tony. Everything went smoothly except for one thing: I forgot to bring the title for my trade-in! After bringing in the title, everything was great!Tony was especially good at orienting me in the modern features of the car. My previous car was 17 years old and I was intimidated by the electronics. Tony did a great job training me and getting me on the road!

Bought my Civic from Travis about a year ago, thought I left a review then but I guess not!Man was very knowledgeable about what I could take home that same day with my lack of a great credit score. Asked me all the right questions to help me find what I needed and was able to get me out with the perfect vehicle. Make sure you ask for Travis! He ll set you up!

I'm not telling you to not go here or to go here. My experience with the service department was one of laziness and incompetence. I brought my Outback in for service(which I bought from this dealer). The service department called me after I brought the car in, in which I didn't answer because I was busy. I called back 5 minutes later and was put on hold for 32 minutes before I gave up. The next day, I tried calling at 3 different times and was unable to talk to the service guy, Tony. By the way, when I was put into Tony's voicemail, they always transferred me to Kyle's. After the 3rd time of no response, I physically went there to see what was going on. We discussed some options and I told them to proceed. 9 days after this, I tried calling to see what the status of my Outback. I went to voicemail (Kyle again) and no return call. Day 2 went to voicemail and had the reception put a not in front of Tony and emailed him and no return call. Day 3, call again and the receptionist said he saw the email that was sent to Tony the day before and again he tried to having Tony call me back. Later that day, I called back to tell them I found another place to fix the car and I wanted to pick it up. The receptionist told me that Tony was just about to send me an estimate. 11 days after bringing it in, an estimate?, which I told them to do the work on. The next day I picked the car up to take to Jim's Auto in Franklin to fix the problem. It was the best $353 spend to get rid of this service department and go to a reputable place that knows what is going on.

I worked with Travis Schnuelle in sales. He made the experience of buying my 2022 Crosstrek Sport easy and fun. He took the information of what I was looking for and found me the perfect car. Best and easiest car buying experience I have ever had.

Had my dog chew through my seat belt and needed it replaced. I called several times and emailed there support line with what I needed. I even had a salesman who was looking for leads say he was going straight to the parts and service department for the belt. Not a single response did I get. Went to a different dealership with the issue parts ordered, problem solved in two weeks. Avoid International like the plague.

The service here is below a one star rating. It absolutely appears there is no communication between employees as well as a lack of training. So over the "I don't care" and the "oh well" attitudes. Would not reccommend this location to anyone. Seriously Subaru your service is very very broken.

From start to finish, the crew at International Subaru that I worked with was exceptional. Outstanding customer service-the whole package in my book. Great communication, great price and willingness to work towards your financial goals when it comes to purchasing a new vehicle. Purchased my first new car through them in 2018-had a great experience. Purchased my second new car through them in July of 2021 and had an even better experience. The concern and regard held for customer satisfaction was evident right off the get go with Ben Wallace. He went above and beyond, bending over backwards, to ensure that I got in to the vehicle I wanted. Gina ensured the financial end was quick, easy, but most of all that you understood what you were purchasing. Overall extraordinary team that treat you like family before you even walk through their doors and purchase a vehicle for them. Can't say enough amazing things about Ben Wallace, Jerod, and Gina! Great crew with exceptional customer service. If google allowed a 10+ star review, they would have hands down, earned it.

Wow! What an amazing experience I just had. I purchased a 2022 Outback Limited and it was actually an enjoyable experience. When is the last time you can say you truly enjoyed the car buying process. I have purchased dozens of new cars over my 59 years and International Subaru has it dialed in better than any other dealership.I want to call out my sales professional Sage for going above and beyond with his service and you should know his follow up and follow through is the best. I will tell everyone who will listen to choose International for their next purchase and ask for Sage.

This place is highly unprofessional. Three weeks ago, I made an appointment for a recall and oil change. I told the lady that we wanted a loaner. She said we would need to call the day before which put us in limbo. The repair was to take most of the day. We called the day before as requested and the service manager tried to leave us in limbo again not assuring us we would have a loaner. Either say yes or no. Finally they said there would be a loaner. They also said they had no record of requesting warranty work. Most dealer know what recall is of record. We had to convince them it was required, even though they sent the reminder. My wife drove the car in and went to the wrong entrance.i usually handle the car maintenance but had a conflict. She was redirected and the manager did everything but put her at ease. He required insurance evidence but did not tell her to bring it the day before. Overall an awful experience. We ve bought two cars there. Never again. The ascent we paid a grand over invoice because it was a hot model. They are not afraid to take advantage of you.I found other dealers afterward who sold at invoice. Many better options for buying and servicing a car. I recommend not to put yourself through the abuse. Many other import dealers to choose from.

