First time going here for emissions testing. Quick and will complete registration and put on tags for a fee. Worth it to avoid the hassle.

Sam's Auto Shop is is a great place to go if you are looking for honesty and work that is well done and backed by the shop. I will never go back to my former mechanic. Super nice people, very communicative and detailed in what's going on with your vehicle, won't touch anything without permission for each thing and they patiently explain things. I love this shop. They are so honest. The technicians are so very well educated. ASE Master technician. Price of repairs are always fair. Timeliness of there repairs is awesome. I first found them when my vehicle wasn't passing emissions. They had my vehicle passing emissions on the first try. The technician actually drove my vehicle through the readiness monitors so I didn't have to. Took my truck in for an alignment. Lisa got it right in and Andy took a look at it. There was a ton of issues with my front suspension. Andy explained everything I needed and how much it would cost. Not once did they pressure me to have it fixed there. Can't say how nice it was to know they were honest and the quoted price was more than fair. Earned my business the right way

They don't do unnecessary work to take advantage. They are honest and I trust them. I call first and ask how long a wait and they let me know when I can come in with no wait time.

The only place around here that I trust! They have always been honest with me about what I need and what I don't need, and they are very transparent about what they're doing every step of the way.I haven't had a chance to meet with or speak to any of the mechanics, but Lisa is an absolute joy to communicate with every time I've gone there. Fantastic service! Explained what was needed and why. My car was in right away and done when he said it would be. They fixed my car, did the emissions test, sent it into the State, and had the stickers. One stop, and it was all done.

Great shop nice and friendly . They installed 4 tires and did some other work on my vehicle . They did excellent job and he finished it very quickly. Lisa and Justin are very nice people. Keep up the hard work. My suv drives like a new vehicle again. Thanks again for your service. The cost was very fair and fit are budget perfect. They will get all my business from now on!!!!

By far one of the best local shops for car repair. The Technician working on my vehicle did an amazing job explaining everything that needed to be done to my car. In a way a women could understand easily. Not a lot of shops in Racine this well family oriented as much as Sams. You can definitely tell that their customers are always treated with respect. Sam's Auto Shop located at 4315 Byrd Ave Racine, WI: I would only trust them with my vehicle! The owner is very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain the problem to me. He even took the time to walk me through the problem with my vehicle and show me where my leak was coming from.As a woman, it is hard to find a mechanic that doesn't try to take advantage and overcharge you. With Sam's Auto, I felt informed and walked away knowing I was only charged for exactly what my car actually needed. I felt like they really provided great service and I walked away very happy with the result.

If u are of color don t go here. I believe I was discriminated against due to my skin color the literally charge me 300 to tell me the problem what was wrong with my car. Lady in the front desk was super rude.I learned a lesson today go with your gut feeling I take this as a lose but it all good you live and you learn.Service: Engine repairService: Engine repair

Great place to go. One of the only mechanics that will ever touch my vehicle. Justin and his team there are the best in town. Highly recommend! I had my car serviced here at Sam s auto shop numerous times. Alway had great experience! Reasonable pricing and alway got me in timely manner.I recommend to every one to come and get their repairs done here! Justin will alway make sure to take care of your vehicle.

Lisa, Justin, Andy, and all the rest of the repair team are always prompt, efficient, and thorough in their dealings with me. I recently switched to S.A.S. because I hadn't had to have any auto repair done for a while; although to be perfectly honest I had been very lax in doing basic maintenance on a timely basis. I just recently needed to have some work done, so I stopped at Sam's Auto Shop to ask for advice and to make a service appointment. I live just two blocks away, but I have problems walking long distances; so it was a very pleasant surprise to find out that I could get ride service home from the shop, and then be picked up again when the repairs were completed!!! Thanks everyone!!My current ride is a 2001 Chrysler T/C mini-van that serves my needs very well for hauling around my three Basenjis among other things. It is getting to the point where I may have to reinvest in another vehicle; but I have been seriously looking and haven't found anything comparable to this van that I really like.Electric vehicles interest me, but installing the electrical infrastructure in my residence to charge those bad boys is costly. And I don't have the patience to stand for a prolonged time at an electrical charging station, either in the rain, the blazingsummer heat, or the freezing ice or snow storms.So kudos to EVERYONE at SAM'S AUTO SHOP for all of your help and kindness!!!

Any time I call for an oil change or any service, they get me in within a couple of days. Very reasonable prices and very competent. They treat me like family and are very welcoming! I highly recommend them!!

This place is WAY overpriced (and rarely has availability!) They should be called Auto Body 300, because I swear every time I call or go there to check the price for work on my car, it s 300! I went to ask them how much it d be to have my heater mount replaced (not the actual heater, JUST the part it sits in) and these people said 300, asked how much for just brakes on the front end of my car, they quoted me at 300, THATS NOT EVEN COVERING THE BACK END! And mind you I m driving a little old ford! These people are a waste of time, and a complete joke! Doubt they ll be in business for long with the way the jack those prices up!

Bought a car off a guys who works here said the car ran great and yet 12 days later the car can t even run anymore he claims some part we re brand new yet they weren t so thanks for nothing! You took my money without feeling any guilt!
