These guys are nothing short of amazing! My car was sideswiped, and I got three estimates all in the same general $ range. Then, a friend recommended these folks, and I am so glad he did. They saved me a bundle, and I couldn t be happier with their work.When you stop in be sure to ask for Tony.

No matter what the job or service needed, their 'Johny on the spot'.It may take some time to get your repair done but it will be done correctly and at a reasonable price.Their one of the few auto repair shops in the area who are not out to get our money.The owner, Anthony (Tony to his friends), is a Master of the Automobile business.

The customer service here is outstanding! The owner Tony found the lowest price for me and squeezed me into his very packed schedule to get my car to me as fast as possible. Being a single mom first time having to get my car fixed by myself I was anxious and Tony put me at ease very trustworthy and kind. Will recommend to anyone and everyone!

They made my car look amazing again after an accident, and they cleaned my interior while they had it. It's like a brand new car it looks so good. My mechanic was a little hard to get a hold of and it took a little longer because of a part not being in stock, but they worked hard to get it fast so I could get my car back. They were very easy to work with, worked with my insurance and the rental company to make sure everything went smooth.Services: Auto body & trim repair, Oil change

I deliver parts here daily during the week. What's nice is their entire staff treat EVERYONE even the delivery people with respect and kindness. Not one time have I not been greeted with a smile and an offer of a cold water, coffee or a soft drink. Even the owner Tony. That type of kindness and culture is a top down thing.

This place did an amazing job with our car. We had a gas leak going and couldn t get into any places at the time. Everyone being booked and holiday. I called this place spoke to a Jaime and a Tony. I told them what was going on and we needed it fixed right away. They were booked out as well but said if I wanted to bring it in still I could and they would look at it in between cancellations. We did just that! And that same day they told us the problem (gas tank completely split) ordered the part and got our car fixed a couple days later. The most easy going interaction ever! We will definitely be using them again and recommend them all time!! Thank you!

Mr AC is very good at his work.Came here because I couldn't pass my vehicle emissions test he fixed the problem right away for just pennies. Came back for other repairs and I didn't have all the money he let me pay the remainder balance when I was able. Thanks Mr AC.

We took our "still new looking van" to AC with damage on the back fender where I had backed into a guard rail at a pretty good clip. They replaced the fender (which is a total wrap around item), matched the color exactly. Got it back and still proud to be seen in it. Courteous, honest, talented. So disappointed. AC auto was the only mechanic I went to for at least 8 years now. Idk if expanding was a good idea without any help. I brought the jeep to them in May. Even though I live in New Berlin because I thought they were the best but these last 3 visits have been a nightmare. They ruined my lug nuts and now are unable to fix it. Really is a sad day. I did not want to have to find a new mechanic but I suppose it s what has to be done. Excellent customer service. Very knowledgeable mechanics and competitively priced. Would highly recommend. Honest and trustworthy, which can be hard to find in a mechanic.*Update, I just wanted to add that I now have been going here for several years with any issues and I completely trust them. It's so hard to find an honest mechanic who won't add hundreds of dollars in unnecessary repairs. Make this you cars home for any issues or repairs.

Haven't had my car looked at yet so I'm writing this review strictly off how quick and efficient ingot my car towed here. I am new to Racine so google car shops and chose this one off all the good review. Sitting in the waiting room drinking coffee comfortably in a recliner watching a nice size TV. I am waiting for the driver to come back and take me home,yes they even make sure you get home. So far I'm loving the place and will update once I finsld out what is wrong and how much money I am out.Service: Body & Trim

I don t normally do reviews but AC Auto deserves it! They did an amazing job on my car, after I got into an accident. Everyone was great and professional from the front desk, to the back. Tony really shows he cares about his customers and for that I ll be coming back.

Tony is great excellent crew and customer service affordable prices too. My truck broke down and I got it towed they got to it and fixed it within the same week. I need a tune up now so I ll definitely be back to let them take great care of my vehicles

Went here to have a used car checked out before I bought it. They went out of their way to squeeze me in even though I was a first time customer AND I was running late from another appointment. They still treated me with 100% kindness and respect, had my service done in 30 minutes, AND gave me a BIG discount. These are the kinds of things that will keep me coming back. It s hard to find honest guys like this who provide such great service. I highly recommend going here for any of your car s needs!