Our trusty little 2008 Honda Civic gave us 190,000 trouble free miles; but it was time to get something new. We researched cars till we were blue in the face. We decided we wanted a Subaru Forester. My brother in law told us there was no way a dealership would let us take out a new car in this day and age. My wife called International Subaru to make an appointment for a test drive. At our arrival we were greeted by Sage, who had everything set up. You know that show House Hunters, well we felt kind of like that. We had first looked at another Civic, just for old times sake. It was affordable, but didn't quite have the features we were looking for. Our first test that day was a 2020 Forester. It was a very nice car. Pretty much everything we could hope for. Then we tried a 2021 Outback. Oh, my beating heart. This was it! Time to negotiate. My wife had the idea to fix up the dings on the Honda and sell it. Then came Joe, the manager to dicker. Got our trade in up another thousand dollars. That made fixing up our old car a moot point.Buying a new car is up there with going to the dentist to put one in a mood. But Sage was very nice and handled all our questions and concerns. We overspent our budget by 10%; but we got a really nice car. Did we need a moon roof, a 11.5 inch computer screen, navigation, and the other bells and whistles. No, we did not; but they're really really nice. My wife, who tends to anthromorphize inanimate objects got really sad leaving "Bossy" on the lot. But now she loves "XenaLucy" (I got to name my Sportster; but not the cars). Not too long after we got our new car, we got a call for a touch screen upgrade. The service guy had a problem with communicating with woman. But that's his problem. At 6,000 miles, we went in for our first oil change and tire rotation. This time the guy we dealt with was super nice. In and out in 20 minutes.I know shopping for a new car can be a pain in the you-know-what. But our experience at International was pleasant enough. We ended up with a very nice and super safe automobile that will go anywhere we want it to.I give their service department 2 stars. All we can get them to do is an oil change and tire rotation. They put a short cut on our touch screen that we didn't ask for. They won't/can't take it off. Our phones don't work while we're in the car. The guy that checks that kind of thing out is never around. They absolutely refused to install mud guards for my wife. Lame excuses. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. My wife wanted to set up our 24,000 mile oil change, she was told the service would be $2000....WTH? When we called again another woman told us we just needed an oil change. Strange

I am writing to express some dissatisfaction with International Subaru. I have purchased two new Subaru s from your dealership in the past seven years. I have also referred your dealership to two of my nieces whom purchased vehicles from you. However, after recent events; I will never refer any family member or associate to International Subaru. My first complication with International Subaru occurred when my vehicles oil light kept coming on. This continuous problem lasted for a couple of years. During that time; your service team would top off the oil and no further diagnostic testing was done to prevent the oil light from coming on again. After verbal frustration with International Subaru (when clearly there was also a recall which I just found out about & I feel the Service Dept. should have known before me); the service team completed an oil consumption test. During this time period; several references and/or excuses were made to me explaining how a vehicle is similar to a human. I found this analogy to be derogatory and distasteful. I was very frustrated. After contacting the Service Manager; the appropriate attempts were made to correct my vehicle. And I m thankful for that. The second complication I encountered with International Subaru was wanting to cancel the extended warranty on the second vehicle I recently purchased. I was advised to meet face-to-face with Mike after 4:00pm. When I came to your dealership; I waited for one hour and I had to repeatedly ask the receptionist to page him (Because nobody bothered to greet me or ask what I am here for). After waiting for an inappropriately prolonged period of time; I decided to leave. Let it be known that to this day; no one from International Subaru has responded to my request for help to cancel the extended warranty on my vehicle besides letting me know I had to contact the prior owner of Lakeland. (The previous owner told me that this was something International could have helped me with, after he helped me.)The atmosphere is not friendly like it used to be at your dealership. I will definitely never purchase a vehicle from here again. International Subaru hasn t made any justification for the delayed service nor have you taken any liability in your mistakes and mistrust. It s too bad because everybody was nice when they wanted my money until I purchased the vehicle, then the service just went downhill from there. I was in the market for a new Subaru and IF these little things didn t happen, I would have purchased from International again.

I purchased a Crosstrek from them and the experience was great! No pressure situation. After I decided to buy it, Becky walked me through the important information in the owner's manual, and spent a lot of time showing me how everything in the car worked, hooked up my phone to the car, and a lot more. Every time I go back for an oil change, everyone is so friendly and it's really a great experience. I am so happy that I purchased my car here, and I definitely will be coming back for my next one!

My wife tried to take advantage of a special $9.99 oil change and detailing. They changed the oil, but when she got there to pick it up, she had to wait 20 minutes for them to find the keys. She went out to the vehicle and obviously no cleaning had been done. The service manager said sorry, our detailer called in sick. No mention when she dropped it off, no effort to make it right. They did offer to wash the outside, but it was still very dirty when they brought it back. I was considering getting some service done on my car, but with this treatment, I'm driving down to Sommers Subaru Mequon.

My Subaru was in for a repair after a check engine light came on. The service department was helpful in fixing my vehicle the next day, however, I had numerous issues after the repair was done. Not only did International Subaru charge me grossly inflated prices for parts and labor, they attempted to add an oil change to my bill that had not been agreed to or completed. When it came time to pay the enormous bill, the staff was rude and un-helpful. Additionally, the service and general managers refused to respond to my emails about the service my wife and I received.I have been a lifelong Subaru owner and will continue to buy Subaru products but I will avoid International Auto at all costs.

I had most of my experiences with another Subaru dealer. Just moved into the area and came to get my oil changed. They come out with an issue of oil pan drain plug had been stripped and screw could not be secured. Now this being my first time here it just seemed fishy that suddenly there was this problem after having been serviced by another Subaru dealership for years. They gave me a couple of scenarios that might happen after arriving and had to leave my car at dealership overnight to wait for parts. One of the scenarios involved looking for a replacement oil drain plug from area part stores. I was told they were not able to locate it however I'm not convinced that they even tried to look. There was then no communication from the dealership about status of the car at any point unless I called multiple times. Eventually gave up trying to call and just went in to check status. While the people inside were courteous and friendly, I could not shake that the whole situation was fishy. Regardless I would not recommend going here to have your car serviced.

I have never owned a Subaru but after my recent purchase of a 2020 Subaru CrossTrek I have become a loyal customer. With assistance from Joe Carpenter and Taylor Slimmer my experience at International Subaru was 5stars! We were deciding between two different models and they were able to give us an informative detailed comparison between the two. When making our final decision the financial and service package offered sold us on the deal.Thank you both for the outstanding service!

We purchased a 2017 Subaru WRX and experienced maintenance issues with it within a week of owning it. When we initially brought the car in we had a horrible time. They wanted us to pay for everything and pointed out that the car was sold as is. After meeting with the sales team nothing really changed and we felt that it was all about the dealer making more money from us. Eventually we were contacted by Ben Kamp and that's when things changed. Ben is a service advisor with International Auto and was very professional and understanding. He was able to get everything taken care of at no cost to us. The sales team including Peter were good to work with but Ben is by far the highlight of our experience at International Auto. We will not hesitate to go there for future vehicles and any maintenance that we may need.

The Real Deal:They were pleasant to deal with during the car buying process and even threw in all weather mats that were in another vehicle. We've since had the regular service performed on our 2011 Subaru and they've been a professional outfit to work with.Overall, they've been very nice to work with.

I had gone in with my Subaru Forester to check on the front passenger side tire. It wasn't driving like it should and when I had a tire exchange done somewhere else they mentioned this. I paid around $60.00 for them to drive and check to see what is going on. When I would drive it would act funny when coming to a stop. Well they said everything was fine but my problem with stopping continued. I called another dealer and they said it sounded like the brakes. So I called International back and asked if he did indeed drive the car and if he felt the vibrations when stopping. The guy on the phone said he wouldn't have been checking for the brakes when he test drove. REALLY??? He did say I could bring it back and pay the 60.00 again too now have them check the brakes. I feel this place is a dishonest money pit for the consumer. How unfortunate since I will be looking for a new Subaru in the future and would never come back here.

Was seriously disappointed with the new car purchase here- was very shady dealings and dishonest services that took advantage of my fianc. My fianc found the car we were looking for online, and called to verify it was available and asked for price to buy. The lady she spoke with confirmed vehicle and gave her a price quote, and we verified an appointment to drive 45min up to buy, not to see. Once we arrived, the salesman we encountered showed both of us the vehicle and then proceeded to give us a price about $2,000 more than phone quote. After explaining that we agreed to travel up based upon phone conversation earlier that day, he went to speak with his manager and returned with a quote about $1,000 less, stating the person on phone gave us the wrong price and they couldn t sale the car at that price. Since dealership was about to close soon, they then said they would not be able to process paperwork that day, but said they would either pay for our gas to return next day, or the salesman would be more than willing to come pick us up to make purchase. The next morning, my fianc called to ask for salesman to pick her up, of which he then said he was too busy and could not do it. Since I was not able to make the trip, for a second time, my fianc had her brother take her to the dealership and drop her off. Now she was alone to make purchase, the salesman came back to her and said her manager again cannot honor the quote, which they just wrote the night before when we both there, and stated they needed the full price, which was already $2,000 more than originally expected price stated over phone. Then they convince her she needs new plates, even though the plates we planned to transfer didn t expire for five months, racking up even more money. This is the most dishonest and disrespectful type of business practices- bait and switch & taking advantage of a woman. As nonchalant as these people were with doing this type of disgusting business, I will bet this was not the first, and hope to make people aware of this shady dealership. They are plain old crooks without honor. And they did this all knowing my fianc is a nurse who has been working harder than ever in the midst of our pandemic. SHAMEFUL AND DISHEARTENING!