A wonderful experience. They were so helpful when our air-conditioning had a problem. They fixed it the next morning and checked it the following day before we drove back down to Indiana:) definitely recommend! Thanks guys!;)

All I can say is WOW!!! I wholeheartedly agree with all of the other people who have taken the time to post positive things about this business.This place rocks! Tony, the owner is a rare breed. He truly cares and does right by his customers. I have done nearly all of my own work on my cars, trucks, and motorcycles for my whole life. I decided to take my son's car in for an AC problem and was pleasantly surprised by Tony and his good old fashioned auto repair business. A real jewel in the heart of Racine. Their price was unbelievably fair as well.I drove from 30 miles away, and hauled a small motorcycle on the back on a car carrier. About half way there a strap broke and it came loose and dragged behind my vehicle doing some minor damage.I asked to borrow a tool to fix it, and they didn't even hesitate and jumped right in and helping me make a minor repair to be able to get back home on it. Who does that these days????I now have a place that I can take my vehicles having the confidence that the work is going to get done right, and at a reasonable price.Thanks again to Tony and the crew at AC Auto!Mark R. 2020 Honda Civic sonic grey pearl- I had a mishap while removing a dealership decal on the back of my hatch. It cut through the paint and gouged the plastic body panel and was very noticeable. I talked with tony and with out batting an eye he gave me plenty of options to how to repair it and gave me honest labor times. He beat a competitors quote with out me even telling him what they were gonna charge. On the time of pick up I was very impressed. Amazed actually by the craftsmanship of their body guys. I couldn t see where I gouged the panel and the paint was spot on. In total it took just 1 day and saved me A LOT time and money. If your even questioning on where to go. This has got to be your first choice. There s nothing that beats a local repair shop that cares for their customers needs.

I brought my car in because I started having problems with my exhaust system/ muffler being too loud. I had originally taken it to a different place for an estimate of $1300 to get the exhaust pipe, muffler, and catalytic converter replaced. When I brought it here for an estimate they were honest with me and told me that my catalytic converter was in good condition and only the other two needed to get replaced, overall a $300 fix! They were able to schedule me in soon and got it fixed for me in a timely manner. I am very happy with the service they provided, Thanks Tony!

I came in asking for general maintenance and for them to look at a battery acid leak. They only did an oil change without running any other service options by me, and they replaced the battery and charged me for it without running it by me or explaining what was wrong with it. When I tried to ask what was wrong with it, the person checking me out told me he wasn t sure and that all the techs had gone home for the day, just that there was definitely something wrong with it, it was an older battery (but my car is from 2017?), and there was acid all over the battery which, yeah, that s why I brought it in. They also told me a part would cost $40-50 that a different location had quoted me for $8. Did not receive an itemized receipt. Will be looking for places with more transparency in the future.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Battery

If you wonder why Tony has a long waiting list, its because his business is his life, and he is an honest man. He has always beaten any other quote for my cars getting fixed. Might be a bit of a waiting list, but well worth it since the last time his employees diagnosed and actually fixed my old car. Tony is the kind of guy that hires real mechanics, which made me respect him even more.From my most recent experience, Tony and his employees know that when you have a serious concern about your car and it needs immediate attention, they will help you, better than any bs dealership. AC auto is the best place to go. If you need routine maintenance, just schedule in advance. If your car has broken down, and you are looking for a more than fair price, Tony is the guy to go to. Thank you Tony for fixing my old a$$ car and making your business here in Racine, of all places!

Our Prius was in an accident with severe damage to the front end. The insurance company categorized the vehicle as a total loss, but we elected to keep and repair it. AC Auto quoted a prize $500 less than the insurance copy cash settlement, and they committed to having the car repaired within ten days.While the repairs took the entire ten days, AC Auto finished on time, and when they were done you could not tell the car had been in an accident. The front of the car looked wonderful; the paint matched seamlessly, and the car drove as good as it had previously with no drift or alignment issues. it has now been a month since the repair, and everything is working well.Very pleased. We have utilized AC Auto's services three times (the other two were for minor issues), and have pleased with there service each time.