I would not advise purchasing a car from International Subaru Sheboygan. I am so disappointed with the lack of professionalism and their effort to keep your money at any cost.On October 1st after a week in half of me contacting the saleman numerous times. He said car was finally cleaned and I could look at. Went there after work car was still dirty (looked like a car wash) was only thing done.I had a lease that I was trying to roll in, they lowballed on that. Then I felt pressured as finance manager and salesman were both waiting. I said ok I would take the car. I gave them deposit on Subaru it was already late. He didn't even run credit on financing or even tell me what monthly payment would be. He said we could finalize everything on Saturday.Once home realized it would be better to pay lease since they were not giving me what my vehicle was worth. I felt waiting acouple more months and I could get a newer model from International auto would be best.I texted the salesman first thing the next morning that I wasn't interested anymore. Now remember I left at closing the night before and texted first thing in the morning. He texted and said check was cashed and he will have sales send me the check. Then sales manger called and said that they were keeping $500 since they were holding for me and turning others away. Now remember they were closing when I left and I texted first thing the next day. This place will do anything to keep your money. I was going to buy my Subaru from them once my lease was done. I will never consider this dealership for a vehicle again. I wiill in the future visit Sommers for my car needs.

I called to verify a car that I found online was still on the lot. I told the salesman that I live 2 hours away so I wanted to be sure and set up an appointment for a test drive. I was assured the car would be there. I showed up for my appointment - the salesman wasn't there, he showed up 20 minutes late and then couldn't find the car (seriously! How do you not know where the car is!?!?!). He eventually found out that the car had been used as a loaner vehicle - that would have been nice to know before I had driven 2 hours to get there.I was given a call a couple weeks later when the car was returned to the lot. Sometime during those weeks the price listed online went up about $800. I asked the salesman if I would be given the price listed when I had originally driven over there - he acted confused and said that he didn't think the price had been raised but eventually said he would talk to his manager and call me back in 20 minutes... 5 hours later I called him. I asked him for an estimate on what the taxes and service fees would be and he said he would find out and call me the next morning. The following evening (still no call from him) I called and asked to talk with any salesperson other than him and that new salesperson was able to give me the information instantly. Both of the salespeople I dealt with knew less about Surarus than I do even though I have never owned a Subaru before and I am not a car person. Overall - Horrible customer service.

Don't get service done here. They'll break something, got an oil change done and they stripped the drain plug, apparently Jiffly lube techs are better trained.

10/10 recommend. I purchased a 2021 Subaru Impreza and I can honestly say I have never felt more comfortable in a car! The team at international Subaru not only sold me on the Subaru brand but they also gained me as a forever customer. Jerod Denning was an absolute delight to work with. He was personable and very knowledgeable about all aspects of the vehicle. I m very indecisive when it comes to large purchases. But with assistance from sales manager Joseph Carpenter they were able to help me justify why the Impreza was the practical choice for me. Taking care of the financing with Gina Eichstaedt was quick and painless! And I have to mention the detailing by Mike Daniels. When picking up my new car it was absolutely spotless. Every aspect to my experience was exceptional! My only vehicle recommendations from now on will be working with the team at International Subaru.

I just bought my first new Subaru crosstrek sport and was so happy with the whole process. Travis Schnuelle was amazing to work with as well as Gina. Travis took the time to find exactly what I wanted and then some. Process from search to delivery was one week. He took the time to go over every detail and was impressively helpful with my many questions and tech ignorance. Thank u Travis and international Subaru for making me a very happy lady!

On New Years Eve day we decided to go shopping for a used truck. We started out at a local Chevy dealership and while we were in the process of making a deal they suddenly had an internet offer that would pay the sticker price. Disappointed and upset for wasting our time we decided to check Lakeland Automotive. Gary Meyer was our salesman, he was very courteous and friendly. As was everyone else. We found exactly what we were looking for at a price we could afford. They also have a warranty for life program on any used vehicle that helped us make our decision. We give Lakeland a great rating because they treated us well and were willing to negotiate on the price. We will definitely recommend this dealership to our family and friends.

I LOVE MY SUBARU! Heated leather seats, all wheel drive, remote start from my iPhone; all the luxuries needed when living in Wisconsin! My husband and I could not be happier with our purchase. Joe Carpenter helped answer all my questions finding us the perfect fit for my family s needs. While Taylor helped make me feel comfortable with the overall functions and capabilities of the CrossTrek. I would recommend their service to anyone looking for a new vehicle.
